Nestled in South Haven, this charming house for $220 per night is a great choice for your next break. Our yellow cottage is located right in South Haven. The historic downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, pier, and marinas are just a 5 minute drive away. We offer two bedrooms (1 wt king, 1 wt queen), spacious living room with a sleeper sofa. Laundry on site and a pretty nice size back yard. Check In: anytime after 3. Check out: 10 am The cottage was once affiliated with the Hotel Nichols right downtown. Although the hotel sold in fall 2017. You can check out our reviews on Trip-advisor. We are ranked #1.

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the yellow cottage. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked with anything you would need for an extended stay, as well as plenty of extra linens in the bedrooms. The location was perfect, just a short 5 minute drive from downtown or the beach. Definitely recommend!

Cute house, only 1 bath. Lots of dishes and cups/mugs, nice washer and dryer and lots of cleaning supplies. Quiet neighborhood. No dishwasher.

It was a little further away from town and beach than we thought. Didn't feel it was safe to bike to town to Van Buren bike trail or Beach. We made it work by just driving downtown, and to North Beach and to bike trail. Other than that it was wonderful!

They responded quickly to a last minute request due to a VRBO cancellation. The place was very comfortable, but a few minor supplies were missing, which was understandable, considering our immediate need for a place to stay.

The cottage was beautiful! It had so many thoughtful extras like chairs for the beach, sunscreen, and bug spray for the deck. All such kind touches that made our stay so pleasant. Would love to come back!

The house is perfect for a small group. Very clean! I had zero concerns with my kids relaxing in the house it was so clean! Has every amenity you’d have at home. Sits in a quiet neighborhood just on the edge of downtown. Your not close enough to really walk to the beach but the drive is only about 5 minutes. Highly recommend staying in this home.

Was a great cottage close to downtown. Not sure if it would be walkable to downtown as there are some very busy streets but as we have a infant, it was very easy to come and go. The amenities also made it very easy to accommodate our little ones schedule. Great place to stay with a small family!

The Yellow Cottage is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that is just a 5 minute drive to the beach. Very clean house with comfortable beds. The owners make sure you have all of the accommodations you need to enjoy your time in South Haven. We will definitely be coming back!

The house was sweet and cozy for our fall getaway. It’s not a bad walk to town but if you prefer to drive, it’s mere minutes. Fire pit out back was the perfect end to the day.

This was our first trip without our kids and our first experience renting a house. We will absolutely do this again! The house was perfect, the bed was very comfortable and the location was great! We are from Hillsdale and there just happened to be a chair in the house from our college which we thought was very neat! Thanks for letting us stay !

This was a sweet little house that was comfortable, clean, well stocked with amenities, close to the main areas of South Haven, and just perfect for the 4 of us to just hang out and visit and play cards, and run into town when we wanted to. We enjoyed our stay very much and may very well book this place again in the future!

It was our first time staying in South Haven & using VRBO. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was & the many amenities it had, especially in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, however the pull out sofa in the living room could be replaced. We liked how close we were to the town & lake. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!

We had a great time at this property. We had plenty of space and everything was neat and clean. We enjoyed cooking out with the grill and having bonfires at night. This location was nice to go to downtown but a little further to the beach than I would have liked but we made it work. Might want to check the freezer for a leak into the fridgerator in the back middle. We put a cup there to collect the water. We would stay again! Thanks!

This is a nice house for a family. The location is only a couple minutes from South Haven attractions. The house is well stocked with amenities and even had some toys for our kids. We would stay again.

We loved the yellow cottage. I read a review earlier where someone indicated they felt the cottage was further away from downtown than they would have liked. I was pleasantly surprised that it was .7 miles from downtown and 1 mile to South Beach. You can't beat that! Clean, super comfortable beds, the owner is nearby and very responsive. Had a wonderful trip.

Had a great time staying here it was very lovely! It was very cozy and the bed was comfortable. We loved how close it was to downtown! One thing to note was the shower handle was tricky the first time it came completely off, but we managed to figure it out! We would totally come back! Thanks for having us :)

We had a girl’s weekend at the yellow house and it was just the right size. We were a little confused because the house was in a neighborhood, but it was very cozy once we were settled. The house was near restaurants and grocery stores which was a plus! We appreciated the extra towels, blankets, and water bottles! Over all it was a great trip and a great place to stay.
