This unique cabin is nestled in peaceful Canyon Country Club just 10 minutes from West Texas A&M University, Panhandle Plains Historical Museum and downtown antique shops and coffee shops and a great choice of casual places to eat. It is just a quick 20 minute drive to Amarillo, TX or Palo Duro Canyon State Park, home of the world renowned musical TEXAS. This warm and comfortable rustic 3 bedroom, 2 bath hunting style cabin has been remodeled with all the modern conveniences. The living room, kitchen and dining area are perfect for a cozy dinner for two by the fireplace or for a small gathering of family and friends. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, flatware for eight and cookware for use in the microwave or oven and has crock pots and Keurig coffee maker with regular and decaf pods. There is also a refrigerator. The living area has free Wi-Fi and Smart TV, DVD player and some family friendly DVDs and board games and comfortable reclining sofa and love seat. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, quaint potbelly stove, antique dining table and chairs, desk and office chair and access to a fun private patio. There is a quaint bedroom adjacent to the master with a queen mattress and is a perfect room for smaller children or a teenager who wants a hide away! The patio features a 6 place table and chairs, free-standing bar/outdoor kitchen with a small fridge, hot plate, electric grill and bar stools perfect for relaxing and enjoying views of the canyon walls and historic cave located on the property. A fun laser light display showcasing the surrounding canyon walls is a magical favorite of our guests.
A separate bedroom features a queen size bed, nightstands and small writing desk and three-quarter bathroom with a shower. A closet has a luggage rack, robes, and some toys for small guests.
.The main bathroom is located off the living area and has a shower, toilet, and quaint vanity. Two nice Gander Mountain cots and two sleeping bags and linens are also available for children or extra guests and the cabin has a yoga mat, robes, and a thermal bag for a picnic in the scenic canyon. The guest house is equipped with central heating/ac, linens and towels, toiletries, hair dryer, washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, clothes steamer, Keurig coffee pot / assorted k-pods and teapot and free parking on the premises.
The cabin overlooks the private 9-hole golf course. The club house has a bar with views of the course and wildlife roaming the area. We only ask that our guests keep noise level low in consideration of the golfers.
There is a large outdoor stone patio beyond the driveway with great views of the golf course and 6 piece patio table and chairs and a picnic table and bench and an electric pellet grill and a portable sink and refrigerator for a fun family outing. There is a small strip to chip some golf balls or play cornhole with the family! The string lighting makes a fun night spot!
