Dancing Waters Lodge is a wonderful Mountain Lakeside Home, 5 Bedrooms with Queen Beds, 3.5 Baths and 1- Queen Blow-Up Bed (Sleeping 10 in beds and 2 on blow-up bed). This home is located within the gated Rumbling Bald community on Bald Mountain Lake, with a short walk to the RB beach on Lake Lure, pools, Wellness Center, Bald Mt. Golf Course and RB restaurants. THIS HOUSE OFFERS: MAIN LEVEL: Open floor plan with the Kitchen opening into Family Room/Dining Area, Screened in Porch and large Deck space. The Dining Area has a table for 8, and 4 more seats at the Kitchen bar. Family Room has a flat screen TV and gas fireplace-fireplace use is October 1-April 1. Master Bedroom with private bath-Queen Bed. Guest Bedroom - Queen Bed. Half Bath off the Front Entry/Great Room. LOWER LEVEL: 3 Bedrooms-all Queen Beds, 2 Full Baths - One of the Baths has an exit door to the Lower Level Deck and Hot Tub area. The Lower Level Family Room has Gas Fireplace, room to watch TV, play board games and enjoy your family and friends. Walk out from the Great Room to a large Lower Level Deck area. From the Deck you can make you way down 44 steps to the Dock and waterfront of Bald MT Lake. OUTSIDE AMENITIES: Gas Grill- (we provide the propane), Hot tub. At the lakeside we have- 1 Canoe, 3-Kayaks.There is a floating dock for your use. There is also seating on the dock but you might want to bring extras chairs to take to the beach on Lake Lure. Bring you’re fishing poles/tackle. Fishing license is not required for Bald MT Lake, only for Lake Lure. **This home has high speed internet and Wi-Fi. NOTE-NEVER BOOK THRU CRAIGSLIST-IT WILL BE A SCAM ***PLEASE NOTE:*** Guest Passes are provided to you at the home giving access to amenities at Rumbling Bald. There will be additional charges for use of some of those amenities such as golf, miniature golf, pontoon/water craft rentals through the North Shore Cabana and special events. Golf carts are available for rent through Bald MT Golf Course. Things to do near “DANCING WATERS LODGES”: Fishing (you will need a NC fishing License to fish in Lake Lure, not required for Bald Mt. Lake), boat rentals, water skiing, hiking, zip-lining, white water kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking. It was even more beautiful than described!
The early mornings on the Lake was something I've only seen in movies! It truly is breath takingly beautiful! The whole family each had a comfortable sleeping area and plenty of restrooms to use!
Surrounding areas had so much to do for whole family (Zip lining, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, golfing, to name a few) It was perfect for us all to come together and celebrate our 40th anniversary! Highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your place!

This was our fifth year staying at Dancing Waters Lodge, and we are already making our plans for next year. It is the perfect place for our family of all ages. We love being on the lake and being close to hiking trails. The kitchen is great for cooking, but there are restaraunts nearby so you don't have to. We had a glitch in our plans right before we were to arrive, but the property manager and owners worked with us so that we could have our vacation as planned.

This home is located on Bald Lake. The home has been updated and includes all the amenities we were looking for. The owners thoughtfully provided kayaks, a couple of paddle boards and a canoe. We could have fished off the dock and caught all the bluegill and bass we wanted.
I especially liked the back deck. Part of the deck is screened in (to keep any bugs out) and part of it is open. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside and staring at the lake.
I especially appreciated the management company. When we suggested that the pillows might need to be provided, they were they in a matter of hours to replace the old with new pillows. I also appreciated all their advice in pre-trip planning when they suggested things to do and places to see.
Great place with great views. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again!

I rented this home for a long weekend stay during my sons wedding and was extremely happy with the home and all that it had to provide. As with most areas in Lake Lure, the wifi was spotty but tolerable to work with. Better than not having any at all! Couldn't use the canoe, paddle boards or kayaks due to them be literally covered by red ants, which was a disappointment, but we still had plenty to do with our other activities. Very quiet, beautiful location.

The electric goes out every time it rains. Uncomfortable beds/pillows, parking is not convenient. The house is over-represented and does not have items listed in the description. Trees block view of the lake from each deck. Torn screen lets bugs in.

When looking for a property we wanted a place big enough for each of kids to have their own room so a friend can come. Space was large. Kids enjoyed having lower area downstairs to themselves. There were plenty of amenities. The lake is nice and quiet. The screened in porch was my favorite place to relax. Sue was wonderful with communication and answered all questions and concerns quickly. Would definitely stay here or work with these property managers again.

There were 9 of us. Seven adults & 2 children. We were celebrating a 70th and a 15th birthdays Didn’t catch any fish but we made some memories. It is a good place to unwind/unplug. We wish we had known resort restaurants were closed on Monday & Tuesdays. Our stay was Sunday - Thursday. Going 5 miles takes 20 minutes 😉😊 No complaints.

Our family has a long weekend get-away to Dancing Waters in the Rumbling Bald Resort every November. It never disappoints and is a cherished tradition for our family. We have three grandchildren ranging in age from 1 to 7 and they love it too. There were 8 of us - 2 families of 4 and I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Beautiful home, even better than advertised. Property managers were helpful and attentive (small issue with ice maker not working). We had such a wonderful time swimming, floating around in the lake and….relaxing!! This is a great house with amazing views of the lake overlooking the mountains. Being on the lake with access to the kayaks and canoes is a big bonus. I loved sitting on the porch and just staring at the amazing views. The house is updated and everything is in working order. There are 5 bedrooms which accomodated my large extended family. Rental of the house gets you access to the Rumbling Bald amenities of the lazy river and pool. Sue was very responsive and made us feel at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to come back soon.

Our family has been to Rumbling Bald Resort for the last 5 years. This was our second year to stay at Dancing Waters. We have fallen in love with this place and all it has to offer our family. The house is large and beautiful with a well stocked kitchen. There were plenty of beds for everyone and lots of space to read or just relax. The lake is just steps away with kayaks and canoes for the grandkids to play with. The floating dock was especially fun to fish from or just jump in the lake. Sue has been such a blessing to us. She is always available to answer questions and get anything we need. We have already booked this place again for next year and look forward to another amazing stay.

We had 19 family members gathered at Lake Lure using 2 Buffalo Junction properties. We gathered at Dancing Waters lodge daily for meals. Everyone enjoyed the lake. The families with their combined eleven children ranging in age from 3 to 16 spent most of the day at, in, or on the lake at Rumbling Bald. The canoes, kayaks, and floating dock were in constant use. We also spent some time using the facilities at Lake Lure beach. We had a wonderful time and the facilities were perfect for our family. This was our second time to rent here and we hope to be back next summer.
