The following are my own personal opinions and what i didn't like another person would have no problem with and vice versa. The location was good for me in the centre of Mtwapa on the main road. The reception staff, the cleaners and security were all very friendly. The way the maids made the beds was fantastic. The apartment was clean but the apartment was old and looked it but did NOT cause any problems. My room was a one bedroom apartment on the 4th floor, no lift, looking out to the pool area. Good secure area to park the car. Unfortunately my visit was in Covid times and everywhere closed at 9pm and the curfew started at 10pm

The early morning noise. Because my apartment overlooked the pool area and was in a quadrangle the noise amplified itself and echoed. The hotel routine starts around 6am and the TV is on in the dining area and of course the conversation that is going on. The cleaners on my landing are getting everything ready for the morning duties, mopping the floors etc. There was one evening at 11:30pm i had to shout down to the pool area for the people to make less noise but have to say that was only on one occasion. This is something you have to accept
