Check in was smooth and effortless. Mr Ortega was also an excellent host, he provided rods and tackle for no extra charge and set us up for success. We limited out on trout 2/3 nights we fished and he even helped out with cleaning the fish. The place is being updated frequently so some of the photos are not perfectly up to date. The place looks even better in person. Location is also incredibly convenient as there’s a bait shop right across the street and a second half a mile down the road. I will be staying there again. I recommend 12/10.

The fishing pier was ideal for fishing with great lighting, live fishing storage, cleaning area and a shaded back yard. The internet connection and room heater were shaky. The kitchen was well supplied and BBQ area was very nice. For a fishing cabin, it suited our purpose.
