Staff wear gloves for cleaning.* This truly special home is located only minutes away from Harrods, Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park and more, while offering you not only a large rooftop terrace to enjoy the views, but also an incredibly hip and rich indoor space for you and your friends or family. The home comes with 4 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. There is also a private garage for one small car, a great perk to have in central London. The home is located in a very sought-after neighbourhood, making walking to attractions, shops, restaurants and more a real ease. It offers you a very large living and dining area with cool art, comfortable furniture and a massive glass roof over the dining table. The living room features a neon sign, a large and cosy sofa, armchairs and a flat screen TV, ideal for evenings after a long day of exploring London. The dining room is big enough to fit all your guests and give you the chance to eat breakfast under the sun or dinner under the stars. Its contemporary design is understated, unobtrusive and clean. Only second away is the kitchen which is outfitted with all amenities and ready for ou to use. All the bedrooms come with very comfortable mattresses, great pillows, windows and different wallpapers and styles, giving you different moods in addition to a good night’s sleep. One bedroom features a bunk bed, for adults and children alike, two come with double beds, and the last one features a king size bed. The two bathrooms are clean and neat and there is also a toilet room for guests added convenience. The rooftop terrace can be accessed by staircase and offers a unique and large space to enjoy an evening or even breakfast outside. You’ll have a view on the historic neighbourhood and its cute cafes and shops. The garage can only fit one small car. The home also offers high-speed WiFi and space to work, should you need or want to get some work done while there. You’ll have access to the home at all times. Because the home comes with smart locks, you’ll be able to check in any time after 3pm, but please be mindful of noise after 9pm. Right in the heart of London’s Knightsbridge area only moments away from Knightsbridge Station, Harrods, Royal Albert Hall and close to the beautiful Hyde Park and its Kensington Palace, this home is the perfect location for friends or family. Both Holland Park and Notting Hill are a few minutes away, and you are surrounded by hundreds of great restaurants and bars. The area is famed for them. With so many tube stations a few steps away, you have easy access to anywhere in London and can walk to most areas of central London in under 25 minutes. Given the location of the home, most of London's centre is in walking distance or only a very short drive away. With the tube station so close you’ll be able to go anywhere in London quickly. You’ll also be able to hail a London taxi or use Uber to get around. The home is spread across multiple levels and guests who have difficulties with stairs may find it hard to access the whole home. The garage can only fit a small car, and guests with larger cars will likely need to use pay and display parking around the neighbourhood. Travel cots can be provided upon request but guests will have to bring their own linens. Please, no parties or smoking. Please be respectful of the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm. If these rules are violated we will charge guests to cover the security call out fee and any additional expenses to cover their misbehaviour.

The apartment has the potential to be great with a unique apartment in a great location. Unfortunately, the apartment was in need of quite a bit of upkeep, and it felt musty and unclean. The carpets upstairs were filthy with large stains in every room.

Our family of 8 (2 grandparents, 2 adult children, 4 teenage grandchildren) really enjoyed the house. It was very conveniently located and well stocked with the necessities. Shopping and restaurants were very close and good. The floor plan, with all the bedrooms upstairs, worked out well. We were very happy for our 5 days there.

We had a last minute property change which worked quite well for our party of 8. The Property managers were very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

The property is in very poor condition for one promoted as a luxury dwelling. Water pressure in showers was very low. Beds were extremely squeaky and appeared to be of "budget" quality. Sheets did not fit completely across the beds. The sheets appeared to be double size while the beds are queen size. Mattresses were also of low quality. One blind in left front bedroom did not open at all. Neither adequately covered the windows at night allowing the street light to shine into the room. Paint is peeling from walls in many rooms. Curtains in room with bunk beds did not adequately cover the windows and allowed light to shine into the room. Lights were flickering in the lounge room and some fittings were falling away from the ceiling in other rooms. Microwave turntable did not work. Oven did not heat properly. Broken glass on shelf in fridge, which led to an injury to one of our party. Broken doors in freezer trays. Freezer was frosted over and not all trays could be used. Overall cleanliness, in particular the kitchen floor, is well below an acceptable standard. There were no instructions readily available for operation of any appliances.

Upon arrival, the access code supplied failed to work. The "cleaner" who was still there had to admit us & acquire a new code. Unfortunately, he failed to actually clean the place properly. The carpets were unvacuumed and dirty. The house emanated a stale tobacco smell & was very poorly maintained. Damp was causing paint to peel on the walls; neither bath had a plug so both were useless. The "master bath" cold faucet was inoperable; the door fell off the medicine cabinet when my wife opened it; rooms were sparsely & cheaply furnished; door fittings were broken; blackout shades for the master were leaning in the laundry closet. Upstairs radiators didn't work. Heated towel bars dripped onto the toilet tissue holders. The whole house needs repairs & repainting & either a serious cleaning or replacement of the carpets. TV is accessed by a rather complicated system which is not user friendly; the supplied internet access codes failed to work. We listed all these issues in both phone calls & email & the only response we had was that someone, in our absence, delivered a requested ironing board & we were sent a reply email saying that our complaints were being referred to a "regional manager." After which....nothing! This property is anything but luxurious as advertised, & the managers, "Stay Beyond" were not at all helpful in remedying our problems other than when we returned to the house after dinner to find that our door access code was inoperable & we had to find a restaurant with internet in order to call & obtain a new code. The photos on the website are highly misleading as is the description. The one redeeming feature & the reason we award 1 star rather than 0 is the location, which is great, near restaurants, shopping, museums. This house has so much potential, sadly unfulfilled. We could not possibly recommend this property to anyone who shares our understanding of the words, "incredible" or "luxury." The only incredible thing about it is the misuse of the word luxury!!! Our disappointment with the contrast between the description & the actuality will make us significantly more skeptical about VRBO in the future.
