This is the best beach on the Northeast coast. It is restful and if you like walking a beach this is the place. The house is nice and the location is perfect. Plenty to do in the area and the restaurants and shops has something for everyone.

The location and view cannot be beat. Has all the essentials you need to have a great week at the beach. David was very responsive and answered all our questions. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. Would definitely go back.

This was a special stay for my family and I. Walking out the door in the morning to see a magnificent sunrise and ocean.

My husband and I rented this house for one week. It reminded me of my grandmother cottage. What you see in the pictures is what you get: a rustic charming beach house. There are 2 very small bedrooms and one larger bedroom with one double bed in each room. The house was very clean and the owner was very helping and always replied quickly. This house has ONE key feature: you can almost touch the waves when you take your morning coffee in the sunroom.

Great little cottage with everything you would need without any fuss. The views are fabulous, nice neighbors, and really, the beach area is to die for.

Second time we've vacationed at Mainestay, and it was another wonderful week. Cottage is rustic beach but has everything needed for a family vacation. Very clean!! Gave it 4 instead of 5 stars only because I wish it had a couch in the tv room, but other than that, amazing!

Well maintained home, right on private moody beach (best beach in Maine). Great place for a family, plenty of room, beach out the back door saves the hassle of driving and parking and beach was almost empty.

It was a great week in this beach front cottage. So glad the property holds true to the spirit of the whole Moody Beach experience. Loved the traditional decor that reminded me of my childhood years in cabins down the beach. Rain or shine the views of the ocean are astounding from the porches. Looking forward to our stay next year!
