We had a great time while on our family vacation at DI Beach Club. The condo was spacious, comfortable and decorated beautifully. We had 5 adults with more than enough room. Easily could sleep 4 singles and 2 couples. More if someone took the couch. We did have some issues with our GPS coming in and couldn’t find the property. I called the number and had to leave a message (we came in on a Sunday) but never got a return call until Monday around 9:00. That was frustrating. There were also some minor issues with 2 of the TVs and one of the toilets which didn’t get addressed until the next day because of the late return call. After that however, things were great. The couches and beds were comfy. Plenty of towels. The chest in the bunk room is busted and the power cord to the TV has to be balanced on top of the chest or the weight pulls it from the back of the TV. A couple pot holders in the kitchen would be helpful for those that cook. There are a few beach chairs and toys in the patio closet but they are very worn. The condo was clean for the most part but the floors were filthy. We had to wear shoes from day 1 or our feet were black with dirt. Also the beach is not as close as we had hoped. It is beach front, but probably a quarter mile walk to the ocean edge. The last thing I will mention is the door keys- only 1 key will lock the door. Both sets would unlock though. This was inconvenient since we didn’t always leave the condo at the same time. Overall it was a nice trip

The property is in a good location (middle of the island) and had plenty of room for 7 peoples. The beach had only a few people on it and was clean. We had to rent chairs/umbrellas from Chase and Rays. The condo was dirty upon arrival, which is the last thing you want when traveling all day. The floors had not been swept or mopped. The bunk bedroom has horrible beds. Everyone of the mattresses has metal rods running across them that are perfect for rolling on your spine through the night. The window to the bunk room is right outside the elevator so you will hear everything that happens there. This window also has a very bright light in the outside hallway that shines right into the bedroom. We had to hang a sheet and 2 beach towels on it in order to sleep. The bunk room also has one very cheap and tiny dresser for your clothes. We weren’t able to use it properly because most of the drawers were broken. The 2nd bedroom window has this same problem. This bathroom shower was very dirty upon arrival with dirt smudges on the shower floor and mildew on the curtain. The laundry closet has thick dust all over. It was disgusting.

The location of this condo was perfect! Such a quiet peaceful location. The condo was a great size for our family of 9. The kitchen had most of out cooking needs as far as pots, pans, utensils etc, some could definitely be updated/replaced but good overall. I think our only "complaint" was that it was VERY evident none of the bedspreads are cleaned between guests. We washed them all promptly after multiple marks of food, makeup and overall grime were evident. The check in procedure wasn't super clear in the email but once we got there everyone was beyond friendly and quickly got us in. We will for sure be back to the island in the future.

The unit is so nice! We own the unit next door and needed more room. We were so impressed with the updates and changes made. It was so comfortable and slept everyone. Thank you for letting us share your home for our break. this is our favorite 2nd unit to have rented! Been vacationing at DI beachclub for 20 years! always a fantastic vacay!!

Very nice and well equipped condo. The only problems were the bunk room beds were covered in pet hair. We had to wash all bed linens including upper bunks upon arrival. (Cats?) the air conditioning pooped out on the last day. Otherwise great place. Not fond of playing maid on vacation though.

The island was great. It had enough shops to get the tourist shirts and trinkets. But it had a more laid back vibe and the beach was less crowded than at Gulf Shores. The condo was great. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The beach access was so easy and the pools were nice too.

Daulphin Island 2022 ----quiet escape
LOVED the unit and exactly as described.. Nice pools and everything about the place was Top Notch... LOOOOOONG Walk to reach the Beach, Very Quiet Beach with Dark colored Water, Oil Rigs in the Background.. Very few restaurants on island and the ones that are open, close at 8pm... EVERYTHING closes at 8pm.... Glad we tried it though...

A great getaway to the beach
Dauphin Island is beautiful it is a laid back family place. The condo was spacious and clean with a great view. We are a family of 9 and we had plenty of room.

We had to evacuate NOLA after Hurricane Ida and I found a last minute reso at this condo for a great price! When we got to the condo we were pleasantly surprised by the aesthetic and size of the condo. It was relatively quiet on the grounds/beach even tho it was a holiday weekend and there were other evacuees from the storm in town. We will definitely be booking there in the future!

Absolutely beautifully decorated condo that opened up to the most relaxing views of the ocean. The condo did not disappoint. It was tastefully decorated with high end finishes. Anything we needed was there.

Easy check in after 3pm. Property Manager checked to see if Unit was ready - but last minute cleaning was going on. The Unit was spacious, comfortable areas, nicely furnished and well stocked. The Master bath had not been cleaned as the shower and tub had sand in it. The front Bedroom bath had a dirty bath towel hung on the towel bar. I think everyone understands and agrees in Covid and with so many former rentals in and out, cleanliness and sanitizing is key. There was a lot of sand on the balcony and the table had also not been wiped off. We did not tell the property management company until we departed - instead chose to clean, sanitize and vac to our satisfaction. Be careful of the Master shower door as the bottom corner is very sharp: One of my daughters sliced a heel and one of the grands a foot. Maintenance needs to take care of this asap. The MB room has hurricane shutters but they don't close tight so lots of early morning light. Same is true for front bedroom and bunk room - common hall lights are incredibly bright preventing sleep. Darkening drapes are definitely needed in both. I am a former Property Manager and believe with all the rentals of this Unit, the owners could easily replace worn rugs, bath mats and door mats, as they were in pretty poor condition. The balcony door also rubs and makes a concerning sound. We have rented many VRBO's in many areas of the US and overseas and at this rental price point their are reasonable epectations. My recommendation for any new renters would be to ask to review the Unit before check in to insure it has been adequately cleaned. Hopefully the owners will be attentive to the other needs.
