This freestanding Jackson Hole Teton Village Granite Ridge house at 7602 Obsidian Rd, featured at the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce vacation rentals, is meticulously maintained and personally managed by its private owner. This is a freestanding bilevel luxury log home at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski mountain near the Four Seasons with a private surface ski tow to the lower Teewinot ski run. Privately nestled among mature pines and aspens in a tranquil elevated park like setting at 7602 Obsidian Road on prestigious Granite Ridge, this idyllic all season mountain retreat offers stunning village, ski mountain and valley views, sunny interiors, and quiet evenings only 150 level yards walking on Obsidian Rd to a private Jackson Hole Resort Mountain ski tow at Granite Loop Rd, 350 yards to the Four Seasons, and a short walk to Teton Village restaurants, convenience stores, shops, post office, and a gas station. Teton Village is 2 miles from the Grand Teton Nat'l Park south entrance, 12 miles from Jackson town, 22 miles from Jackson Airport, and 70 miles from Yellowstone National Park south entrance. Elegantly furnished to accommodate up to eight guests, the home features custom mountain furniture, warm western decor, an outdoor sun deck with a six person dining set and gas grill during the summer and early fall, an all season outdoor hot tub, a laundry room, a heated one car closed garage furnished as a change area, and an outdoor parking space for a second car. We absolutely loved this amazing cabin. Everything was as described if not better. Location cannot be beat, as it’s located right next to a tow rope that takes you down to Teewinot and Bridger/Sweetwater gondola. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful home with great access to the mountain. Simply walk down the road and catch the surface T-Bar to the mountain. Great mainfloor TV w/airplay for music. Superb views. Great access to the hot tub from both basement bedrooms. Frank was proactive and checked in to make sure all was OK. I would book again.

Just what we wanted. This cabin was clean and very spacious. Great place to come back to after visiting the parks. Short drive to Jackson for restaurants and shops. Also has a few things in the village. Having a garage was a great bonus. Would definitely stay here again. Frank was great.

This cabin was outstanding! It was professionally decorated, spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. And the view of the Tetons from the window was absolutely gorgeous. You can walk to Teton Village from the cabin where there was plenty of activities and dining options. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

What an amazing time! Outside the window we saw a moose and like, 6 deer! Everything was spotless and clearly labeled. It really made me rethink my organizational skills… or lack thereof. 😅 All in all it was an amazing experience from beginning to end and we can’t wait to go back. 😃

Lovely house and great location. But, NOTHING is provided. You will need to buy your own soap, shampoo, condiments, spices, salt, pepper, etc. It is offensively cheap considering the massive amount they charge daily.

Stunning cabin situated right by the Four Seasons/Teewinot chair. Our family converged there for several nights of fun and skiing and loved this property. Very well appointed and gorgeous views. Would love to visit again!

The view from the living room window is just as beautiful as the pictures, if not more so. We loved soaking in the hot tub overlooking the resort after a day of skiing and snowboarding. Location is perfect for a near ski in/ski out. Very easy to come and go from the slopes. House is well stocked and well taken care of. Beds were comfortable, and the house had nice amenities like a separate heat source for the main bathroom. Frank is a very responsive host. One thing to note - which may be obvious from the listing, but which I didn’t pick up on - is that the third bedroom is a loft that is above the kitchen and is private but not fully enclosed. Not a problem for us because it was just immediate family, but might not be ideal for other groups. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time! Beautiful views! Frank was very attentive. Beds were comfortable. Easy access to village and lifts. We skied down to the T bar every morning and hiked back to the cabin at night. Hot tub was nice after skiing with great views. We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived and notice a security breach. Several windows were not locked and to make matters worse the locks were removed permanently. This gave us an useasy feeling since we have children and there were no safe to lock our belongings. The mattresses in the bedrooms were so uncomfortable our backs including our teenage kids were in so much pain by the end of our stay. The trash bin outside was never picked up during the week we were there. There is also no 1 condiment in the place- no even salt or pepper. I voiced our issuers to the owner and he apologized and even offered us a credit, but never kept his word and instead try to accuse us of not leaving the property clean. I did all the laundry washed and loaded all the dishes and left it for only to have bed cloths changed. I have amazing reviews as we stay at lots of rentals. He is not a man of his word and I now know why he asked me several times to book directly through him and not on the site because he did not want me to have this opportunity to tell people the honest truth. We paid a lot of money to stay here and for all the inconveniences and broken backs I would just find other accommodations. And just know when he is offering you a discount to book through him it’s so you cannot leave a bad review and I promise you will want to!

We came to JH for a week and had the pleasure of staying at Granite Ridge. The house is exactly as it is pictured. It was clean and bright and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances—anything you could possibly need! The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the bathrooms as well. Frank was attentive to all questions immediately. The porch was our favorite spot, for coffee, reading, cards and dinner! Thank you, we hope to be back soon!

We had a great time in Jackson Hole. Frank’s place was amazing! The descriptions were very accurate and the place had all the comforts of home. It was clean and very well organized. It was perfect for our family of 5. We will certainly stay there again if and when we return to the area.

Our family of six had an amazing stay here. Short walk downhill to Teton Village. We drove multiple days to Grand Teton park. So the location was fabulous.
Beautiful view from family room. Bed was comfy. Kids enjoyed the uniqueness of sleeping in the loft.

The unit was impeccable and beautiful. The accommodations were five stars. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedding and towels were well appointed, comfortable, and plush. The location to the ski hill was steps away and downtown Jackson a short drive. We especially liked the heated garage to store our equipment. Frank checked in on us to make sure we were fine and had no issues. We are already looking for another date to come and spend the summer at Frank’s place. Would highly recommend the unit.

This property truly met our needs for a family ski week at Jackson Hole. The cabin is located a short walk from Teton Village / ski lift area.
The property was VERY well equipped ... especially in the kitchen. Most anything that you could need was well organized and available. Plenty of kitchen ware / utensils (we don't regularly see this in a rental home), towels, etc.
The 'cabin' was VERY clean upon our arrival. The host provides very good / concise instructions on-site. I cannot express how easy it was to unpack and get started in this home ... seems easy, but not a realistic expectation for us whom frequently rent a vacation home.
I overly recommend this home for your future stay in Teton Village!
