We had a great time. The house is perfect for a family and in a perfect location on the island.

Home was very nice and in a quiet neighborhood.

This home was wonderful with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kitchen had an abundance of dinnerware, cooking utensils, bakeware and everything we needed. Super location just next the small airport. Very comfortable neighborhood and seemed very safe with neighbors riding bikes and walking dogs. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

Lovely home and neighborhood

Our family came together to celebrate thanksgiving! The Barr’s property was spacious enough to accommodate all of us. The kitchen was outfitted for all our needs. We made lots of memories and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The house is attractive and comfortable. We didn't have to cook any meals, but the kitchen appeared well equipped. However we did have to buy our own soap for the shower, toilet paper, and detergent for the washing machine.

This property served our every need, was close to amenities and places to visit. It was very clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend others to stay here.

This property is on a pretty small lot, with a lovely landscaped front yard. The driveway is very short and a max of 3 cars allowed. Inside, the kitchen is small, but well appointed. We ate out most of the time, so not sure how the oven/stove functions. I'm guessing it was fine. The kitchen is eat-in with a large table. The den/living room is very nice with a leather sofa and two comfortable chairs. The main bedroom has a king-size bed that was very comfortable. There is also a chaise lounge/fainting couch that was very comfy. The plantation shutters can be opened or closed for the degree of brightness you like. The en suite was large with a nice shower, a separate toilet room, and a double-sink vanity. There were plenty of hooks and bars for hanging towels/washcloths. The main light dimmed oddly. The other downstairs bedroom features a comfortable double bed with a single above in bunk formation. This room has a nice desk as well. The half bath on the first floor was sufficient and where the washer and dryer were located. This was a nice perk. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. Both bedrooms had queen beds and were pretty comfortable. There is bathroom upstairs. It was fine, but the shower curtain came into the shower with those who showered up there. The folks who stayed up there wished that there were places to hang towels and washcloths. There is an additional sink and vanity in the hallway. The back patio is very nice. I spent a couple of afternoons reading out there. I was mostly at the table and it was very nice. They yard is tiny and neighbors REALLY close, but it was relatively quiet. There are many chairs in the garage if you want to get sun without going to the beach. Again, we weren't cooking, so not sure how the grills performed, but they looked fine. There was also a fire pit if you're into enjoying the patio in the evening. Around the French doors that go into the kitchen, there was some dripping from above that resulted in a puddle that made the otherwise fine patio surface quite slick. The amount of water did not diminish, it only increased during our stay. Otherwise, the patio area was great. The owner was very easy to work with the first day for arrival and a small issue. However, one of our party was trying to work a couple of hours a day and found the wifi to be spotty. We all had trouble with it and let the owner know after asking if anyone had had issues. We requested help again Wednesday, but didn't hear back.

Very nice house and well stocked with everything you need..Great location.. We only spent the weekend at this location to gather family for a niece’s wedding. Busy all day but nights family gathered and spent time together..wish we had more time at the house. Very comfortable beds plenty of room would recommend…

The host was very gracious and responsive. The home is beautiful and clean and in close driving proximity to the pier and lighthouse. We would definitely stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cape Cod - my family was on the island for a family event and we needed an extra house for some of us to sleep at night. We were mostly just there in the evenings, so we didn't use the kitchen at all. The space was cozy and comfy - we had everything we needed including towels, blankets, and ironing board. Unfortunately, the guests before us had left some minor damages, but this did not affect our stay. Overall a nice house in a quaint neighborhood.

I we my husband and I who are in our 60s. We wanted somewhere warmer than NY for the month of February. The house is very comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is very quiet with wonderful neighbors. Both the front porch and back patio are great to sit outside. The grill was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. A 5 minute drive to the beach which was not crowded since it was off season. Would definitely stay here again.

The owner’s instructions were accurate and easily followed. The house was well maintained and comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay there with family to bring in the New Year. I highly recommend staying there.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We came down for my son's graduation and brought his 80+ year old grandmother with us. The first floor master bedroom and very nice, low step in, shower were very nice for her, and there was still plenty of room for my spouse, me and other family members. Thank you.

Came down for my family of 6 for a weekend event. The house was very clean and the owner was extremely easy to communicate with. The check-in instructions email got lost in my spam filter, but the owner was ready by the phone the night of my check-in and walked me through the process over the phone. All good and very helpful. Loved the location. While we were coming in the winter, the house would be about a 5 min or less drive to the beach and very convenient to the Village / Pier area. Would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved this property! Great location- beautiful neighborhood! It’s very spacious- exactly how many beds and baths we needed for 6 women!! No fighting over sink space! We had a great time relaxing in the living room watching tv and chatting! Provided everything we could think of in house & to take to the beach! Definitely going back!

This rental property is in a wonderful location to everything. Very spacious.

Our stay was great but the washer had issues draining the day before check out. It was nearly impossible to wring the water out, we just have soured clothes for the 6 hr ride home. I think it's a amazing stay other than that. More than enough room for a family of 7. Extremely nice house and the beds slept well. The beach is 5 minute drive away.

This house is everything it seems - it’s cute, homey, spacious, comfortable, clean, well-stocked and ideally located. The check-in was easy and the property managers were so incredibly thoughtful and helpful and very responsive. We had no issues while at the property and even though the washer had broken down, they worked quickly and efficiently to repair it while trying to be as little an inconvenience as possible. The rooms were very comfortable and everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well-stocked and we were able to cook our meals comfortably. The garage was full of beach gear in case we hadn’t brought our own. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood about a 5 minute drive to the beach and/or town. Easy access to everything you might want or need. Overall, a fantastic stay and we will definitely be booking here again when we return to St. Simon’s together!

stayed over 4th of July weekend with our son and his family- 6 of us all together; plenty of room- great location-love the golf cart community; neighborhood safe/quiet and all the neighbors very friendly! If you like to get out and walk/bike/run; the neighborhood is the perfect place- no traffic and nice surroundings! The house had everything and more; we grilled out and just totally enjoyed your home! The island was easy to get around and very quaint- just a note- reserve a golf cart before you go- it maybe was just because it was the 4th; but I would check before you go in case! Eileen was very easy to work with and very accommodating! Thanks Eileen for the use of your wonderful home and we will be back!

Great visit

We enjoyed our entire stay! It was a memorable anniversary vacation in all the best ways. There was plenty to do, but we chose to embrace the relaxation. We relished in a candlelit anniversary dinner with our favorite foods prepared on the outdoor grill! My teen sons favorite thing was riding the bikes around the neighborhood. We visited and loved Jekyll Island Beach, which was very friendly to our black family. The beach down the street was nice as well. In addition, we explored the local restaurants and ice cream shop. We recommend this home and the service from the owners.

Rescheduled after covid layoff. The property was so perfect, better than it looked even on the sight! Sometimes no surprise IS the best surprise. Golf, fishing of all types, shopping and great food! We will stay here if we find iur way near agian
