Great place to stay in Anza Borrego, close to town and all the good hiking trails in the Park including Fonts Point and The Slot. Very quiet and spacious....definitely would stay there again.

This is a perfect location for a quiet getaway. The home is very comfortable. Outdoor patio is relaxing while looking west towards the mountain range. The east balcony offered many beautiful sunrises! The home did not lack anything, and I most likely will be back again.

This place is a good location for doing bike rides around Borrego. Please have plenty of space and was very comfortable.

A very unique and cool house, modern, open to nature. The loft with TV and balcony for viewing the sunrise The enclosed backyard and patio for lunches and stargazing to the S, W, N. Everything you need to unwind, a home base for explorations.

The house is as pictured and is quite private. Jodie, the property manager was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests. Bring your own ice and filtered water, as the refrigerator is not hooked up to the water line. It’s a rather odd layout, with the only house access to the rear yard through the master bedroom. These things did not impact our stay, and we enjoyed the peace, quiet and privacy. Everything worked well, plumbing, electrical, heating systems. Bedrooms are conveniently located away from each other, and the upstairs tv room/library is a definite plus.

The house is as advertised. We love the hay bale construction and the cat trees. The only thing that l thought would be nice if there were a broom and dust pan in the laundry room for us to use. And more towels in the linen closet. If we ever need to get a VRBO. In Borrego again this property will be 1st on our list. Mark responded promptly when l text him

We loved our 2-day stay at Jodie and Mark's home. The location is fantastic--great landscape and views of the mountains and the valley. The property is very cozy and comfortable. Mark and Jodie are super responsive and so prompt! Mark even offered to mail my book and glasses- that is incredibly kind! We are so grateful for this opportunity to have stayed here and we hope to return.

Property was conveniently located and well supplied with a beautiful back terrace. We did have an issue getting the door to unlock. After several tries we were able to get in without calling for help, however this shouldn't be this difficult.

We appreciated the classic thick walled adobe structure, the selection of pottery and art, and the back patio plantings - and the views day and night (O the desert stars)!! Clean, well appointed kitchen (no dishwasher, but that seems like a good a water conservation choice) Close to town yet we were greeted by quail, hummingbirds, hawks, and jackrabbits every day. Owners were responsive and the property was clean and well maintained.

The house was perfectly located close enough to town to take advantage of takeout from local restaurants and far enough away that you also felt the peacefulness of being away from it all. House was clean and came with everything you need for a nice stay. Plenty of room for a couple of families and a great balcony to watch sunrises. Will definitely have to return.

We loved the home and both the humans and our cat were very comfortable. You feel out in the desert, while still enjoying the safe feel of a neighborhood. The backyard is an oasis, especially in the morning. And both the upstairs patio and backyard are perfect for a night of stargazing. We've stayed here before and liked it enough to come back... that should give you an idea :)

We really felt at home here. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent views from the house front and back. What can we say? It's exactly what we wanted in terms of a quiet retreat yet close to food and shopping. A big enough house to feel spacious but not so big that its overwhelming. Definitely felt welcomed as a guest.

This is a very elegant, modern home with outstanding views on all sides of the surrounding desert and mountain landscapes. It sits on a quiet street with few homes nearby making it ideal for privacy and night sky watching as well. The hostess was very responsive to our questions and requests by text and was flexible to let us stay a bit longer on the last day. The pictures of the house do not do enough justice to its high quality. Thank You!
