Situated in Kailua, this charming condo for $159 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Turn key ready for a relaxing stay. With on site parking, a common use gated entrance leads you down a lava rock pathway to a private gated courtyard that contains a BBQ, water feature, patio table & chairs and lighted umbrella to enjoy your garden day or night. French doors open to an expansive, air conditioned, vaulted ceiling great room. Free WiFi and a cable service equipped 50” smart TV, invite you to watch your favorite shows from the clean and comfy seating area. A desk and power strip is available if you need it. 1Gig/sec Ethernet avail. which is perfect if you plan on working remotely. The fully equipped living space, a four top table awaits to share your favorite beverages and meals. Full sized kitchen cabinets, kitchen counter-tops, full sized refrigerator, and kitchen sink are available for meal preparation. The separate master suite is behind two large privacy doors. The suite has two side tables with reading lamps flanking a large, extra comfy memory foam king sized bed. The quiet split A/C unit and ceiling fan in the bedroom keeps the room cool and serene. From bed, you can watch the ensuite 43" 4K TV or peer out two large windows into your private garden courtyard seating area. The bedroom has dark wood blinds that keep the room nice and dark when you prefer to sleep in. Double sliding mirrored doors reveal a huge closet space with shelving to unpack and unwind. It is filled with all kinds of room amenities including beach towels!!! An additional desk and chair is provided for additional work space if needed. The large ceiling fans in both rooms, the window A/C in the living room and the split A/C unit in the bedroom keep the whole suite feeling fresh and cool, even on the sunniest of Hawaii days! Laundry needs are met by the new front loading washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. Our bathroom is Wet room style with a dual shower head. We provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There is a shower stool should you need one. It is a 5 minute walk to one of the nicest and quietest areas of Kailua beach, consistently rated as one of the world’s top beaches. We provide 2 beach chairs and 2 boogie boards. When you return home from your day at the beach, there is a private outdoor hose area to rinse your feet, body and beach toys. We are just a short 5 minute drive to Lanikai Beach and hiking at the Lanikai Pillbox for sunrise is a must! We are also close to Kailua Beach Center where you can enjoy a world famous shave ice treat and get beach rentals of all kinds such as bikes, kayaks, surfboards, Segways, kite boards, windsurfers, and stand up paddle boards. Whole Foods, Starbucks, Target, Safeway and local boutique shopping in Kailua Town are only a 5 minute drive away. We reside on property should you need anything. One interior wall is shared with the main house. Guest access Keys with code will be provided for self check-in. We would love to meet you while you are here though. Other things to note: This property is rented a minimum of 30 nights. *No smoking in suite or on property. *This guest suite is only for 2 people. *There is a common walk space along the side yard. You have a private gated courtyard. We live in a quiet neighborhood with neighbors who live and work. We ask that noise be kept at a minimum and we ask for quiet hours after 9pm. One of our best stays back in the Islands; we frequent Kailua rentals. This one is perfect! Clean, newly updated, well equipped, extra/helpful amenities that made our stay easy and comfortable, peaceful and private. Easy 5-min walk to beach. Kim and Zac are most welcoming and attentive. Super short walk to the beach (4 minutes?) which for us...was the point. We went a couple times a day to walk the beach, relax on the sand, and enjoy Kailua's relaxed life. Kim and Zac were immediately there every time we had a question or a need. The accommodations were all comfortable, clean, and thoughtful. They even provided the BEST beach chairs! Mahalo!

Perfect place in paradise!
I am soooo happy I chose this rental, truly a perfect experience!!! The property is beautiful, large & spacious, filled with all the amenities you might need. Great kitchen for cooking, fast wifi, Two smart TVS, & beautiful private courtyard. It is quiet, safe, and so relaxing. Anything you might need is available to you! (for cooking/cleaning, also towels, beach chairs, etc) The beach is only a block away, and absolutely beautiful 💙 The hosts are INCREDIBLE and will go above & beyond to help you in any way during your stay. Truly great people with real aloha spirit ☺️✨ You will not have any regrets booking here!!! I felt right at home & will miss this slice of paradise! The house is located in a cozy residential neighborhood of Kailua, only a block away from Kalama/Kailua beach, and just a short 1-mile drive or bike ride away from Kailua's restaurants and grocery stores.
With its perfect location and friendly hosts, this place is a gem and we hope to come back to it someday!

Just what I needed. The perfect hosts in paradise.
I was so in need of a quiet, safe, and near the beach experience for my getaway, and this property turned out to be more than expected. The host family for one, turned out to be wonderful people. At the last minute I did let them know I was coming with an injury I was recovering from, and they actually took extra steps to make my stay even more comfortable. I did not expect it, but loved that they thought about me in that way. Made the Aloha spirit very real. They responded quickly to any questions or requests. I was able to have the quiet time I needed and get easily over to the beach when I wanted, especially due to their extra kindness. We can’t wait to return as soon as possible. I highly recommend their beautiful and fully equipped vacation rental. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again!

An extraordinary getaway in Paradise
The charming residence on Omao Street is meticulously designed to provide everything a traveling single or couple could desire while visiting Kailua on Oahu. The location, a block from the beach, is perfect. The bungalow (attached to, but separate from the property managers’ home) is modern, clean, charming, and comfortable, and is meticulously planned and maintained. Internet and TV services are excellent. Kitchen appliances and washer & dryer are first-rate. Local stores and restaurants are easily accessed. The managers are personable, welcoming, and constantly available, and perfectly reflect the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that permeate the apartment. On a scale of 1 to 10, we would rate it a 12. Only down side? Having to leave. Highly, highly recommended in every respect. Aloha!

Home away from home
It’s such a pleasure to arrive to welcoming and interesting owners, a property that is as good as the photos and all in a great location. This is a well appointed property with everything you need, in a quiet but close location to Kailua town and the beach is over the road. A great owners guide with recommendations for places to eat, things to do whatever the weather, and more than adequate operating instructions for appliances, aircon and entertainment systems.

Where you stay--and who's there to help, makes all the difference
We so enjoyed our charming and private suite--with all of its comfort and well-thought-out amenities.
After a rigorous day of paddling, it was so great coming back to our "home in the islands." Kim and Zac went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and happy.
They were right there if you needed something, but otherwise we felt like we had a wonderfully private retreat.
After Barbara lamented about not bringing her walking sticks from California, Zac showed up with a pair that he found locally.
When we needed "local knowledge," both Kim and Zac helped us hugely. The suite felt understatedly elegant and serene. It was immaculate, well furnished--and most of all, comfortable and welcoming.
And how could we not appreciate brand new washers and dryers and everything else you'd never find in hotels.
We liked the great restaurants that they recommended, but we also loved our place so much that we often made a late afternoon Whole Foods run and had our dinner in the suite or on the patio soaking up the evening trade winds.
While we had planned a full schedule of paddling, it was so wonderful having all of their beach toys--snorkels, fins, beach chairs, boogie boards, that we could grab and walk to the beach with. And the beach--which was only a stroll to the end of the block, was never crowded and was always stunning.
We'd turn one direction and go for a mile or so and the next day, go the other way enjoying dunes, surf, palm trees, and those beautiful clouds skirting above the surf.
We took a night photo of the twinkling lights at our private entrance--with a string of them in a heart shape, reminding us how much we fell for this place.
Kim and Zac have done something special. We feel blessed to have found them--and know that we're now friends. Aloha, Jocko and Barbara

Lovely Kailua Getaway
Well situated, great suite and hosts were awesome! We had a really great stay. Although the suite is attached to the main house by a wall, the family was very respectful, friendly and quiet. The suite had everything you would need for your stay, separate entrance with dedicated parking, the bed was comfortable, the decor was really tasteful and pleasant, and just a short walk to the beautiful beach. We were very happy with our choice and would definitely consider staying again when we return to Kailua in the future. Thank you Kim and Zach!

Cozy getaway
I stayed here with my wife for 10 days and we absolutely loved it! The place perfectly fits two people and it is extremely cozy. Kim was very accommodating and very quick to respond to our messages. We would definitely stay here again.

A great location and an even better home...
After living on the island for three years, we knew we wanted to stay on the windward side of the island. This location is a short walk to one of the best beaches in the world and I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise every morning we were there. The space itself was well designed and warmly appointed. It was up to date and spacious. We comfortable were able to host some friends for a game night and a couple of meals. The dedicated off-street parking was great as well. For those that aren't familiar with the island, the owners have a great booklet in the room with ideas on what to do around the island to include ideas for rainy days. Our brief interaction with the hosts was great as well. We will be back!

Had the absolute best vacation!
My brother and I stayed at this property and completely loved it and fell in love with the city of Kailua. The property is a block from the beach. Nearly every morning I walked to the beach for stunning sunrise.
The couple that rented the space was so accommodating and kind. They made us feel so welcome, and gave us so many great recommendations for things to do during our stay. SOOO HELPFUL!
The city of Kailua is special, you can feel it. Some of the greatest beaches on the island, amazing coffee shops, and tons of great local food!

Perfect getaway in Kailua. Great location.
I highly recommend this wonderful Kailua gem. The two room Ohana is modern, new and has AC (which is a plus if you’re not used to the humidity) . It is very private and quiet and I loved the easy access to Kailua beach. Kim and Zac were fantastic hosts and had such great advice on what to explore throughout Kailua and Oahu. They put a lot detail into making this place a wonderful stay, from the small welcome gift to the use of the beach chairs and cooler. I’ve stayed in many places in Kailua but this is one I’ll be returning to.

An amazing Hawaii experience!!
This was a much needed vacation for me... the peace and quiet of the space was perfect to get some RnR. This rental is a hidden gem, living in the heart of beautiful Kailua Town, we walked right across the street to an amazing beach and woke up early one morning to catch the sunrise behind the famous Lanikai Mokes. This great location made it easy for us to hit all of our bucket list items and still make it home to relax. The entire apartment is very modern, clean, and beautifully decorated. It was also very nice to come back after a long day at the beach to an Air Conditioned room.
The owners made the visit extra special by being so helpful and friendly. Truly showing us the “aloha spirit”, as the locals say.
I will definitely be coming back to this apartment next time I visit Hawaii!

It was clean, quiet, islandy, and easy to get in and out of.
I thought the property was great. When I travel I like the option to have my own space and come and go as I please. There is a cute lava rock path that leads to the rental and it instantly felt like an Island get away. The place had lots of room, the room was quiet and kept cool by a ceiling fan and AC unit.
Zac and Kim were super helpful and offered some suggestions on where to go while exploring Hawaii. The mornings in Hawaii are super rejuivinating and I spent mine getting coffee at Morning Brew and then walking on the beach. Their place is close to the center of town, but not so much that you are in the middle of traffic and lots of tourism. I’d say it’s just a 5 minute bike ride to the main portion of Kailua.
Overall I had a blast and Zac and Kim were super friendly and fun to meet. If you are looking to explore Hawaii and make some new friends I’d recommend you check them out.
