Where do I start after booking this supposed villa advertised as 6 bedroom we discovered it was in fact 4 bedroom with sofa beds in living area, adjacent to another house We sent sereval messages to owner responses took weeks and some questions remained unanswered. The owner was not at the villa on night of arrival to greet us, instead was at a party while we we're lost in a transfer in the woodlands, took multiple attempts to contact him, he wasnt very helpful. Arrived- complete darkness Trying to find keycode box Unlocking doors with multitude of keys Mouldy smell downstairs Stained sheets Stained bedding Not to mention the Christmas bedding. Dirty around pool area Debris in the pool Loose steps on pool A few of our party went shopping as they were leaving a neighbour a man approached and said if we need any help he is across the road which was nice. Then on return from shop they were greeted by the angry woman next door warning 10pm any noise she shall call the police, this was 11am in the morning. 8pm she returned walked straight into the garden I tried reasoning with her apparently she has people partying week in week out, I explained we had a early morning transfer and we'd all be in bed by midnight with no noise from 11pm not that we we're being noisy anyway, the woman was very aggressive in her manner. Word of advise lock the gate, we were up till midnight she didn't call the police.

A great property - secluded, beautiful views, the division into two flats is practical for groups, and the pool is excellent. Sadly the property looks like it has been used for bachelor parties for the past 10 years and has been poorly maintained. The decor is in poor condition with lots of staining scuffs and damage. The level of cleaning was very low. The dishwasher doesn't work in the upstairs flat (we were not warned of this), the microwave mains cable had been burnt through to the bare wires. The host was initally helpful with our last minute booking, but his responses become less and less helpful when we were delayed on the road due to bad weather and accidents. When I suggested that the linen might have at least been left in the bedrooms for our arrival (we had to go hunting for the mis-matched assortment of tired bedding) I was told "You may understand that you are not in a hotel". With a little love and attention this could be a superb property, perfect for both groups and families, but at present it is difficult to recommend it.

Maison bien située et agréable pour un week end entre amis. Malgré un quiproquo à l'arrivée mais qui s'est solutionné rapidement avec le propriétaire, nous avons passé un bon séjour.
