About this house rental
Situated in Old Orchard Beach, this charming house for $275 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Entire home is cleaned and disinfected after every stay!! Immaculate, sunny and spacious open floor plan on first floor. Lots of improvements inside and out! 4 bedroom, 2 queen, 1 double twin, and 1 single twin, this home comfortably sleeps 7. We do have 2 kids cots for those little ones who like to sleep in your room .All bedrooms are on the second floor.There is a small pack and play also available if you have babies. A large comfy recliner chair. And plenty of seating in the living room. Full size dining room table with seating for 6 and 2 extra chairs readily available if needed.There is a detachable high chair for the little ones. And a bumble seat. 2 full baths one on the first floor with a super spacious shower, with overhead shower head, or hand held shower. The second floor full bathroom with full tub, and handheld shower head. And each shower also has a wall container with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Fully applianced kitchen, full size fridge, and full size gas range and oven, DW, microwave, and several kitchen gadgets, full stock of everyday spices, oils and vinegars. Enjoy a welcome basket full of snacks, a just in case you forgot basket with some basic hygiene essentials. There is central heat and a/c throughout the house and two thermostats one for each floor. Also enjoy several games for all ages, DVD movies, books for the younger ones and the adults. First aid kit with eye glass repair kit, and small sewing kit, outlet covers for those little ones safety. Bed Linens provided, all towels, and beach towels also. 12 minute walk to the beach, downtown, palace play land, pier, dining, and shops. We have 3 adult bikes, and 2 strollers. walking trails are located at the ballpark up the street. The back deck has conversation set seating and the front porch has a table and chairs and acozy nook area also full seating sofa, chair and rocker, and a great ocean breeze! Also a wonderful area for evening drinks, morning coffee, or meals! Washer, dryer, gas grill, picnic table, beach wagon, beach chairs, and beach toys, and boogie boards, soft sided coolers, and beach umbrellas. Nearby park , and market .Asian resteraunt just steps from house. WiFi and cable TV, DVD player, stereo, ceiling fans almost every room. Big back yard, with on site parking for 2 cars. We have Stocked the home with toilet tissue, Kleenex, and paper towels to get you going, there is liquid dish soap, DW tabs, laundry tabs, hand soaps at each sink area, hand sanitizer also available. Cleaning products in each bathroom and in kitchen should you need them. We are hoping to be able to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and easy on the packing . This is NOT a party area. And sorry, as much as we love them, NO pets. Too many people have allergies .AND PLEASE REMEMBER CHECK-INS ARE ON SATURDAYS ONLY AT 4:00 PM unless otherwise arranged with owner!

Stay was fantastic. Owner supplied everything you could need for a home away from home. Beds were comfortable. Brita Water filter was really a nice feature for filling water bottles. Home was centrally located to drive to Portland or surrounding area and walking distance to fielders choice for ice cream or general dollar and even the pier. Would definitely rent this house again. Thanks for a great property for friends and family to gather.

This was a very nice remodel older home with all the amenities you would ever need on vacation or otherwise! This felt like a Home away from Home stay! Good proximity to the beach, restaurant's and surrounding area. All the snacks and extra's were a very nice touch. Very clean and everything well organized. We would recommend this rental and would return again if visiting the area! We picked up our daughter, son n law, & two of their friends off the AT at Mt. Washington area for a few days of RR before they finish the last 300 miles of their AT hiking journey. They really enjoyed there stay!

The house is immaculate from top to bottom inside and out. Even the Weber grill was so clean it looked like it was brand new.
Just spotless.
Tons of little things that made our stay fantastic, lots of towels and wash clothes, spices, water, coffeemaker the list goes on.
Easy location to walk to town although we drove to the beach. Pretty quiet neighborhood with friendly local neighbors.
We are returning here next year, truly one of the best properties we’ve stayed at anywhere.

We have been vacationing in Maine for about 15 years and this was our 5th year in OOB. As frequent renters this home is definitely a home away from home and the most lovely of homes we have stayed at. All the amenities and extra touches made our stayed even more pleasant. I appreciated the full kitchen and all labeled items. The front porch was great for evening chats and cards games. The yard was perfect to play yard games and grill out. The bedrooms were perfectly set up for our family!!!! And our children loved the waterfall shower!!
This truly is one of the best homes we have stayed at to date and we look forward to returning.

The house is spacious, clean, and well kept. We traveled with 3 adults and 3 teens. The multiple bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect. It is a short drive to the beach or little longer walk. It has everything you could need while away from home. We appreciated the wagon, beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs. Unfortunately we needed the first aid kit, but everything was stocked there too. As described in the listing. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Despite some rain early in the week, there was plenty to do to keep the kids occupied. Once the sun came out they enjoyed the beach, while we went to Kennebunkport. We highly recommend this property for its cleanliness, availability of anything that is required for your stay and walking distance to town.

There were 5 old friends gathering to see the Portland area. This was perfect for us.; lots of room, super clean and included many extra. Welcome baskets, kitchen stocked, items for going to beach etc. The owner has truly made this house a home away from home. We will stay here again if we visit this part of Maine again.

This property was so charming and welcoming! Nancy and Bill truely thought of all the needs their guest needs. We loved all the labels and organization. It made it easy to maneuver around and find items. Our children loved the snack basket and all the board games. The binder was chalked full of useful information. Communication with Nancy was great and responds was timely. Thank you to you both for making our stay so enjoyable.

This house was so organized you could find everything so easily. Nancy was amazing at responding if there were any questions. We have a 2 and 5 year old. This house was perfect for kids. They had so many toys for the house and beach, and supplies like strollers, high chairs, cots, and so much more to help with cutting down the stuff of needing to travel with. We pretty much came with our clothes and toiletries. It is a nice walk or bike ride to the beach and pier. The beach wagon was really helpful to have a good day at the beach with all the supplies the house has. I was so amazed from the moment I walked in. We loved it!

Fun family beach house
Our family of five stayed here and enjoyed the quiet location. The yard was large and beautifully landscaped. The inside was very clean with cute coastal decor. We walked and drove to the beach several times a day. It was nice to have both options. The house had everything we needed and more.

Great house with lots of amenities
We enjoyed our week in OOB. The house was clean and every amenity you could need was thoughtfully included. We cooked some and found the kitchen well stocked with spices and basics. We didn’t use the bikes or chairs or baby items, but they were a great touch. The washer/dryer was a must for us and we used it daily. It is a decent walk to the beach, but we enjoyed the exercise and the closest beach access wasn’t crowded at all. We were thrilled we could see the weekly fireworks from the upstairs bedroom! It was late and we didn’t feel comfortable walking back at night. We chatted with a friendly neighbor who recommended a local restaurant. We took day trips to Boston, Portland, and Kennebunkport. We’d stay here again if in the area!

Family Trip to Maine Wedding
Wonderful stay at this lovely home. Clean and well stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need for both stay and play. Included linens (which many rentals in the area do not) this was very nice as we travelled from CA and FL to a family wedding in Dayton. Conveniently located close to Old Orchard Beach and a short drive to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport, which all are a must see.
Prompt and clear communication from owner, Nancy Holmes. If ever in the area again, would definitely stay again!

The house is super clean, in a great location and well stocked. This is consistent with prior reviews. Safe neighborhood and very walkable location -even to the beach. Only suggestion is to replace or fix the doors (bdrm and bathroom). They don't close easily and are loud when open/close. All 4 bdrms are on the 2nd floor. Challenge for seniors to go up/down. Might consider carpeting the stairs or putting strips to prevent slipping.
Otherwise, everything was great! Host was very responsible and a pleasure to work with

This property is just as listed. Plenty of space, clean, well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed having beach accessories available, especially the wagon, chairs and umbrellas. Easy, 10 min walk to beach. Friendly neighbors. A friendly tabby cat (Snaggletooth) that visited the front porch daily. Easy and quick access to Portland where we spent several days. The only suggestion for improvement I would add is to have room darkening blinds in bedrooms, if you're sensitive to daylight waking you up, I would suggest bringing a sleep mask. I personally didn't mind this, as we went to the beach several days to watch the sunrise and am a early riser, but one of my family members said they couldn't sleep due to light coming through the blinds. The yard was very nicely maintained and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck and eating dinner in the back yard. Quick responses to questions and although we never used the parking pass, it was a nice addition. If in the area again, I would stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nancy and Bill's. When we arrived the place was immaculate! Nancy left baskets of goodies throughout the house which was such a welcoming touch (and my kid's loved this!) We are hoping to stay at Nancy and Bill's again next year!

As the other reviews say, this home is perfectly stocked with everything you could possibly need for the week and includes so many thoughtful amenities. The home is updated and is so clean and organized, but also has the feeling of an old beach house, which we loved. The outside has a nice table for eating outside and there is ample furniture on the front porch and back deck. We were pleasantly surprised that it had the most perfect lawn for the kids to play in. We would definitely recommend to other families with children!
