The house was extremely well furnished and clean. Good location for accessing activities and services. Quiet at night for good sleeping. This location was easy to find and allowed the entire family to communicate with each other. It was liked by all.

Picked location near Northgate to Yellowstone and other activities. Gate was closed in misunderstanding on our part and Eleanor was only too accommodating adjusting our dates so we could leave early to camp in Yellowstone.

Paradise
We had an amazing stay at Elanor's rental in the paradise Valley. It comfortably fit our family, was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, and was in a great location. Elanor was the perfect host. She didn't hover, communicated promptly, and kept us up informed of anything important. It was a great stay!

Amazing
Everything was wonderful and as comfortable as we had hoped for when we booked or stay. Mrs. Eleanor was an amazing host and we felt almost like family just speaking with her even though she was usually working hard taking care of her amazing property. Beautiful views from the front porch and the house was adequately stocked to cook most anything which we did a lot of while we were there. I would book again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful guest home
My Dad, brother and I had a family event in Livingston and I was lucky enough to come across this property and book it. It was just as described. It's absolutely charming and very well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch with the view of the mountains. One evening, two deer strolled up to within feet of us on the porch! The location was great -- a few minutes to my Aunt's house and about 40 minutes to the North entrance of Yellowstone. Eleanor was a lovely hostess. She promptly replied to my questions before our stay and gave us good recommendations. Thanks, Eleanor, for sharing your guest home with us!

We are three senior women who travel together a few times a year and our favorite destinations include scenery and wildlife viewing. Eleanor is a marvelous host and this guest house was perfect for us. She greeted us upon our arrival and answered texts morning and evening when we had questions.
The guest house is quite large with three bedrooms, a large and well-stocked kitchen, dining table for at least six, spacious living room and a washer and dryer. There were ample linens included as well as extras we don't often find - shampoo, shower gel, lotion, condiments and spices, etc.
It was unseasonably hot during the time we stayed but strategic use of open windows and fans in the cool morning and evening hours and closing the house up during the day kept us cool and comfortable.
The view of the Beartooth Mountains and the proximity to the Yellowstone River were ideal. It is about a 30 mile easy drive to the North Entrance to Yellowstone and we were able to start our wildlife viewing along the road before we even reached the park, spotting elk, antelope and deer. One morning a fox scampered across the front yard of the guest house and another morning two deer sauntered by.

I left part of my heart in Montana...
How do I even begin to put words to the perfection of this property and it's hostess Eleanor? The guest house exceeded our hopes and expectations in every way. It was beautiful, peaceful, and extremely and well-furnished. She thought of everything and was so kind and gracious! No one in our family wanted to leave. This was the best vacation rental property we have ever stayed in and hope to have a reason to return in the future.

Everything was very clean and neat. House was incredibly well-stocked and comfortable. We loved the location and ease of access. The only thing missing is a fireplace and window views from seating areas. Highly recommend.

We booked the house with Eleanor and she was very sweet. The house was very well stocked and the perfect location for what we wanted to do and even got to bring our four legged friend. He enjoyed riding in the car with us sightseeing Yellowstone, Big Sky and just the breathtaking sights Montana has to offer. The weather got a little windy and cold but we made the best of our time that week and our son enjoyed fly fishing on the Yellowstone. Thank you so much Eleanor for sharing your house with us this week.

If you are looking for a quiet retreat close to Yellowstone National Park, this is the place with the best landlord we have ever had in all our years using VRBO properties, this is it. Wonderfully provisioned, spacious, and comfortable!! We all loved it. I will recommend this property to our friends.

5A Guest House
We were beyond happy with our stay here. The guest house is much nicer than the pictures showed, which is usually the other way around! The house is fully and thoughtfully stocked up with everything you would need if you were traveling with very little. It was 30 min from Yellowstone north gate, lots of fishing access along that stretch of 89, and a short drive to Livingston. I highly recommend this place!

Paradise indeed!
This ranch style guest home is surrounded by the beautiful mountains. Well kept, cleaned, stocked and organized. Eleanor, has thought of and provided every amenity you can think of. The house is spotless.
Central location, short drive to the grocery stores and gas stations. Yellowstone entrance is approximately 30 min from the house. Montana trails are less than 10-15 minutes away. The Yellowstone river is a stones throw away. We really enjoyed our stay in Montana. We are counting the days until we can return.

By far one of the nicest homes we have stayed in
Eleanor was very plesant to deal with and does everything she can to make sure you have a plesant stay. Home was impeccably clean and comfortable. This home is probably the best equipped that I have ever stayed in you name it and it is there for your use. Very good location not far from Yellowstone stores and resturants. Thanks for helping to make our vacation very enjoyable. Larry

Montana Christmas Memories
Our family of 7 (2 adults, 5 kids) traveled from California to spend Christmas in Montana/Yellowstone. We originally booked a different house through VRBO, but upon arrival the first night, we found the place to be so dirty that we couldn't stay there. We were in panic mode...how could we tell our 5 kids that Christmas would be spent in a hotel??!! The next day I found O'Carroll's Guest House on VRBO and sent a message to the owner with our plight. Eleanor called me within 20 minutes!! It was two days before Christmas and she was willing to get the house ready for us. What an absolute miracle to find an available house at the last minute and an owner so kind and understanding to our situation. Eleanor was the absolute best! She even brought us a Christmas tree and decorations for the kids to hang. The house was spotlessly clean! The house was warm and cozy! The kitchen had every thing I needed to cook Christmas dinner! The location was perfect with gorgeous views. Yellowstone in the winter took our breath away. We saw gray wolves, black wolves, elk, bison, bald eagles, moose and bighorn sheep. What could have turned out bad, turned out so wonderful and so many great memories were made. I can't say enough positive things about Eleanor and her guest house. Next time we come to Yellowstone, we will stay in her guest house again!

Pictures Don't Do It Justice-A Treasure!
This place was perfect for our family. It was cozy, bright, well-decorated, VERY clean, and definitely a home away from home. It had all of the amenities we could possibly need- kitchen fully-stocked with pots and pans, dishes, utensils, Crock Pot, blender, a grill, toasters, towels, dish soap, etc...for those who (like us) want to cook all meals there, and a table with room for six as well as a little pub height table with stools if you'd need room for extras. (Note that Livingston has a very nice Albertson's grocery store which is where we stocked up.) There is a full-sized fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, all the conveniences of home. The bathroom amenities are lovely as well, soft towels, even soap and shampoo. The master bedroom and bath are very roomy and like a retreat, guestroom 1 is set up nicely for two people, and guestroom 2 sleeps two (trundle bed) children or small adults comfortably. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, which is also set up nicely and for a family, with comfy seating. One of our favorite places to be early in the morning before heading to Yellowstone (a short 35 mile drive from the house) and late afternoon/evening after returning was the expansive front porch, with a spectacular view of the Absaroka mountains. Plenty of seating for all six of us and so relaxing. The location of the house is perfect, too. We did go out to eat on our last night and highly recommend Follow Yer Nose BBQ in Emigrant just a little ways down the road. Fantastic food, friendly funny people, great atmosphere, and they had an extremely talented bluegrass band playing, which we enjoyed very much. We have only a few regrets, one is that we didn't get to stay longer, and the other is that we didn't get to visit more with our charming host, Eleanor. She was so very accommodating and attentive. Eleanor, thanks so much for sharing your property with others and allowing them to feel like they they are "home" while away from home. It was truly a pleasure to not only stay there but to meet you as well. God bless you and I hope one day we get to meet again! <><

Fake damage claims
Although the property is nice, we had an absolutely horrendous experience with the owner. We should have been more mistrustful, in retrospect there were signs.
When we arrived the owner did not answer the phone while we were waiting in front of the property. After a while the owner did take the phone and say "stop calling me" then hung up.
We eventually resolved to go to the owner house and knock on the door, where she indicated to go directly in the guest house, no walk-in necessary (another red flag ...).
The stay was globally correct, however a number of small things are broken / damaged, but nothing major, as you would expect in any habitation (one of the toilet was hard to flush and had to be flush twice, one of the fan chain was missing ...). We did not really pay attention to this until after the stay.
We had to leave in the morning at 5 to catch an early flight so cleaned the whole house the evening before. After getting home, we were astonished to see a claim for damages for $60, for excessive cleaning required (10 hours) and multiple broken items (toilet clogged and tinkered with, fan chain broken). I think that will teach us to trust owners and proceed without walk-in/walk-out.
Long story short, Montana, Paradise Valley and Yellowstone park are incredibly beautiful. If you want a chance to visit them and get your vacation spoiled by false claims, this property is a good choice.

A perfect location and house to see the Bozeman/Livingston area and Yellowstone.
We had a marvelous time staying here. The location was perfect and the house had everything we needed and more. Eleanor, our host is an amazing lady and booking, staying, leaving was all super easy. The place is quite new and only a few had stayed before us. Very, very highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable and homey!
Wish we could have stayed longer! Drove from S Carolina with our Ohio teenage grandchildren to spend time with our Montana son...absolutely perfect location! Morning coffee and evening drinks on the front porch...even during the rain was so relaxing! Eleanor goes above and beyond in providing all of the comforts you could ask for! Can’t think of anything missing! We were all very comfortable!
Close to Yellowstone, easy to go back and forth. Not too touristy!

Great overall experience.
House was beautiful with easy room for six, kitchen was well appointed, mattresses were comfortable, view of mountains was wonderful, and despite road right out front, noise was negligible. We watched sun rise and moon rise over mountains every morning and evening. We had a Bald Eagle as a neighbor everyday. Short, beautiful 30 minute drive to Yellowstone NP NW entrance. Great convenience store 4 miles south with Chico community 5 minutes north. Owner was wonderful and accomodating. There was no AC, but temperatures were comfortable the hottest week of the year. There is a swamp cooler available, but we did not use it. This was the first leg of a dream vacation and our teenagers are totally spoiled about what to expect from now on.

What a great cabin, well furnished, super clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay.
Our group consisted of two couples and our 15 year old grandson and we had more than enough room for everyone.
Eleanor, our host , was very accommodating and only a phone call away, we look forward to returning to this great place.
Thanks Eleanor, what a great place!!!
