Renovated Bungalo Village Cottage on Crystal-Clear Newfound Lake
About this house rental
Located in Newfound Lake, this attractive house for $146 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. We welcome you to The Knoll Inn³, a newly-renovated front-row cottage at Newfound Sands (formerly known as Bungalo Village). Wake to the sound of loons on the water and watch the fog lift from the lake as you sip coffee on the front porch. Then grab a beach chair and head to Cummings Beach just steps from the cottage to enjoy some fun in the sun. In the evening, head out to enjoy a sunset meal at the Ledge Water Steak House or head on over to Kathleen's Cottage, voted best Irish Pub in NH, all within a few minutes from the cottage. The cabin has many modern updates including a galley kitchen with apartment sized oven and refrigerator, sliding vinyl windows, electric fireplace and a tiled shower. The cottage comes equipped with a queen bed and folding futon, as well as a HD TV, and smart Blu-Ray/DVD player with provided Netflix account. There is no cable TV. This is a traditional "housekeeping cottage", where guests provide their own linens (including blankets, towels, and pillows), paper products, and soaps. There is a fabulous local market (Shacketts) a half mile walk or drive along the lake that offers all essentials as well as meat and seafood for the grill, beer & wine, and locally-famous homemade donuts (fresh and warm at 8 am each morning--yum!). We rent from Saturday to Saturday during the summer season. The property was clean and equipped with fans

This home is in an Awesome little community with one of the best views. We can’t wait to come back next year!

The Cottage was Cute and Quaint & My Wife was pleased with the Fireplace Heater that warmed up the little nest really nicely and kept it comfortable all of the stay. The classic DVD collection was a nice little bonus and We enjoyed a few while waiting for the sun to show up. We'll the Sun never did but We still enjoyed our time there very much . We definitely plan on coming back for a stay with some sunshine and warmth the next time . Thank you so much , Stephen & Shannie

We have been to this village of cabins as kids and were very excited to find some for rent. We arrived to find the same peace and tranquility I experienced as a child. Its a beautiful place.
We asked the owners to have the cabin professionally cleaned prior to our arrival. We paid extra for it. Upon our arrival we found coffee cups that had dried coffee in the bottom, blood on the mattress cover and pots under the kitchen sink and toilet tank to catch drips. The one box fan had a short in the switch and the one kitchen chair has been broken for years and apparently repaired by a tenant several years ago according to reviews. We discussed this with the owners and they reimbursed us for the lack of cleaning.
That being said.....I give this 5 stars for ambiance but 1 star for cleanliness. I honestly feel the owners need to come up more often to make sure the place is kept clean, not once a year as some people reported.

We also had a lot of problems with the tv. Most of the time, service of any kind was unavailable. My husband was also disappointed that there was no local fishing. Also, the wood chairs inside were in poor condition. We actually had to glue one of them because the back pulled out of the seat.
Now the positive: the unit was very clean, the location was perfect, and we would visit again, just not THAT unit. We also think their should be a/c available. We left early, because the temperature was going to be in the 90's. Saturday and Sunday (25th and 26th of June) were extremely warm, and sleeping was difficult.

Perfect size and location
I was traveling by myself and this cottage was the perfect fit. Close to all the activities but quiet enough when you wanted to get away. Clean, comfortable, and very well equipped for a small space. Front porch with a cold beer watching the sunset was a great way to end the day.

Convenient location with beautiful lake view! Had everything needed for NH marathon weekend. Upon arrival one of the kitchen table chairs was broken and the floor lamp switch didn’t work but for the two us we got by. Shower could definately been cleaner and kitchen counter as well. Didn’t take away from our stay!

The view and the location is amazing and the cottage is nice but small . We did enjoy the bonding.. The swimming and the property was very nice. I wish there would have been AC(some times needed). It was so peaceful and the views were beautiful every day. I want to thank the Nolans for sharing their cottage with us. Take care:)

The lake was perfect But unfortunately we ended up staying during I haeat wave We stayed in the lake for the day but at night we were completely miserable because of the heat we had 4 fans going and it still did not help my husband had a hard time were he has chf and me with asthma was not a good thing but other than that it was absolutely wonderful we ended up going home A-day early but we did book next because my husband loves it there he went as a child and his daughter got married there so next we hope it will be better .

On arrival the area is really nice. You follow some basic instructions and get the key. The cabin itself is adorable and in a beautiful location. Once we got inside we found the trash can in the bathroom full with some pretty gross things. There was trash left around the skirting of the bed and the mattress pad on the bed was so gross we actually just removed it and set aside while we stayed. The door had issues locking and unlocking..it was a bit tricky. There is no AC so we were left with 3 or four fans. One didn’t work at all and two were very small. It definitely was hot during our stay it got in the 90s. I get it’s a cabin and the price was reasonable but we did expect more cleanliness at least. Needless to say we left it better than when we arrived so hope it’s better for the next round of people.

A couple nights at Newfound Lake
The place was exactly as described. It was very clean and cozy with beautiful water views and steps to Cummings beach. We spent our days kayaking on the lake and visiting Wellington Park just up the street from the cottage.

Absolutely Perfect
This was our second stay at this property and it was just as perfect as the first time. Exactly what was needed for a weekend away from the city. Beautiful views, the perfect porch for sitting, access to swim, close to town. Quiet at night. And all the amenities one could need. Can’t wait to return (hopefully next year)
