Nestled in Playa Flamingo, this attractive condo for $181 per night is a great option for your next trip. Oceanica Condo 806 is located in the center of the main part of Flamingo! A short walk to the White Sands of Flamingo Beach and local restaurants. Relax on your private balcony and enjoy watching the ocean and the sunset each evening. With luck, you might see a Humped Back Whale family as they migrate past our area. You will see native birds from the condo every day and it is fun to watch the squirrels playing in the trees! Take a day trip to nearby Volcanos where you can have an action-packed day of fun. Visit spectacular waterfalls, water tube or white water river rafting, horseback riding, and Zip Line Canopy tours that are unique to our area of Costa Rica! Spend a day exploring the various beaches in the area, they are all different and beautiful. Then in the evening if you are too tired to go out for dinner Condo 806's kitchen is equipped to cook at home so you can enjoy watching the sunset from your private balcony. Let the sound of the waves on Flamingo Beach relax you into our famous "Pura Vida" mode! If you would like a relaxing day try the Palo Verde River Boat Tour! See White Faced Monkeys as well as our famous Howler Monkeys, a wide verity of river birds, different kinds of iguanas and lizards, and of course crocodiles! Don't worry the captain will keep a safe distance from them!! From mid-December to after Easter Flamingo there are arts and craft shows, live bands, and many other activities to enjoy in Flamingo! In February there is Marti Gras in the Sun which is 4 days of activities that are a lot of fun, including the crowning of the King and Queen and ending with a parade and help your kids collect candy and prizes that the makeshift floats throw to the crowds! This brings a smile to everyone's face! Note some evening activities may not be suitable for small children. Flamingo is a safe, family-oriented community but we still like to have fun! If there isn't anything going on during your stay and you want a "night out on the town" Tamarindo is only a 30-minute drive away. Being a louder community you can almost always find something going on in Tamarindo and return to the safe community of Flamingo! Flamingo is also very well known for it's incredible Sports Fishing! You can go out for a half-day and maybe catch dinner. If you want to go for the big fish go for a full day offshore and try your luck at catching a Marlin, Sailfish or a delicious Yellow Fin Tuna. Any edible fish you catch will be cleaned and filleted for you by the boat crew so you can either take it back to the condo to cook yourself or to a local restaurant where they will cook and serve it for you along with sides such as rice, beans, salad, potatoes and/or a salad. There are several restaurants in the area to choose from. We recommend Marie's Restaurant for a wide verity of food and a family atmosphere. Want dinner on the beach? Either Coco Loco or The Beach House is for you! Both have excellent food however The Beach House menu offers more to choose from. Want traditional Costa Rica food and the beach? Estero Azul and Pleamar are where to go. Other places to find traditional food are roadside Sodas. We will provide you with a list of other great restaurants in the area as well as supermarkets and tours. Flamingo has some of everything Costa Rica has to offer so come for a "Pura Vida" experience and enjoy Costa Rica to its fullest! Join us in paradise!!!

The view was beautiful and was close to the beach and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

The place was incredible and the views were unmatched. The only problem we had was it’s location on the hill as my mother is over 70. I would say a golf cart is a must so be sure to reserve one well in advance because they were all booked up when we arrived! I’d come back anytime!

Loved this property. We will definitely stay there again. It is described perfectly.
We had a terrible time with the internet which was upsetting.....specially during the covid crisis.
Otherwise Brandon was great at attending all of our needs.

Breathtaking Views in Quiet Playa Flamingo
This was our 2nd trip to Costa Rica and our 2nd stay at Oceanica. We stayed with one other couple and the condo was great with 2 separate bedrooms and bathroom (1 king with full en-suite, 1 queen with full bathroom across the hall) on opposite ends so lots of privacy. All the necessary amenities if you wanted to eat at home, but also lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Don’t miss the Coco Loco Restaurant’s Churrasco strip loin steak, where you cook it on a 500*C lava rock at your table. Tastes amazing and the experience is just as spectacular! The pool is quite small and simple, but it has an infinity pool and looks out to the beach. It was perfect for us. The only downside to the property is the steep climb up to the condo from the beach or restaurants, but who doesn’t need to get a bit more exercise when on vacation?? And it also means unobstructed views when you make it up the hill. Would definitely recommend Oceanica in Playa Flamingo to “middle aged” couples who want the beauty, quiet, and relaxation with occasional day trips to get the adventure. Hoping we can return soon!

The condo was as advertised and some. Pictures reflect the condo accurately. The view from the condo at sunset is amazing. The condo also has great blinds/curtains to shield the sun and the heat. The air conditioners are awesome as well.
The kitchen was well stocked and had all the necessary kitchen tools along with extras, as I like to cook. The ice maker was awesome. There were things left to borrow such as golf clubs, and pool noodles, snorkelling equipment and fishing rods. We did not use them but it was great they were there.
The condo is spacious and the washer and dryer are great.
The pool is awesome and right beside the condo. There are tables and chairs as well as an awesome BBQ which we used.
It is a trek up the hill, and the pool was very inviting when we got up there.
The grounds are very well maintained and Brandon, the property manager was awesome. He settled us into the condo and even helped us with transportation arrangements when it was time to leave.
Also we found out that the Tour Operator at Margaritaville will help you with tour arrangements and even car rental, even though we did not stay there. That was very helpful.

Lost all emails and went to the West coast first instead of the east, thankfully people at this rental were more than helpful to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Even hooked us up with a awesome sunset cruise, would definitely recommend this rental to anyone.
