Peaceful cottage in Alachua Florida on 20 acres of oak forest. Located on the oldest road in FL! Surrounded by beautiful oak trees and perfect for a nature get away. Close to University of Florida, many nature trails and springs, Temple of the Universe, and historic towns. The cottage has hard wood floors with huge windows.The uniqueness of this space is its location. It is embedded in an oak forest on a quiet road. No street nights, no car sounds, no close-by neighbors. It is beautifully peaceful and quiet. Deer roam the land as well as many armadillo, bunnies, squirrels, and even some gopher turtles. Owls can be heard at night and other birds during the day.

We wanted a little quiet, tucked away place that would facilitate going to. Wedding in Gainesville and a trip to Ginnie springs. This fit that agenda perfectly.

We loved our stay in this cottage! It was incredibly peaceful and had everything we needed. It's even a little bigger than I'd expected with a separate room for the king bed and one single bed. Susan was wonderful to communicate with and I hope to come back one day.

Property was quiet and peaceful place to stay. Shower is small and water pressure is low and has a faint smell was the only complaint.

The cottage was very clean. It was very quiet. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Check in was easy. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was just as advertised.
