It was exactly like to pic in VRBO listing. The owners were super nice and gave me all the privacy i needed. Beautiful, peaceful, views, and I plan to go back and stay longer!

Me and my daughters came for a couple of days, this place was perfect as a gateway. The house was perfect and the view was breathtaking. We were able to relax and just enjoy our time in the mountains. Sharyn was always easy to get a hold if we needed anything. We can’t wait to go next year.

The cabin was immaculately clean, and we felt so comfortable here. Rick and Sharyn were so quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and so hospitable. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay on the property. Perfect stay with our animals. Great location. Would definitely come back for a visit!

A week before our stay I contacted our hosts, they responded in a timely manner and answered all our questions. When we arrived, they were pleasantly waiting on us. The cabin was adorable, and the view from the back porch was beautiful. We spent our mornings on the porch, taking in the view during breakfast. Also, we didn't have to bring anything, as far as sheets, towels, coffee, etc. The hosts already had the essentials for us. The cabin is a duplex, but they only book one side at a time, so there is privacy for the guest, which I thought was very considerate. Unknown ahead of time, there were horses beside the cabin, which made my day! Overall, our experience was incredible and we're already planning another trip in the fall.

They have a wonderful rental and are very friendly. The view is great and our dogs loved the huge yard! My 8yr old son said it should get 50 stars!

The cabin has a very warm, authentic feel. Our 4 year old and our dog absolutely loved running around the yard and looking all the farms. Sharyn was really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a nice, country vacation! We took some great photos and had a wonderful time.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our experience here! We were able to bring our fur babies and they had a blast. The view is amazing! We loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee while our pups got to explore the land. The owners were so kind! They greeted us upon arrival and came over to say bye before we left. The cabin had everything we needed. It felt like home! We plan on returning in the future!

Memories started the moment we arrived at the cabin. The cabin situated on 7 sloping well maintained acres. The backdrop of the mountain ranges and valleys below took your breathe away. Awaiting our arrival was Sharyn one of the owners who made us feel so welcomed. She showed us the layout of very clean and furnished cabin. How to operate the gas fireplace safely and operate the always confusing electronic remotes. We meet Rick the other owner who showed us the layout of the property and also made us feel very welcomed. I enjoyed our conversations. Our dogs loved the freedom to run, play and sniff the acres behind the cabin. The full length porch allowed us to sit comfortably and take in the magnificent views. This is by far the best all around cabin we've stayed in. I can't wait until we return and I have already reserved our stay for next year. Thanks Rick and Sharyn for sharing your cabin with us. It had a breathtaking view it was like something you would see on a postcards the cabin was cozy and it had everything you needed it. It was just like being at home I couldn't ask for anything better we had such a great time there. The ones that had the most fun was our dogs Sky and Max they had free range of the land. Those two ran from early in the morning til late at night no fences and no chains. This was such an amazing 12th anniversary for me and my husband.

This duplex cabin was as described. Everyone enjoyed their time there. The view is amazing and the cabin isn’t too far from town which is a bonus. Rick and Sharyn were wonderful and very helpful. They were quick to respond when we needed something. My friend rented the other cabin beside us and it made it nice and easy to visit one another yet had our own space. We’ve already discussed our next trip and looking forward to it!

Sharyn and Rick are really nice hosts, who take great care of their property. .As nice as the photos are, they didn't really do this place justice. You have to be there to fully appreciate the surroundings. Beautiful acreage, with large fields of grass for our doggies to roll around in. Very quiet and peaceful with a wonderful back porch to watch the sun set over the mountains. Nice kitchen. HUGE bathroom. We would have liked a larger bed and some better lighting...e.g. not enough light to read in bed. I also liked the idea from another reviewer about how nice a screen door would be. Our phones had good enough service that the lack of wi-fi was not a big deal.

It was a great place to stay. They hosts were very welcome and friendly. They allowed us to come early to put our stuff up, because we had had a rough start the day before. We have told everyone how wonderful it was.

We just a had a wonderful weekend stay at Sharyn's cabin in Newport. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well apppointed with everything we needed for our stay. The view from the shared back porch is lovely. My only recommendation to make this cabin even better would be for them to add a screen door to the back so that you can leave the door open to enjoy the fresh air and views. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay near the Smokey Mountains but out of the melee of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Or to anyone just looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

This property is absolutely beautiful! The owners are so amazing and so nice!! Definitely coming back here in the future! Perfect spot if you want to get out of the crowd and enjoy a quiet spot! The view is also so beautiful!

We had a wonderful time in the cottage with the fantastic view. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided and upon arrival the cottage was immaculate. This is not just a rental with absentee owners, it’s apparent that Sharyn and Rick enjoy their guests, and take care of their property. Our only “ complaint” would be that our stay was not long enough at nine days! We hope to stay longer next year, and I definitely understand the popularity of this cottage. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

Owners made everything so convenient, cabin is very well kept, you have the whole place to yourself. I recommend you stay here, telling everyone I know and family they need to stay here. Want to thank the owners, Sharyn and Rick for making our stay very in joy able.

The property was well stocked and well maintained. The view from the patio out back is amazing! The hosts are great, friendly and there if you need them, but unobtrusive. They even suggested some great spots for us to check out that were great for the dog. 10/10 will stay again❤️
