Situated in Borrego Springs, this attractive house for $231 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Beautiful 2,800 sq. ft. 3 bedroom/4 bathroom home right on the golf course at DeAnza Country Club. Our house is fully furnished and equipped with all you need for your visit. Come stay for a short vacation or for the entire season! Our house is a great place to discover Borrego Springs and all that San Diego County's 'Desert Oasis' has to offer: Small town atmosphere; dark, starry skies; no smog; NO traffic lights!; Less than hours to the beach, Imperial County, Palm Springs, Temecula. Check our calendar and/or call for availability. Fall, winter and and spring are the most popular when we have great weather; but consider early summer, summer, or late summer when the weather is hot, the evenings are warm, our pool is most refreshing, and the town is unbelievably quiet! Plenty of activities to do for the whole family. We are right on the 14th Fairway of DeAnza Country Club! Just a few minutes walk to the clubhouse. Golfing is currently available at De Anza Country Club (per their website) with various introductory specials: Our house overlooks the golf course with great views of the fairway in one direction and mountains in the other direction. Expansive patio areas. Gas grill. 2 Bicycles available for you to cruise the neighborhood. Comfy beds and luxurious linens. Sleeps up to five people (master bedroom has king bed and second bedroom has queen bed. Den/third bedroom has a Simmons sofabed. Four full bathrooms. Very quiet De Anza Country Club residential neighborhood, with many mid-century modern custom homes featured in the Borrego Modern home tour held each spring. Roam the traffic free streets. Watch the wildlife. Tucked up against the mountains with golf, tennis, biking, hiking, walk/run paths, gym, spa, and much more available just outside the door or nearby. Come and have fun. Seasonal visitors welcome and special rates for long term stays.

Great mid century home. Perfect for this area.
Really not Palm springs so it shouldn't be considered so. The area stands on its own.

This property has two large main living areas directly in front of the kitchen. Would be very nice for families, even though my husband and I rented it for just ourselves. Very clean, with a more than adequate supply of all toiletry and kitchen items. Outdoor area is nicely maintained with adequate distance from neighbors. I visited in June and didn’t see or hear a single other person until I drove into town. Very peaceful and serene.

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful property in Borrego Springs. Location is great and the house is very spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Charlie is always readily available to respond to questions or concerns. We will likely stay there again!

We rented the property for nearly three weeks. We entered a very clean and well maintained home. There were a few spices, salt and pepper and coffee filters for the drip coffee pot. The kitchen is fully stocked, with regular blender, immersion blender, toaster, etc.
It has a great layout and lives very quietly. Since the weather was cooler we did not use the pool. It is unheated but also clean and well maintained.
We liked it so well we plan to come back again!

We had a wonderful time at Charlie's home. The house is beautiful, so is the neighborhood, and view of the fairway. We all enjoyed cooling off in the pool and lounging in the backyard. The home was fully stocked making it easy to grab some groceries down the street at the market and cook/eat like we were at home. Charlie was a gracious host and I could not have asked for more! We will most certainly be back!

Independence Day in our town, which allows fireworks, has gotten insanely scary. We couldn’t have chosen a better escape than this house in Borrego Springs. While hot in the afternoons, the mornings and evenings were very comfortable, and the darkness and quiet made for excellent sleep. Such stars! Fantastic golf. Lovely evening walks.
We are returning home rested. revitalized and completely charmed by the desert. We’re already planning our next visit. Thank you, Charlie, for such a great weekend.

You will get more exercise walking from room to room in this house than if you hit the gym! Charlie's place is like a beach-house, and a mansion, and a country home all mixed. The space is so large and open, it is well furnished for total hanging out, safe as can be, comfortable everywhere, and Charlie is a great host. We had some hiccups in our original plan and thanks to him it turned out better. This place is at the top of our list. From shooting dark sky panoramics and deepsky astro photos in a very dark yard, to riding our electric scooters deep out into the desert, this is the ideal place to stay. Quiet. Kind neighbors. Down-to-earth relaxing, perfect. Thanks again Charlie! We'll certainly be returning again and again. This was a smart investment, and its so cool you share this place!

We enjoyed the beauty and quiet of Borego. The owner was so helpful and we ate at great places he recommended . The home had everything ever needed: great beds. Tv, and full kitchen.The best part was jumping into a refreshing pool after laying in the sun during the day and watching the stars at night.

Charlie’s place is excellent. Large sprawling house on golf course with pool. Quiet (unless you want to play the cool retro stereo system). A wonderful place to retreat, enjoy nature, and get plenty of sun.

This place was amazing! Charlie was wonderful and helpful when we had questions. The property was clean and made our little vacation so relaxing. Charlie gave us recommendations for dinner at Red Ocotillo and the food was so good. We cannot wait to come back and stay in this lovely house again!!!

Only issue we experienced (and was resolved by the owner in 15 minutes) was the pool from the property was lemonade green. Algae everywhere.
I took a picture of it and sent it to the property owner who couldn’t believe it himself and sent the pool man over in minutes. After that it was fun all the way. Had a great time.

We really enjoyed our week in this house. The house is large, comfortable, and had impressive views of the gardens and mountains. The backyard was wonderfully landscaped and had a nice shaded patio to enjoy the views of the pool and the golf course with mountains in the distance. It seemed like a movie stars home in Hollywood. The Borrego Park visitor center major hiking trail heads were just a 10 to 15 minute drive away. The downtown area had good restaurants and were also 15 minutes away. We hope to return some day soon!
