Directly across the street from the WaterColor resort and next to all the fine shops and restaurants means you are literally a skip away from everything. Only one cart may be rented per home and rentals will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. **Beach Club Update - We are excited to announce the expansion of the Watercolor Beach Club is complete!!! The club now has three pools, two outdoor bars, a restaurant with indoor seating, and much more! Also the brand new Camp Watercolor has two new pool areas, lazy river, new restaurant and 20 foot giant slide! In addition, Fish Out of Water restaurant has finished their amazing renovations with a brand new outdoor wrap around bar, luxurious interiors, and new dining menu.

This is the perfect house if you can't stay right on the beach. It has to be the closest property to the Watercolor beach access. Very easy walk - we did it with 3 toddlers. And you can get chairs the "day of" right on the beach. You don't have to make reservations although it is recommended. The house was clean and comfortable. In great shape too. Lots of sleeping area. We were all very comfortable. The front porch is a nice place to hang out and people/car watch. They have filtered water and say they have water bottles as a gift for everyone, but they have "supply chain issues" and do not have water bottles. SO BRING YOUR OWN because they don't have any at all at the house. Also - the owner was very slow to respond once the property was reserved. I got a little nervous the last couple of days before we left because they weren't responding to give us the property address. I finally sent a desperate and stern message to both husband and wife - and then heard back right away. They were responsive while we were at the house. AND - they heated the pool for our toddlers which was FANTASTIC! Would definitely recommend again!

We had the best time at Happy Place. The location and pool were unbeatable. So easy to walk to the beach and beach club and loved the size of the house pool. The house comfortably fit 4 families and had everything we needed. Can't wait to return!

This three-story home was perfect for us to get together with our kids and grandchildren for the week. We had the option of walking across the street to the beach or going to multiple pools at the Beach Club or using our own private pool. The carriage house provided a quiet spot for those who preferred quiet. You could also walk to Seaside in 5 minutes. It was the perfect vacation home!

We LOVED our stay at Happy Place! The house is close to everything: beach clubs, groceries, restaurants and shopping. You can walk and bike safely everywhere. The entire property is well thought out with lovely rooms, porches and pool area. Tastefully decorated, fully equipped (kitchen is packed with everything you can dream of needing!) and lots of space to spread out makes it a perfect family spot. While we filled almost every bed, we never felt like we were stepping on each other. The owner and property mgr were very accommodating, gracious and helpful with questions and issues.
With that said: checkin in time is firm- there is no flexibility. This is clearly stated in the property description and the reasons are valid, so don’t ask for something different in any pre-rental period communications. (In our case, the property manager/owner response was ambiguous which lead to confusion.) For good reasons, there just isn’t an “early”opportunity. And there is NO access to the Watercolor amenities before checkin (ie- no wristbands available.) Fortunately, there is a very close public beach access, but bring all you own beach “stuff”. Bottom line: Plan your travel accordingly!
Overall- a top property and we would return!

Older home, great location, light bulbs out, flat tires on bikes, needed a more thorough cleaning, worn out furniture, a lot of unnecessary accessories etc, broken granite table top, master bathroom toilet is loose on floor, dryer broken, fire alarms in carriage house going off.
They did respond to us but too many things to correct in a weeks vacation, and not something you want to deal with when you show up on vacation especially when you are paying a premium price per night.

Easy to work with the homeowner. House was perfect size for 17 of us; we also had five more people across the street at watercolor inn. Great location across the street from beach. Easy to walk, golf cart, or ride bikes to restaurants, food trucks & shopping. Carriage house was perfect for extra privacy. One Master on main level (2nd floor) was perfect for our elderly parents. All beds very comfortable! We loved the kitchen open floor plan with multiple sitting areas - enjoyed quality time together playing games, talking, eating, etc. I would book it again!

The speed and reliability prohibited him from doing so in the "carriage room", the room over the garage and removed from the noise of house guests (mainly children). The reason he came on this vacation was because of this room so he could have privacy during his stay. The room he eventually selected with suitable speeds was the downstairs' bedroom, adjacent to the mudroom and modem. This necessitated displacing our daughter and husband. And the house needed to have the kids leave the home at various times during the week because of their background noise. And when present they needed to be off their mobile devices.
In today's era it is unacceptable to have anything short of fast dependable wifi speeds. This is especially true when the guests are paying $24K rental for the week. The owner needs to invest in a commercial grade dependable system. Absent attention to this matter, we would be unable to return to the home.

Absolutely we were in heaven at this property! I really struggled with where to stay in watercolor… never being there, I now realize the areas are so close to each other. Very compact area. But this house omg…. It was perfection. We loved being so close to the beach and beach club. Easily Could run back to house for things. Every room beautiful and nice bathrooms. Just a pretty special home we loved so much. The laundry room features a laundry room/massive mud room with complimentary water bottles and a water filler which was purified. This is a class move—perhaps it should be better advertised so people waiting to check in at 5 PM (my biggest complaint, minus one star) don’t go to the store and buy a ton of nasty plastic water bottles. Luckily we just don’t do that so we were all good. It was tough to arrive and have no place to store suitcases and hang til 5pm, with no access to
Our wristbands for the beach club. Getting those wrist bands upon arrival from the management company ( lnever communicated with them, only the attentive owner kimmie) would really help. Publix is an awesome grocery store and wine selection nice at liquor store. We really loved watercolor!!! Ps bring more than one sweatshirt. It’s nice in march (check forecast) but even with 70 degrees, mornings and evening are chilly. Pools are warm
So that’s a huge help. Beach was gorgeous…sand is white silk and water clean and clear like Caribbean!!! Dolphins in the morning. I’d come back in a heartbeat and stay in this home against. 11 people, 4 teen girls, / sets of parents. 2 freshman, and two middle schoolers. All so happy with plenty of privacy!!

This property is centrally located to the beach, restaurants and pools. The kitchen is well equipped and the indoor furniture is warm and inviting. Our family of 15 was comfortable and all had plenty of room. The pool was lovely and there were lots of outdoor gathering spaces. The only knocks I would have are that the cushions on the main floor porch furniture and the wood on the front porch and walkway to the guest house need attention. We made our grandchildren wear shoes after one of my sons got a nasty splinter in his foot. That said, we have already booked it again and would recommend it to anyone! Wonderful, spacious home!
