Great value, super clean, a block from the beach!

Great value for everything! Very well located a block from the beach with free parking onsite, easy virtual check in (you are given a code to get into your room), very clean, very comfy beds, well fitted out with TV/mini fridge/microwave, and full kitchen. Stayed there with friends over New Year's Eve weekend. Would definitely book here again/recommend to others. Loved being at the beach off-season when almost no one was there. Peaceful and quiet. Loved the funky '60s retro feel of Wildwood Crest!

Friends and I specifically picked this place because it said it had a full kitchen and we wanted to cook a big New Year's dinner. The kitchen was overall quite good (big fridge, stove, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery, various pots/pans, cups, glasses, plates) but lacked some basic items: a cutting board and wine key/bottle opener. Some cooking oil and basic spices (salt, pepper) would have been helpful as well. Aluminum foil and plastic wrap would have been a nice touch as well. Luckily we foresaw the possible need for cooking oil and spices and brought some along with us.

Clean and nice

When booked I asked if beach/ocean front from room. It had a parking lot I front then the beach/ocean. When booking looked like the room had a bedroom and then another room but it was all one.

Problème avec la télévision et il n'y avait pas moyen de couper la soufflerie dirigée sur le lit sur l'air climatisé à moins de le fermer complètement. Aussi quand nous le coupions, on manquait d'air dans la chambre. Les fenêtres ne pouvant être ouvertes, l nous fallait ouvrir la porte pour avoir de l'air.

We had an amazing time!

Staff was very friendly. Other guests were very friendly. The pool was so nice, my kids had a blast. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the comfort and relaxation we felt when we entered the room. The beds were comfortable. The fridge was perfect and the room itself had plenty of space. Thank you for a pleasant stay. We will be back.

The door combination was a little tricky to figure out. Otherwise, perfect stay.

Superb

We loved the Beach House! Newly renovated motel right in Wildwood across the street from the boardwalk. Pool was clean, and they even had outdoor showers to rinse the sand off. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with. Only downside was the parking spots were waaay too small. They let us park across the street in another parking lot but wish we could have parked right in their lot. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional

The property was in the center of it all- the start of the boardwalk, beach, stores, restaurants. It was very convenient especially when traveling with kids. The rooms were super clean and offered room cleaning daily which was a major plus. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My family and I had a great experience and we’d definitely come here again.

Excellent, updated rooms with nice kitchenette & very clean! Plus, my kids loved their pool!

The staff was very accommodating (I requested an hour early check in), friendly & helpful (the front desk suggested an excellent restaurant to dine at). Plus, it was very clean, free parking throughout your stay & the boardwalk & ocean were just across the street (convenient location).

Tooth in the dresser drawer, loud noises all night

The housekeeping lady must live in on the property. That isn’t the issue. The issue was that she was drinking a full bottle of 99 Bananas while fighting with someone all night. We found a tooth in the dresser drawer with the root still attached. Guessing they don’t wipe down anything. The whole place was just run down. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Would have expected this hotel to charge $60 a night at most.

Summer getaway

The convenience of the beach in walking distance and the balcony.

They had a pool and it was right next to the beach and I didn’t have to cross the street to get there😊😊

Nice location but it needs alot of work and repairs.

The location was great. the owner was very nice and accommodating. he let us have a late check out which helped a lot.

The beds were so uncomfortable. the shower curtain was hanging on by 3 hooks. I couldn't open the blinds because they would fall down. The pool was freezing.

The manager

We paid for 2 nights but we only lasted 1. This motel room was the worst motel room I have ever stayed in my life. Aside from being so small there was barely room to get to the bathroom walking around the bed it was filthy, there was mold and there was rust. The beds only had top sheets so when we slept the sheet kept coming off and there was a plastic sheet underneath so we were laying on plastic. The beds were rock hard like boards. My daughter was shocked when she tried to charge her phone and it shorted out the phone charger. We told the manager the tv was not working and he tried to fix it, left and never came back. The kitchenette was a Petri dish of rust, mold and God knows what else so we put nothing in there. The dresser drawers were broken and fell out on my foot. The place is literally duct taped together. There are people who live there and let their kids play in the pool all day, unsupervised. One kid kept trying to hit me in the head with a plastic bat while swimming in the pool until I grabbed the bat from him. I paid almost $500 to stay here for two nights and only got to stay a single night. We got nothing returned back to us and we should have. Nice manager or not we will never stay here again.

We requested a ground floor room since we have a Special Needs child, and the owner went out of his way to make that happen, very gracious.

The location was great but it is in need of some serious remodeling: and the staff was amazing and caring.

The rooms are in need of some serious remodeling along with some serious cleaning, the rooms smelt musty, window was broken, the cabinets in the kitchen was broken off the wall and just sitting in two mini fridges, just dirt everywhere, I couldn’t walk on the floor without filling like filth, the tub was clogged, the list goes on the price I paid was not worth the stay at all.

The owner is very nice. The pool is big and you can swim very late.

Badly in need of updating. Needs completely redone. Nothing good about room.
