About this house rental
The Axtell complex location does not get any better being situated right at the base of Silver Queen lift on Mount Crested Butte. Enjoy additional property amenities like complimentary wifi and an outdoor communal hot tub to observe the base area activity. Strict parking for 1 on-site. There are other pay parking options available, or free parking in the town of Crested Butte.
This 1 bedroom, 1 full bath condominium is located slopeside to the Silver Queen Lift on the second floor. Quaint kitchen with updated countertops, stainless steel appliances, and fully equipped. A small dining nook can be found just off the kitchen, seating for two to enjoy a nice meal. Additional seating for 2 more is located at the kitchen breakfast bar. Spacious master bedroom with king bed and a flat-screen TV. This unit features two balconies, one of the living room that looks at the base area activity and one additional off of the master bedroom that looks southeast toward the Axtel and Red Lady Mountains. Stacked washer and dryer are located in the hallway closet. There is free basic wireless internet provided. Not always the best for streaming, but great for browsing the web and checking email. Strict parking for 1 on-site. There are other pay parking options available, or free parking in the town of Crested Butte.
The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. Axtel is within close walking distance of the main transit center. Summer schedule runs every 20 minutes; winter schedule runs every 15 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes.

This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Almost everything about this property was great. Property was clean, well maintained and kitchen was well stocked. Location was steps from the lift and close to several restaurants and bars. Only complaint was property management. Sent message that we arrived 1 HOUR EARLY, no reply. Called and person was so rude. She had no idea if the unit was clean and available (1 hour early). Apparently it was an inconvenience for her to even call me back. Then I had to call again to ask about the hot tub code - rude again - said its in the email we sent with instructions. Email wasn't sent until after check in time.

Had everything we needed for 2 night stay. We love the Axtell building location and we’re happy to find a one bedroom since that’s anll we needed. Only recommendation would be adding a screen to sliding glass door off bedroom. Also washing extra blankets.

It was a nice little room for just my husband and I, just didn’t love having to park in a different parking lot because of the construction crew that was outside all of the days we were in town. Not very quiet. Lol.
