Nestled at the bottom of a beautiful flower garden and manicured property, this coach house overlooks the water and Mortimer Spit. It’s a lovely location and a very comfortable accommodation.

This is an adorable, cozy and well appointed coach house. The bed is super comfortable. The wood burning fireplace is ideal for taking the chill off the odd cool night, while also adding a romantic touch - the supplied wood and kindling was appreciated. West facing views over the bay served up wonderful evening sunsets as well as interesting views of the odd passing boat or kayaker from the deck with morning coffees. Pender Island is well set up for exploring with numerous marked beach access trails or viewpoints. A lot of thought and care has gone into the making of this property, which only adds to the enjoyment. Jane and Dennis are wonderful hosts. We could easily have stayed longer and look forward to returning in the near future.

My wife and I just completed a wonderful week at a superb cottage on Pender Island. Location : adjacent to the house of our hosts, the cottage is located at the very beginning of South Pender Island, minutes away from grocery and other stores and from walking and hiking trails. Cottage: very private with all the equipment and amenities one needs (kitchen has all for cooking, excellent wireless, bluetooth music, TV, BBQ); there is nice patio on the main floor and a balcone on the bedroom floor , both facing the ocean...view is unparalleled, all in a peaceful and calm environment. Our hosts were simply gracious and fantastic: warm welcome, discrete and dealt promptly with our few questions/requests: no doubt that they are an important positive element of our stay. The property is well organized to ease up the daily housekeeping functions. On the island we visited a dear friend who knew exactly where we were staying and who did mentioned that this cottage was one of the best accommodations on the island, if not the best one...this says it all! Peaceful and restful stay in a cosy and attractive cottage surrounded by nature and the ocean: one cannot wish better than that....Highly recommended by m y wife and I.

My wife and I just spend a week at this property and it was incredibile. The hosts were very nice and the property was beautiful. You could spend the entire week just sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We most morings watching the otters, seals, racoons (much to our hosts dismay), herons, kingfishers, ravens, etc. I would highly recommend this place.

Our hosts made us feel welcome and every attention to detail was considered for our comfortable stay. We were given plenty of information about the Island, lots of firewood for the lovely fireplace each night and kind assistance with our bike storage. It was very scenic and restful. We highly recommend it.

Jane and Dennis’s Accommodation is fantastic! Your cottage is right on the water so my husband and I brought her kayaks my husband went kayaking four times in the five days that we were there so it was such a beautiful stay I would come back again!

Jane and Dennis are fantastic hosts. This beautiful property is perfectly situated on the island with stunning views of the inlet and all of the varied boat traffic that passes “through“ the island.

A great spot for watching the boats go by, yet not very noisy. Well situated near Mortimer Spit for swimming, launching kayaks, canoes and other boats. Monday morning dog play was great for dog and humans alike. The cottage had all that was needed and hosts were great.

A little piece of paradise at the Cottage on the Cove. Jane and Dennis were wonderful hosts. Friendly and offered invaluable information about the island during my stay. They take very special care of the property. The cove cottage is perfect. A lovely location on the water with a dock, two decks on which to sit and watch the water, the boats and the sunset, and eat meals in the sunshine. A perfectly sized cottage with one bedroom upstairs with small deck and a welcoming area downstairs with well equipped kitchen, dining room and sitting area. Well-planned layout of the cottage with lots of windows for great light and views from morning to night. Absolutely loved my stay and it was hard to leave. Look fowrad to the next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique property and would recommend it to friends. Great location and views set in a park like setting. What's not to like.

Love this property. It is quiet , restful, and perfectly located. We can watch boat activity including lots of kayaks, dogs at the beach , and listen to the birds all from the two front decks. We kayaked from the beach below us and swam at Mortimer Spit. Very romantic getaway!

What a great place to get away from the hustle of the city. The Cottage was modern yet quaint and had fantastic views of the water. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and having the dock to walk down to was great. We'll bring our Kayaks next time.

Just as lovely as pictures depicted. So light and airy with many windows overlooking the water and beautiful landscape. Quiet and peaceful. Cottage had all the amenities you could want. Owners very helpful, professional and personable. This cottage is a gem!

We had a great weeklong stay at this clean and comfortable cottage. The location and garden are charming with views of Mortimer spit, and the comings and goings of boats through “The Cut”. Our hosts were gracious and the cottage felt very private, despite the proximity of the main residence. We even had a treat waiting for us on arrival for our special occasion. Great place for a romantic couple getaway!

Jane and Dennis have a lovely cottage with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck for morning coffee or an afternoon or evening glass of wine. The cottage is centrally located for easy access to anywhere on the Island.

This is a beautiful property in the perfect location! Cottage was very clean and had everything necessary for a wonderful vacation. The ocean views from the two outdoor patios are as fantastic as we’ve seen anywhere in the world. The gardens are beautiful and lead down to a dock right out into the ocean. Jane & Dennis were wonderful hosts and very helpful in every way. We would highly recommend this property for a romantic getaway or a relaxing vacation.

Excellent property with outstanding views. Highly recommended if you want an escape from the bustle of the city

Everything was great about this property. There was pretty nice access for our kayaks, however I don't remember reading about the steep stairs/bank to get them to and from the water. The oyster shells will scratch your boat. There is a provincial park really close which makes access a little easier. Quite a few stairs to the front door as well. The tap water tastes better if it is chilled first (couldn't find a pitcher however). The place is near a bridge but surprisingly quiet.
