Riva Palace

The room was beautifully designed and very spacious and my particular room had water views out to the harbor and one of the walls was the old 3rd century wall of the Palace complex which was very cool --- I was staying with friends in Split and they came to see the room and were blown away with how spacious and gorgeous it was! Get the rooms with the water views if you can. **And kudos to Simona who manages the property for the owner --- her directions and photos ahead of check in were perfect! and she will help you with luggage (because yes, you have to get your luggage up several stair cases ---buts it worth it --- just let her know you need help and she will meet you!) Simona gave me a great, quick overview of how to operate the AC and showed me features of the property and gave me a map with great restaurant recommendations and pathways through the Palace complex for various circumstances (coming in late or less stairs). She is a gem -- owner is very lucky to have her!!
