Owners were very efficient in providing access to building via key pad entry (using code they provided) and then accessing drop key box to retrieve keys, whilst I had never done this before and feared this process on arrival, I was met by one of the owners (Graham) who very kindly recommended breakfast cafes, nice restaurants close by and general run of the area, which was very much appreciated. In addition he explained the workings of the apartment, which was all very easy to use. Property was a bit of a climb from the main city centre as it is located on top of the hill, however in the evening it was buzzing location, with cafes, bars, coffee houses, antique shops and breakfast cafes and a lovely plaza located just below apartment entrance. I liked the fact that music in all forms buzzed out of cafes surrounding apartment but did however quieten down towards the end of the evening and did not disturb my sleep, even at the weekend, apartment was very well soundproofed and being on the top floor (Penthouse) it was far from street level to be affected by street noise etc. This is a very modern, spotlessly clean, well furnished and very homely apartment, with an excellent internet connection and a television which had many favourite English channels, both to and internet reception was excellent throughout. Extra cushions and throws for the bed were provided however not required as this apartment had excellent air conditioning, large units on the walls in both bedrooms and a stand alone unit in the living room/kitchen diner area, within a few minutes of switching on, the apartment was cooled sufficiently. These units also served as heaters in apartment, although not required. Views from apartment were lovely, it occupied the whole top level floor with a surrounding balcony, accessible by three patio doors from within apartment.
As I was on top floor, with some stairs to climb, a lift would have been desirable to get luggage to apartment etc, however, I don’t mind stairs and when I had luggage in location, the luxury of the apartment made the climb worthwhile each time, this Penthouse apartment was always something nice and relaxing to look forward to at the end of the day exploring Porto’s beautiful city.

A truly wonderful stay. The apartment was bright, spacious, and tastefully decorated with a wonderfully cozy feel, featuring exceptionally comfortable beds for a great night's sleep. It came fully equipped with all the essentials to make us feel right at home. The highlight was the spotless cleanliness, which truly went above and beyond, and the great neighborhood made exploring the area effortless.

The only thing I like was the location to main tourist spot and restaurant
The flooring of the building might a bit too old and you can sense the tumbling when you lying on the bed, you can hear kid running upstairs, mattress was too soft and WiFi is not strong enough, the rest was fair
