With additional seating and a grassy area, the pool enjoys the same gorgeous view as the deck. A flower garden in front of the deck adds to the beauty of the area as does a small rock garden beside the pool. On the other side of the house is a grassy area with room for badminton, as well as the parking area. When you are ready to venture beyond the house, there are many options! Shopping, restaurants and movies are nearby; the quaint downtown of Cold Spring with antiques, restaurants and more is only 12 minutes away; there are multiple areas for hiking, biking, kayaking and golfing; museums in the area include Boscobel (with a summer Shakespeare festival), Dia, and Storm King Art Center.
