Fully equipped Kitchen, linens, furnished nicely. WiFi and Cable T.V. Located in the heart of Carrabelle. Just A block Away from shopping, fishing, Carrabelle Public Boat Ramp, restaurants, and Harry's Bar and Grill. Just a few extra steps to Fathom's Restaurant, famous for live music and steamed seafood. Only 5 minutes to Carrabelle Beach or 25 Minutes from St. George Island. Fishing is great all year round! This property has a 2 night minimum. Please inquire about monthly rates - PLEASE ASK ABOUT OUR CANCELATION POLICY Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, guided tour boats at Wakulla Springs, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children), Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket.Close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course and Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 hole Play golf course designed by Robert Walker. The Famous Crooked River Grill is just 15 minutes away. Located a little over an hour's drive from Tallahassee, and only thirty minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola. Come and discover the true meaning of "The Forgotten Coast".

We had a great time here. It is in a perfect location. When we got there the a/c was broke and we called and they sent an air conditioning company out and we were cool in no time. The house is decorated so cute and has everything you need there. We will stay again.

Sometimes stove did not get to temp selected. Why was the back yard locked? Would have been nice to park there.

A Block Away is a nice clean and quite place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the shower large, kitchen equipped, back screened in porch was a pleasant surprise and very clean, but a fan or 2 outside on the porch would make it complete.

The house was clean and well stocked. It was so cozy and close to town. We enjoyed walking to LuLu’s bakery for breakfast and the pier at sunset. It was the perfect place to relax before the busy school year.

Grandma’s House~Comfy per the teens
We had a very good stay. The girls said it was like a Grandma’s house. Nice and comfy with all the basics you’d need. The only thing I’d recommend is a privacy fence in the back and a deep clean of the rug in the living room.

Laid back beach trip
We stayed here in late July. The booking process was easy. The staff was very nice and helpful. The home was clean and comfortable. The area wasn't quite what I'd thought as far as location but it's a quaint fishing town. We drove to the public beach access and to SGI. The AC wasn't as cold as we'd like but I understand it's an old unit. The home was also a bit smaller than it appeared in photos. It was just what we needed for a super laid back, go with the flow beach weekend. Overall we enjoyed our trip and would stay again.

Quiet and relaxing!
This was a perfect spot for a get together of high school classmates. We enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. Very small community but very friendly. Call for directions if your GPS doesn't take you to this house, mine didn't and they gladly gave me directions.

Good location for a great price!
We booked rather late this past spring, and got this location for the week of 4th of July. It is About a 25 minute drive to St.Georges island from this apartment, all of which is a gorgeous coastal view ride which does make it seem shorter.
It is Right across the street from the local marina on Carrabelle river, it is nice little fishing village with some interesting history.
We are a family of 5 with 3 daughters 14 & under and this worked for us. The only complication for us were the quiet hours after 9pm. This is because as a duplex the next unit over is occupied. We didn't struggle with it too much, but a couple evenings the kids were excited after a day of fun and we had to remind everyone a couple times about quiet time.
But this was not a big issue for us, we spent most of each day out and about exploring this section of "Old Florida" and loved it. The price and location is perfect to check out St.George's island and Apalachicola to the West, or the Tallahassee area east. We went to Wakulla Springs twice.
If you love seafood there is a fantastic family run market nearby named Millender & Sons Seafood CO. We wanted to bring shrimp home with us and they were friendly and helpful. Took our cooler around the counter and packed our shrimp and iced us up for the road!
Overall a great spot if you need an affordably priced rental to crash at night, after checking out all these parts of the panhandle have to offer.

I was glad to find this place didn’t know was to expect at first but when we arrived and walked in I was glad we rented this place everything was awesome nice people to deal with hope to be going back soon and hope this place is available so we can rent it again

Nice place would stay again
As others have stated it can be hard to initially find but the property manager immediately answered our calls and they were very helpful. The duplex was nice and clean and we enjoyed our stay. If someone wanted to feel very secure this would be the perfect place as the person in the other half of the duplex was a deputy. Carabelle is a wonderful small town and it is an one block walk to the river.

Directions are very confusing to get there. Streets are not marked well. Just find Harry's Bar and the property is on the street behind it!
Make sure you eat at LuLu's Cafe!
