Get what you pay for!!!

The counter staff were great

Bathroom was not clean, the rooms are not sound proof and we could hear noise from the room above us and from outside, the hotel is so far out of the way of everything( prob my fault for lack of research) the big thing here is ITS CHEAP FOR A REASON, wouldn't stay here again.

the island is dead, it’s like a ghost town. most things closed and the hotel staff seem to have given up. there was only

WiFi was unusable, no one around to help, better value nearby.

-there is very weak internet signal in whole hotel -breakfast is one big joke, only water to drink and cold coffee which looks like yesterday’s drip from coffee -dirty common areas ( tables, floor ) -loud AC in room -we paid for room with the view but we got different one -surrounding has nothing to offer, there is literally nothing to do, so when there is lack of internet, lack of good food it could turns you down. -in that price, compare to other places in Vietnam, it’s totally waste of money.

Great View less Breakfast options and no English speaking Staff.

The view was great. Nice Big rooms.

The staff can't speak english. The breakfast had less options. At the first day only soup and some fruits and Bread. The ROOMS were nice an clean. It was very hard to communicate due to no english speaking staff

It’s affordable and has a great view, but the wifi was terrible and you could hear a pin drop in the adjacent rooms.

sink didn’t drain well, walls extremely thin and there was a lot of noise (people yelling in the rooms, yelling in the halls, loud music) and no rules against it, extremely bad WiFi so I couldn’t drown out the sounds

Rooms looked like in the photos on booking

Staff was neither friendly nor helpful, room was dirty, hair was on the floor and a used Toothbrush and shampoo bottle. They charged more than 50% of the price for early check in, which is WAY too much!! Wouldn't come back...

Only guests in a big group will get full hotel service

Near the ferry. Some rooms have a good view of sunrise. Good shower.

Not a good hotel experience. I sent an email to request an airport transfer - no reply. Arrived at 6.30 and asked where I could have dinner. Dinner would not be possible because they had a big group in. No other restaurants around hotel. Asked again and they said wait a few hours. Finally, I got one of three offered options from an a la carte menu, to my room. Microphone noise from group event was too loud in restaurant. Only warm drinks(1cola, 1 beer) in open fridge. No wine-'You can buy some in convenience store' about 1km away! Unbelievably loud karaoke thumping music. Guests other than those in a big Not a good hotel experience. Convenient location to tuan chau pier

The hotel is located in close proximity to the pier and it was v easy for us to get to from the bus station. We had to check in late as we were arriving from sapa town on the sleeper bus and the hotel staff were patient and waited well for us to arrive.

The spread for breakfast wasnt most delicious. Coffee was not brewed strong enough, so we ordered for another coffee on the side.

A room with a view.......Halong Bay

Nice hotel with a great view over Halong Bay. (except for the ugly building in front of it) There was a lot of construction going on right next to the hotel. We only stayed for one night, so that was not a real problem for us. It was also not that noisy. But, I can imagine that when you had booked the hotel for a much longer period it could have been a nasty surprise. The staff was great. Very friendly and attend fully. While we were waiting in the lobby to be picked up, the women from the reception rushed to us with a fan for some coolness. The area is brand new and in full development. A lot of road and pavement construction was going on. Not that many restaurants in walking distance. It's mainly a great place to stay when you have booked a cruise on the Bay, as it's walking distance to Tuan Chau harbor. The breakfast was sufficient, but not that great.
