This property is a renovated of an old Istanbul family house, decorated art deco style. There are 2 bedrooms 60sqm each, 2 bathrooms 60sqm each, a living room, kitchen, and 60 sqm terrace. House is a very well designed comfortable family house but the most beautiful thing about the house is its location, it is not within the walking distance of the most monumental buildings of Istanbul - even if maybe the world- like Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar they are in just in the corner. In a few steps, you find yourself in front of the Hagia Sophia, or entrance of the Topkapi Place or at the garden of Blue Mosque. If you are looking for the old soul of Istanbul the history you can find it here. This home is the most well designed private property in this area.

Very good communication. The apartment was ready when we arrived with everything very clean and in good working order. The location is excellent if you plan to visit the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia, five minute walk. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Except for the call to prayer the house was very quite. There are individual air conditioning units on all of the floors, they were very quite and easy to control. The beds were comfortable. We did not prepare any meals but the kitchen seemed to be well set up. There are a lot of stairs, but that is just how it is in this location. The patio upstairs we did not use, it was warm and no shade, no umbrella so not very comfortable. Overall a great spot for our four night visit.

Our family of four enjoyed this property as it was centrally located in Old Town Istanbul, which afforded us the opportunity to walk to both Hagia Sophia and Blue Masque as well as the Grand and Spice Bazaar. Great terrace dining is just minutes away along with access to the boardwalk and boat tour on the Bosphorus. Property itself has lots of stairs all of which are winding from main floor (bedroom + bathroom) to second floor (master bedroom + bathroom) to third floor (kitchen + living room) to fourth floor (rooftop), which our family is fine managing but may be challenging for some. Overall, we are glad we chose this AirB&B as our home base while in Istanbul.

The house is fantastic. Very cozy beds and sheets. Tons of space and excellent bathrooms. Great blackout blinds in all rooms. Oddly very quiet given it's right in the area of all the big sites - but it's on a very nice quiet street right across from the Four Seasons. Only issue was the dishwasher wasn't working and given it was a major holiday they couldn't get it fixed. Communication was a little tricky for a while but sounds like they had a health issue in the family and eventually, someone got back to me about my questions and then was very responsive and helpful. They have a very helpful binder on how to use all the fab coffee makers, etc and recos on local restaurants, etc. I highly recommend. Just make sure the dishwasher is fixed!

Ahmet was a wonderful host. The owner's rug shop is two doors down and we were able to quickly enter the property as well as get quick assistance when we had questions. The location is superb and the unit was clean, nicely updated, and comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, you need to be able to navigate the stairs. We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it. We will definitely stay there again if ever back in Istanbul.

This listing for this property does not do it justice. Four floors so be prepared for stairs. I do not recommend for elderly or children. The stairs are steep but that is the only thing to speak about. Everything else is incredible. The rooms have air conditioning and bathrooms are on the first two floors. The terrace has a wonderful view and is a very nice place to relax. The location is one block from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Traffic is always bad in Istanbul so be warned you will not arrive there quickly. The street below the Vrbo has a lot of nice places to eat. Overall I cannot say enough good things about this property. I hope they will let us come back in the future.

This was a family reunion of 4 adults and an infant. Great property location and conditions. We felt at home with everything we needed at the reach of the hand. If I visit Istanbul again I will definitely stay at this place.

We stayed here with a young child, grandparents, and family. The location by a market, restaurants, major sights, and safety felt great. We did have an issue with connecting to internet for the first couple of days, but with some local help the issue was resolved. The water was very cold, but that may be with any location you stay in the area. We were able to make this a comfortable place to stay, and there was a cleaner who came in once during the 1.5 week stay and was prearranged. I can't suggest and improvements to the availability of blankets, toiletries, etc. Be aware that the staircase is uneven and slippery, so this may be a difficult location for older relatives or small children (the main living quarters are on the top floor). Thank you for the stay!

The apartment is super clean and well appointed - roof deck is an excellent addition. This is rental for those who are self sufficient and not looking for additional support beyond the rental itself, as host communication can be limited. Location to Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi is first rate.

We totally enjoyed our stay! The location is right around the corner from the Four Seasons - location, location, location. The apartment is well equipped and spotless clean. We would most certainly stay here again!

Amazing and clean and beautiful House
The house is really amazing and designed very beautiful host very responsible and very friendly she has office exactly next house. Location of house is very good you can reach anywhere by just two minute walk but house is really cozy and quiet the house has a balcony with amazing view also front of house is a supermarket and a lot of restaurant. The only thing Wi-Fi speed wasn’t really perfect but you know there is a Turkey country. If you want to reserve this house you should know house has a for level with balcony and a lot of stores so maybe it’s not good option for disabled people. The host is amazing friendly helpful respond very fast. Highly recommend it if you want to get the house in the heart of historic Istanbul. The house was very clean also they have a housekeeper is coming and killing the house daily highly recommend it.

Perfect location for relaxation in Istanbul
Great location and apartment. Super easy check in. We’ll equines apartment with AC in every room. Also great recommendation for local seafood dinner. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Magnificent property
This property lived up to our expectations in every way. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. The house is as beautiful as it appears in the photos. Every room is nicely appointed, and the views from the terrace do not disappoint. It made for a lovely and tranquil oasis in this vibrant neighborhood steps away from Istanbul’s greatest attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous house, fabulous location and fabulous host that helped answer all our questions. Best VRBO home we have had yet and we've stayed in some very nice ones. (Since there are 3 flights of stairs with room(s) in each one, it could be difficult for anyone with special needs or disabilities.). I would love to return.
