House was clean and very comfortable. Well stocked with everything we needed.
Only thing lacking was spoons! We served gumbo our first night and had to take turns. We all laughed about it! Everyone commented on the comfortable beds and quality linens and towels. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay . Kids especially enjoyed the upstairs secret room . The only down side was the eat and spider problem in the back patio, which kept us from enjoying it . Kitchen was fully stocked except for scissors.
We would definitely come back again !!!

Overall the property was perfect for our family, except could use shade out back for grilling and playing games.

We stayed here with my immediate family and had our relatives that live in the area come over and we barbecued and held a potluck outdoors with them. There was plenty of space for kickball and horseshoes. Home was clean, there was everything you needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again sometime soon.

Everything was just as it was described and the owner was very helpful.
It was just what we were looking for with plenty of space and centrally located between Canton and Lindale.
We will definitely rent this one again.

This property was the greatest. I have stayed in cabins and other properties this was the only place you did not have to bring any amenities it was totally equip with everything . I will rate it a 9.5 out of 10 only because of the grill issue outside ..

Our visit was fabulous! The house is spacious and they provided for our needs very well! It’s a lovely property and a beautiful home. The game room is wonderful for our teens/20’s kids too! We went to Costco and came with a lot of groceries and the large fridge held it all!! It was such a blessing for family dinners especially. So thankful for this beautiful property!! We will be back!

Could have been better
There were not enough blankets for 24 people not enough wash cloths. The house was either to cold or to . hot. Inside fridge didn’t work so we had to keep running outside to the fridge. I loved the space in the kitchen and the master bedroom

This is the most beautiful home I’ve ever stayed in!! We were a group of 20 family members that stayed the night and 8 others family members joined us during the day for a surprise 80th birthday celebration. There was room to spare!! This place is HUGE!
Everything was clean, organized and high quality! I think it was the most comfortable bed and linens I’ve ever used!!
Was in the area for a small reunion but looking for a reason to come back just to stay at this house again!
Another reviewer mentioned there not being a lot of dishes…and that’s true…you will want to bring disposable cups and plates…but this is NOT a complaint… Just a suggestion to the owner! And in fact…if there wasn’t a single dish in this whole house I’d still rent it again!!

We were in town for a memorial service and needed a space large enough to accommodate our family. This place was perfect! On top of the space, all of the amenities and small things you never would consider were there! 5 star location!

Our family stayed here under unfortunate circumstances - we had to go home for my mother's funeral. Despite the situation, our family still talks about the wonderful time we spent together in Stallion Lake Ranch. The home had everything I needed to host visitors and friends and family for the week. The kids had fun playing ping pong, loved the "secret door" and bunk beds, and the family enjoyed a nice night around the fire pit. Everyone had the space they neededto escape and rest. After staying in various hotels and with friends while my mom was in the hospital, this home provided us that "home away from home" we needed to get through the week, and now, 6 months later, we are so happy we made the decision to stay there and have many wonderful memories of our family time together. My dad commented many times that this was the first time in years that he had all his children staying under one roof! This home was truly a blessing to our family and we want to come back under better circumstances!

This house is Texas- big and beautiful. There is nothing like large functional rooms, high ceilings and family spaces. We particularly enjoyed the fire-pit! There was plenty of wood and it was the perfect place to gather around for a warm evening of family fun.
Beds were very comfortable, not old worn ones, but probably purchased for this home.
2 Kings and 2 Queens.
The kitchen was nicely appointed with pots and pans, suitable for the size of the home. Thank goodness. We just used paper plates to supplement the everyday china. Wonderful, cooktop and double oven. We made a standing rib roast!
We also used the vases, very nice to make it feel like home.
Slight drawback was the lack of glasses, but nothing a Solo couldn't handle.
It would only be improved by a full bathroom.
I would stay here again.

The owner was gracious enough to allow visitors after the service. It was just perfect for what we needed and more. The kids LOVED the hidden bookcase door and got such a thrill showing every visitor. My daughter (7yo) who was apprehensive about the trip, didn't want to leave. So pleased with every part of our stay. The beds were very comfortable! My adult children were inspecting the pillows and mattresses, because they want to buy the same ones for their new homes. Just an all around great stay. Thank you!

Fantastic home!
We rented this home for a large group of friends - and it was perfect! There were 5 bedrooms, plus a bunkroom, large kitchen, and large living area. We loved having plenty of space to hang out together and enjoy being together. Highly recommend!

We rented this property for my extended family and the bridesmaids. It worked very well. The bedrooms were a good size, and everything was very clean. Having only two showers was inconvenient. We were able to make it work because only a few of us had to be ready at certain times throughout the day. If we had ever needed to be somewhere at the same time, we might have had a problem. You definitely would have to plan bathroom time with a larger group. My only other complaint would be that it didn’t appear to have enough dishes if you were actually trying to have a meal with a full house. If you plan to use disposable, that wouldn’t be a problem.

1) The WiFi instructions we received were wrong and we had to contact owner for corrected instructions.
2) No instructions for operating TV’s in guest bedrooms and there were 3 or 4 remotes for every TV. It took a techno genius 11 year old to figure it out.
