The breakfast was lovely, it was ordered the night before so that you don't have to wait too long. The house was very warm, as was our welcome. We stayed 2 nights en route between the Isle of Gigha (where the weather delayed our departure), and Inverness. Our host was very accommodating when we had to adjust our dates due to the earlier delay. We took a day trip to the Isle of Luing which was very interesting (lovely little ferry) but not much was open on a Monday, We also did a bit of driving along the coast, with beautiful scenery. We had an excellent meal at the Loch Melfort Hotel, but we found it very expensive.
The stairs were rather steep for my partner who has bad knees, but that's not something you can change!
