This cosy and romantic apartment has a private garden on the river front (that is separate to the building), perfect to enjoy breakfast at sunrise or a glass of wine as you take in the amazing alpine glow sunset. A unique one bedroom apartment located on the Aare river. Boasting a private garden with BBQ and outside seating for 4 (separate to the building). WI-FI. Double bedroom with amazing views. Large fully kitted kitchen, bathroom, lounge with SMART TV with Netflix, Disney and Zattoo and sofa bed. Cable TV, free WI-FI, washing machine, dryer, highchair, cot and shared single kayak with paddle and lifevest To access the apartment, you must walk 200m along a gravel path along the river. There is a luggage trolley at the apartment you can use. Accessible from Interlaken Ost train station by either an enjoyable 20 minute walk or 5 minutes bike ride along the Aare river. There is also public parking just 2 minutes away (CHF 4.- per day).

We loved our stay in Interlaken, what a beautiful space Juliet has created. It had everything we needed and it was a close walk into town. We had the best time and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much!

I really can’t put into words how much I enjoyed my stay at this property. The apartment’s location is right on the river and the water is the bluest fresh water I have seen in my life. You can open the window and watch the sun rise and set over the river while the ducks quack and swans swim with their partners. Even though the location is just a bit outside of town, transportation to and from town was a cinch. Great exercise if you want to walk right along the river or you can venture up a big hill to the bus stop. Most days I walked into town then got the bus back if I had already had lots of exercise. Restaurants nearby were great. The apartment had everything I needed. I was able to cook a few times which was perfect for me. Coffee on the patio overlooking the river was wonderful! Juliet was very obliging. All the locals were very nice greeting you as you walk by them a well. I guarantee I will be back again.

Of the 4 bikes, only 1 in working condition. 1 had a fender hanging off hitting the tire. Another the fender rubbing on the front tire ( couldn’t bend it off) . Last bike the handle bars were loose and rotated up and down. Couldn’t control.
Unfortunately previous renters were disrespectful to the bikes and the management does not check out what they promise.
If you wanted to kayak, it was 1/2 covered in water and slimmy. I never cared about that. Was never going to use.
Washer/dryer is public for others to use. You have to use an electric card to operate them. No biggy… but you cannot wash while the other person is drying since it’s their electricity.
We were only there 38 hours. So time was of essence. Thankfully the person said they could wash other loads later. The dryer worked great.
House was very clean. Bed super comfy. Shower was great.
It was hot when we were there, upper 80’s. The breeze off that glacier feed river gave us a wonderful cool breeze.
Cows across the river have bells on their necks. They eat and ring that bell from 5:30-21:30

The property is quaint. In our opinion it should be totally clear in the advertisement that it is neither suitable for more than two people nor for someone who is tall. The garden is separate from the dwelling - there is no direct access. Some cleanliness and quality improvements could be good ideas given the price.

The apartment was very clean and we didn't miss anything!! The location is perfect as it is right next to the river. We can recommend winter swimming there ;)

The apartment was perfect for the two of us! It has everything you need! Especially the garden is wonderful for the breakfast or some drinks to enjoy the view, very nice! The neighborhood is very quiet, you can take many walks in the area and it is very close to Interlaken. Very recommendable!!!

Loved the river outside and view just a 15 min walk from interlarken but nice and quiet the use of the bikes was also a big plus .So mush choce of things to do it was truly amazing all in all a well proportion apartment making us comfortable for a very good time

Amazing apartment in a beautiful location
We had a wonderful stay at the apartment, it is in a great location with views that are picture perfect. It’s a good 20 minute walk into town, but we went over the train bridge then along the water and past the cows (love those cowbells) and it is a lovely walk.
Would highly recommend as long as you are relatively fit to walk.

The property is on the edge of Interlaken but only about 20 minutes pleasant walk over the bridge and along the path beside the river which leads to both the boat station and the railway. It is quite delightful to be able to sit out in the garden and watch the boats and breathin the views. The apartment is ideal for a couple and at a pinch upto to children. There is adequate facilities for cooking and barbequing with a large coop and a small late opening coop store at the railway station. Switzerland is not the cheapest place but the travel passes do make for huge savings and are well worth the money.
We found the apartment both compact and very pleasant with the use of free bicycles stored below the main area. This is an ideal place to stay for a holiday that can lead to many visits to other destinations, both far and near.
We had a fantastic time and would recommend this as a great place to stay.

This place is on the beautiful river with a loevly view but for us (family of 4) it was too small. Bathroom is very tiny. Doorway height is very low so don’t book this place if you are tall!

We spent 8 nights in Seegartli Riverside Apartment in October and had a brilliant time. We had high expectations from the pictures and reviews, but it still blew us away. The apartment itself is ideal for 2 people - small but with all the facilities you need. The real treat is the location, which is stunning, with amazing views at all times of day.
Parking was easy, as was access. It's a 10-15 minute walk along the river to Interlaken which is great for a wander around and to watch the paragliders landing. We took day tips up to Harder Kulm, First (from Grindelwald), Trummelbach, Aare Gore and Reichenbach Falls. All great trips and my recommendation would be that, where there is an option to take a funicular or cable car up to a point but walk back down, enjoy the walk. There's so much to see.
If you're considering a trip to this area, I'd very much recommend this property as a brilliant base.

We had a great stay in the house. The room was neat and clean and the property was as described. The view from living room is amazing

View can't be beat
We ended up eating in almost every night because the view and outside ambiance could not be beat. We also enjoyed reading and writing on the couch by the window. The location is perfect. Close enough to town for a quick bike ride or walk into town, but very quiet and peaceful. We arrived during a heat wave, and the apartment got quite hot, but Juliette had a large fan to us the next morning. She also went out of her way to help me when I lost my wallet.
One issue I had was the low doorways. I am 6 feet tall, and I had to duck a bit so I wouldn't hit my head. I taped a couple pieces of dangling paper to remind me to duck, and that worked well. Overall a great stay.

The very best thing about this place is the view, the private garden, and all the comforts of home
What is there not to love when waiting for you is a nice bottle of wine and a gorgeous private little area to sip it in? Every day, we could sit on the couch and see the emerald water of the Aare, breathe the mountain air, see the cows across the river, and hear the train go by.
There are several hikes that can be taken from there. A nice hike to Burgseeli to warm up the legs. Looong hikes on the river in all directions. Twenty minute walk to the East train station ( Interlaken Ost).
We picked up wine and groceries at the Coop near the station. Delightful!!! Took the bus to Beatenburg for a nice hike with 180 degree views of the mountains. One of us paraglided too and we are in our sixties.
Juliet is extremely responsive. Oh, the hairdryer is in the bottom drawer of the bedside table.

Extremely pleased with our choice of stay.Fantastic position overlooking the river, rooms were very very clean and all provided eqpt was modern and in good condition.Easy to walk or cycle into Interlakenhoheweg.
All booking and correspondence with Juliet was very easy and fast.
Overall we were both very happy with our holiday.
Would definitely book again if we go back to Interlakenhoheweg.

What a delight ... Interlaken's hidden gem
The location of this property was perfect for us ... A short walk by the river takes you right into Inerlaken ... The suite was clean and picturesque and Juliette was awesome in communicating everything we needed to know to find the property and enjoy our stay.

Great apartment in nice spot
We loved our recent stay at this apartment. We never actually met Juliet, but she was very responsive over email and text, and she gave very detailed directions/instructions so we had absolutely no problems. The apartment is very nice. We had two adults and two children and it was perfect for us. The location is great. Very quiet, but close to a lot. We did not have a car with us and still found it easy to get around by public transportation, we just needed to make sure we gave ourselves enough time to walk to the train station. We also made sure to coordinate our grocery shopping with our travel schedule, as there is a large Coop directly across from the station. We also preferred to get to the station by way of the nearby train bridge. Beautiful views! We took a walk in that direction along the lake to nearby Bönigen and it was amazing. We would highly recommend this place to family and friends, and would absolutely stay here again!

A Perfect Location!
If you are looking to stay in a beautiful serene location away from the general tourist fray this little apartment is perfect! We loved the short walk along the river from the parking lot to the yellow apartment house. In October we were able to open the windows at night and hear the soft musical sounds of the cow bells from across the river. The apartment has everything you need and the added benefit that you feel like you are experiencing life in Switzerland! We could not have been happier!

We had a great stay. The apartment is large and the furniture is very comfortable. The view from the apartment is wonderful. It is a 20 minute walk to town but we enjoyed the exercise. Great hiking/walking trails starting just outside the apartment. It was perfect for 2 people, but might be a challenge for 4 adults. The bathroom is very small but functional. Everything was very well taken care of for us and we appreciated the bottle of wine!

We loved our stay the home was clean and inviting with all that we could possibly wish for. The view of the lake and the front little outside bbq area by the lake was just picture book. There is a little bit of walk in from the carpark but it is easy and well worth it to have the absolute lake position. It works really well if you have a car as it is a 5min drive to shops, train station. There is so much to explore in and around Interlaken we need to come back! We booked late but all came together easily with no fuss. Thanks
