Nestled in Arorangi District, this lovely house for $166 per night is a great choice for your next break. 3 bedroom private home on 0.3 acres west side of Rarotonga - master bedroom - queen bed; second bedroom - queen bed; third bedroom - 2 single beds - beach/lagoon/sunset side has deck length of the entire house - open and spacious living and dining areas - full kitchen including gas stove, new fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, all necessary kitchen ware and dishes, etc. - step off deck onto grass yard then to white sand beach - beautiful warm lagoon; great for swimming, beach combing, walking to reef at low tide - coconut trees provide afternoon shade - living room and all three bedrooms have ceiling fans - BBQ on deck - bicycle and kayak available (no charge) - clothes washer; outside line for drying - solar hot water during sunny days; electric booster for cloudy/rain days - all windows have bug and security screens

The house was lovely and comfortable; we walked down to the beach for a walk every morning. We could see humpback whales from the porch. The location is terrific, close to amazing snorkel spots and great restaurants. The home's outdoor cats were a great favorite of my daughter! The local property manager dropped by and we had a lovely brief visit with her. We felt right at home. Should we ever find ourselves visiting Rarotonga again, we would absolutely enjoy revisiting this house.

Beautiful veiws from the deck, easy to keep an eye on kids. Good Shallow lagoon for the kids to swim in also. Perfect house for carefree holiday. Everythings there including insect screens and dishwasher.

We had an amazing holiday and the house was a key part in making that happen. Often you are never sure whether the photos you see of a place actually represent what you will get, but in this case, you get even more. The house literally is right on the beach and we had several evenings enjoying drinks either on the deck looking out to the sea, or on the beach in front of the house. All the necessaries are available for you, making life so much easier when you travel. We really enjoyed our stay and can honestly say to anyone considering the place that you will have no regrets about staying there.

Only meters to the Beach! The family loved staying at the house, swam every day as the beach is right there. House suitable for a family or adult group if you want to hang out at the beach and be close to your accom. Great value for money being this close to the beach. House is a little dated but was clean and suited our family group. Terry was great to deal with and prompt with communications, the property manager popped in to say hi, no problems with our stay.

The house was perfect for our needs - the lagoon is quite rocky but there's a little sandy bay right in front of the house that was perfect for cooling off and very safe for our three year olds. Beautiful sunsets and lovely big deck to enjoy them from. Well equipped kitchen with yogurt maker. Great water pressure in the shower. Having a timber lining (like a Lockwood) and very high timber ceilings makes it very hard to maintain and clean those surfaces but the tiles, kitchen, bathroom etc were lovely and clean. The bus system isn't 100% reliable so you need your own transport. Would definitely stay there again if we're lucky enough to return to Rarotonga.

We absolutely loved our stay, communication and instructions from Terry were through and clear, the house is fantastic (a lot like a kiwi 'batch') with beautiful grounds/garden and access straight onto a stunning beach. We had rented a car for our stay and it was great to have transport for getting to snorkeling spots/turtles/waterfall and walks. Tho it is walking distance to nice cafes etc so you could use bikes or busses. The kids adored the chooks, cats and fell in love with a local pup. Such a great stay, thank you Terry!!

Great house! A few quirks - the hot water system broke (probably fixed now) which also meant the water pump ran a lot, but we just turned it off at night - easy work around! Great spot!

Lovely property in a great location. The house has everything you could wish for including the two resident cats Stewie and Leo. A warm welcome from Matariki was a great start to a perfect holiday. We look forward to returning

We are regulars to the Cook Islands and this has become our new favourite place to stay. You can sit on the deck all day and feel you are right on the beach, it couldn’t be closer. The reef is also really close to the shore on this part of the island so the water is very clean and fresh. Lots of local life nearby but also very private spot. The house was super comfortable and had everything you need for a great holiday. Ticks all the boxes plus more.

Great little house with all the necessities to enjoy a quiet holiday. Beware the roosters which start their call very early in the morning. Beautiful outlook onto the water and reef from the large deck, but not the best part of the lagoon to swim in. Good location, half way between Avarua and Muri beach with small shops close by. Great instructions and local information provided by the owner. Overall, a good option for relaxing or being as active as you want.

We booked this house for a family holiday and it was just perfect for my family of 6. The house had everything we needed and the views, amazing. 30 steps to the beautiful water and most of the time we felt like it was all just for us. The owner Terry was easy to communicate with & very accommodating. Kimi the caretaker was wonderful too, very helpful & there for us if we needed anything. I cant recommend this house enough and if your looking for the perfect place to stay & unwind from the world, this is it. It was our own private sanctuary yet walking distance to resorts & shops & only a quick bus trip or car ride into town. Thank you so much for having us Terry & thank you Kimi for looking after us while we were there. We're already looking forward to our next visit :)
