The beautiful deck is great for your morning coffee and relaxing any time of day. The evenings are amazing with views of mountains and forest all around. There is ample wildlife to enjoy (deer, hummingbirds, wild turkey, and an occasional grey fox). There are only 12 steps down to the beauty and comfort. A very cozy, comfortable, clean, and certainly enchanting cabin. You won't want to leave!

Great little cabin for a mother/daughter getaway! We enjoyed hours on the deck watching all the wild life, and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time out on the deck of this home. The views are outstanding and the weather was perfect for us. You can see so many stars at night! Lots of birds, couple of raccoons and some deer visited. The home is a little dated but that adds to the cabin feel. Coffee, spices and condiments were provided and there were ample kitchen supplies. Great water pressure! Washer and dryer came in handy also. Good communication with the host. Cons: The bed has a nice topper but mattress still rolls to the middle. One of the neighbor down below has some dogs that bark A LOT! They also have a rooster and what sounds like a goat and pigs. This definitely took away from my experience but wasn't a deal breaker as you truly can't beat the views and ambiance (when they weren't barking). Driveway is a little scary, at least for me. Overall this is a great get away! Beautiful views and lots of Beautiful birds!

Really great place! We stayed 5 nights. Very well equipped with everything you may need. Quite, in the middle of pine trees, with a nice terrace over the forest. Annette has been very helpful and prompt to reply.

It was a great cozy cabin. Big enough for myself and my two kids. We loved the bedrooms. The best part is the porch. Hummingbirds and other birds come right up to the porch to eat. And the view was Amazing. So peaceful. Also the cabin is just a few miles away from all the family attractions. It was perfect for our family vacation.

The cabin is rustic but very clean with all amenities. The location is just out of town so it’s quiet and peaceful. But it’s not so far out of town that you can’t be there in a few minutes and close to restaurants and grocery store. The view is awesome!!!

My wife and I went to Ruidoso to escape the heat and once again enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It has a great location with tremendous views off the back deck. Though small it is just the right size for my wife and I and located close to all the things we do up there.

This cozy treehouse is my favorite spot in Ruidoso. Nature is fully appreciated on the deck with amazing views and cute critters always visiting. The owners keep it very clean and maintained. They have 2 great places to rent on this mountain. Both properties are wonderful!

Had a great time with my wife and son. The cabin is in a great location and was very clean/ spotless. The only thing we didn’t like was the queen/full mattress. The mattress is extremely hard even with the topper. Also, a starter amount of fire wood should be provided. We have stayed at other cabins in Rudioso, Cloudcroft, and Angel Fire and never had to purchase our own wood. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the cabin, beautiful patio and seeing the birds.

Just what we needed for a long, relaxing weekend. Cozy, charming and absolute great views. We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and the wood stove. Wildlife came to visit and lots of beautiful wild birds. Will definitely consider this cabin again!

Although the cabin needs updating inside, our stay was pretty comfortable and enjoyable. Please note the bathroom is really small and the master mattress needs replacing, edges are high so getting in and out is difficult. We loved the birds, squirrels and chipmunks and having food available to feed them. The porch was really spacious and comfortable.

The best part was the deck overlooking all the trees. Lots of birds (refilled the bird feeder twice in a week!) and squirrels to watch. BBQ had propane for us to use - yay! House was a bit of a disappointment- bathroom was really TINY, some things needed some sprucing up, furniture just ok although bed was fine. Plastic plates could not be used in microwave. Used car’s Navigation system and it took us through the mountains (coming from Santa Fe) - shoulda used owner’s directions! Duh! Ruidoso was fun - good restaurants, stores and casinos. Watch out, though - many things (esp restaurants) closed on Monday/Tuesday after the weekend visitors depart - plan ahead!

Enjoyed our stay and the cabin was very comfortable and meet all of our needs. Nice to be able to sit on the deck in the evening and watch the wildlife and birds. Only thing was getting a email from the owner the day before our arrival stating the washer had broke and after trying to get it fixed with no success, ordered a new one but it was to be delivered after we left, oh well things happen. The property owner was nearby and did offer to do laundry for us which we did not take advantage of. Loved exploring the Ruidoso area, lots to do, hiking, biking, watching the horse races, visiting a ghost town and some dining out. Would enjoy coming back to the area again.

The cabin is small but functional and worked well for my party of 3. We primarily used the cabin for a place to sleep at night and relax after the days activities. I enjoyed the walking the neighborhood and managed to put in 5 miles on 2 different days, just walking the hills near the cabin. No complaints.

Our stay was amazing we enjoyed grilling while having an amazing view. We will definately keep this location to return again. Everything meeded was availiable for us as well as deer food. We got to see some deer and gave them food. I was such a great experience.

We had a great two night stay in this cozy home. It was accessible to all activities in Ruidoso. The property was clean and had all basic amenities needed including a coffee maker. We loved the bird decor/theme.
