About this cabin rental
The O’ Stanley Lodge, located in Hochatown Trails, is nestled against the Ouachita National Forest, which means no neighbors and nothing to look at but the forest behind the cabin. This large and expansive, luxurious cabin is only a few minutes from beautiful Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park.
The O’ Stanley Lodge is a big, three bedroom and three bathroom cabin which can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children. The Lodge has one master king bedroom on the 2nd floor that features a large bathroom with shower and a private balcony, one master king downstairs with a large shower, double vanity and deck access, and one queen bedroom downstairs with a tub/shower combo bath and private deck. All bedrooms have a TV with satellite.
The Lodge’s great room has a vaulted ceiling with lots of large windows to let the outside come in. The great room exhibits a unique flare of elegance in the décor, you will feel right at home with the detail and the amazing furnishings in this cabin. A wood burning fireplace, large leather sectional sofa, two comfortable electric recliners, and a fully stocked kitchen with a large dining area with table and seating for 8. Satellite TV and DVD player, movies, and games are available and are provided for your enjoyment.
The Lodge has a wrap-around deck with stylish, comfortable furniture to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the National Forest.
O’Stanley Lodge has numerous other amenities including WIFI, an in-ground fire pit, a six person hot tub, and a charcoal grill. (Propane fuel provided)
The Lodge is located within .5 mile of all Hochatown restaurants, miniature golf, go carts, winery’s and the entrance to the Broken Bow Lake Marina, as well as the entrance to Beavers Bend State, where you can enjoy trout fishing, kayaking, hiking, swimming, and much, much more. The Lodge has boat friendly parking space and is located at the end of the subdivision where you can really enjoy peace and quiet. I have been using VRBO for solo and family trips for almost 10 years now . This property is by far on top of my favorite list. Comfortable , Clean , Relaxing both inside and out . Everyday we sat and relaxed in awe of how beautiful the cabin was , it was luxury to us. The area and the people of Hochatown were great , I highly recommend this cabin which is surrounded by National Forrest , near the safari , a short drive to restaurants and other attractions. Hot tub was clean and operational , Porch is where I spent most of my time relaxing.

Brought my parents here for a weekend among the trees! This place delivered! wrap around porch made for many different sitting areas and views! You’ll see all of nature here as it backs up to the national park! Deer meandered through the property daily and even got a show of lightning bugs in the evening as we sat around the fire! Highly recommend! The biggest plus is fully stocked kitchen!! Hard to come by in the area! Pots, pans, serving trays, lots of utensils and basic spices!! It was great to be able to make so many great meals at the house!!

The property looked nice on the exterior and was in a great location, but we had several very disappointing issues. First and foremost, the place had not been cleaned good. We found two full loaves of bread in the cupboard—both moldy; and one of the bedrooms was full of dog hair (contrary to the “no pets allowed” policy). We also found a ladies pair of sandals under the bed in the upstairs master—the floor under the bed had not been touched. The hot tub outside was working but reeked of stale, untreated water—another unclean feature. Finally, the gutters on the cabin were completely clogged—had plants growing out of them—and we had several hard rains during the stay with water pouring over the gutters. Given the price we paid, I would say the stay was less than acceptable. For the price, we deserved better and VRBO should demand higher quality accommodations for its customers. I am tired of properties being misrepresented.
