About this cottage rental

Located in Gimli, this lovely cottage for $161 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Harbourview House is right on the lake, just a few blocks south of the Gimli Harbour. Enjoy the lake while on the deck with bar-b-que and a screened-in sitting area. The large sun room and living room also overlook the lake. We have a fully equiped kitchen and dining area. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, large dressing room, and fireplace. The other two other bedrooms on the main floor have a queen and two single beds. Downstairs, there is a bar and dancefloor, a rec room and an exercise room with sauna. Enjoy a stroll along the lake to the marina and pier and check out the restaurants and shopping area. There is a small-town movie theatre, live theatre, art gallery, museum and lots of history in this small Icelandic fishing village. Other activities include boating, kayaking, swimming, bowling, horseback riding, cycling, and golfing. You may also wish to check out our Gingerbread House which is located on 1st Avenue, just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour. Summer activities: All-terrain vehicles, Fishing, Hunting, Rollerblading, Theatre, Archery, Golf, Kayaking, Sea-Dooing, Water skiing, Bicycle path, Hiking, Motor boat, Tennis, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Horseback riding and Public beach. Winter activities: All-terrain vehicles, Hockey rink, Ice fishing, Sleigh ride, Snowshoeing, Cross-country skiing, Horseback riding, Ice skating, Snowmobiling and Tobogganing.

We all had a wonderful time. The place felt like home. Laid back and lovely. True relaxation atmosphere. Lots of space. Right on the beautiful lake and minutes to walk to Gimli’s many shops and actives and a gorgeous pier.

Great location plenty of room. Kitchen nice but older, living room sitting room great. Bedrooms comfortable but night stands would be nice in two . Veranda furniture needs to be replaced. A run thru by owner to repair wear is needed We would stay here again now that we're prepared.

Host did not meet us and when we finally got in contact with him he said he did not have a reservation for our dates. Before contacting the host his brother allowed us access to the building and the mattress was totally soiled, dirty linen all over the floors, bathroom was extremely dirty, furniture was old, and soiled. none of the windows opened, kitchen was a mess . I can go on for ever.

Great location as a base camp for ice fishing on Lake Winnipeg. 5 guys had plenty of space and really liked being in the town of Gimli.

The cottage has charm, the furniture had some very interesting pieces and lots of comfy chairs. Great selection of books and games. The kitchen had everything we needed and all the appliances worked well. The location combined the beauty of sitting by the water and enjoying peace and quiet, to being just a few minute walk away to get to town or walk on the pier or beach. Local groceries stores were handy as well. Wifi and Cable worked. The view was wonderful, the night sky was bright with stars.
