About this house rental

Located in Loreto, this attractive house for $325 per night is a great option for your next trip. The name “Casa Fiesta” is given to this house because the house has an extremely large area for entertaining. This house has a wide open floor plan, a gourmet kitchen and high quality appliances. A pool table, flat screen TV’s and video gaming system (X Box, Wi, PlayStation) as well as family board games are available for entertainment. The master bedroom has two queen size beds, large modern walk-in shower and sitting area. Bedroom #2 we call “the brick room” is very unique in that it was the existing house on the property. This adorable bedroom has a palapa roof on the exterior and also has two queen size beds with access to the second bathroom. A circular staircase takes you up to a third bedroom where the Sea of Cortes, and the Sierra La Giganta mountains are visible as well as La Isla De Carmen (Island Del Carmen). This third bedroom has two full size beds and is decorated in beach style motif. Off the kitchen is a huge laundry room with washer and dryer and extra storage area. The rear yard is privately enclosed and has beautiful palm trees and BBQ with nice seating area. We have a newly constructed pool (July, 2021) The pool is shared with guests from our Casita in a common area setting and we will soon be adding and outdoor kitchen/bbq/bar area covered by a palapa!! Disclosure, outdoor security cameras do capture part of the pool and deck area. There is ample signage around property informing of video surveillance. Casa Fiesta has a very unique Spanish décor with art work and custom regional tile throughout. The builder, an electrical contractor from California, designed this house with the highest quality electrical standards including a built in sound system. The front yard was recently landscaped in chic desert scape with lighting. There is plenty of room for parking and a wrought iron and brick gate keeps you secure at night. This house is approximately 3,000 square feet and sleeps 12 people comfortably. All the comforts of home can be found at “Casa Fiesta” including cable television, home telephone and wireless internet. The house is located 1 block from the Sea of Cortez and less than 1 mile from the town center. We have no doubt you will be pleased with your accommodations. We have an 8 passenger Yukon XL available for rent while you are there. It is an additional charge but you can rent by the day so only pay when you use it! We have a full-time property manager available to meet you and show you around town. His name is Raul, he is also a fishing boat Capitan and owns his own Super Panga! Kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, excursions to Isla Del Carmen and Coronado Island, Mision San Javiar or other local tours can be arraigned. BOAT/RV PARKING INCLUDED Our Casita is located on our adjacent huge lot (available for larger groups or when the big house is booked). This is a one bedroom one bath home that sleeps 4. This will be a two-part review, the first part specifically about casa fiesta and the second part more generally about Lorato. Obviously if you are familiar with Lorato you can ignore the second part I give casa fiesta a full five stars. It's a very large very clean well maintained house. As with any VRBO the supplies in the house can be somewhat eclectic. All I can say is don't buy any more coffee filters. Olga, the owner is super responsive and very helpful as Israel the property manager. I highly recommend renting the van for $40 a day. The walk into downtown is probably 15 minutes but unfortunately you have to go through a dry riverbed which is quite Dusty. The property has a shared pool but we were not able to take advantage of it as it was not quite warm enough. Anyone not familiar with the non super touristy towns will know that there is a interesting collection of homes in every neighborhood, some very upscale and some very basic. Regardless we felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. At the end of the day I highly recommend this property. Laredo The official Old Town of Lorato has a typical Central plaza where most of the restaurants and bars are. I was stunned by how immaculate everything was. We noticed several workers out every morning with brooms and dust pans cleaning up every leaf and scrap. There were some dogs running around but not even the typical annoying number that I've seen in other Mexican cities plus many seem to have callers and all to look quite healthy. However in no way shape or form were they annoying. Lots of good restaurants, grocery stores, banks, car rentals, pretty much everything you need on a vacation. The second part of the area is called Lorato Bay which is a separate very much gringo community. As you drive down the One main Street 90% of the cars have Alberta or British Columbia license plates. This is where the non TPC golf course is. Not surprisingly it could use a little work but has a very interesting layout and overall was pretty well maintained. Running right along the Sea of Cortez it had three or four really beautiful holes. Clubhouse and entrance could be enhanced but if you're there for the golf it's no big deal. There seem to be only two or three restaurants in Lorato Bay. Most of the accommodations there were pretty high-end townhomes. I suspect that there is an act of social scene in the evenings but we didn't stay there so I wasn't able to experience it.

Place was as advertised, Olga the house owner was great to work with, communication via email and text was easy and she always responded quickly. Great open area living space, pool table was good, we couldn't get the music system to work but that's an easy fix. We would have liked more outdoor sitting/hang out areas, would be a good add. Otherwise place is great - it's a 20 minute easy walk to "downtown", close to beach/ocean and tons of gear ready to use at the beach. Overall, it's a great stay in the price range, we'd stay there again for sure. Thanks Olga and family!

For the first few days of our stay, Olga and Kurt were in Loreto and had good advice for us on where to go, what to do and not to do, what days are good for what, etc. They're fun people who really enjoy setting up great stays for visitors to Loreto. When we had a few questions about how to make a few things around the house work, they responded within minutes. The house is spacious and well ventilated. They've got a room full of useful beach stuff like towels, picnic baskets, water jugs, pool floaties, washer & dryer, etc. The restaurant down the street is a lot of fun. Great food and entertainment. Their drinks are really good. Things they recommended to us that we would recommend to you: If you snorkel, definitely go to their guy, Danna, to set up a panga boat rental. Danna and his guys can take you to some truly amazing snorkeling spots on the islands. They took us to Isla Coronados one day, all the way to Isla Danzante another day. The snorkeling at each one was unforgettable. They recommended inviting Betty Boop over to cook dinner for our group one night. We should have done it twice. Betty's food was really good, and the cost was well worth it. Juncalito was the beach they recommended to us. Go there. Seriously.

Olgas place is better than the description. We stayed Tuesday through Saturday in the middle of May. Olga has all the connections from fishing to a personal cook. The A/C works great in every room and the layout of the house is perfect. We were (2) couples with young boys and everyone had plenty of room while also having some privacy. The location is close to town center but far enough to feel as if you are out of the tourist zone. Casa Fiesta is absolutely perfect!!!

Walking into the property we were pleasantly surprised to walk into a clean beautiful home. The house is super roomy and spacious and fully equipped with ANYTHING you may need for those staying at the house. The beds were perfectly made, extra blankets available if needed and the kitchen had more gadgets that we even own in our house. Perfect home to entertain, cook up meals, and then wonder out to the Malecon to sight see and buy something yummy to eat. The property manager Yoni is AMAZING and was able to gather enough boats needed for my family to take the day trip to Isla de Coronados, by far my favorite beach in Baja. Overall the house was perfect for my family, a place away from home we called home for three days. 100% recommended!

Ideal for our large group of 9! Set in a quiet residential neighborhood with great security for your vehicles and possessions. The owner even found a friend who cooked an excellent meal for the group because we were out whale watching for the day. The “house manual” was complete and helpful.

Three families came together to celebrate Christmas in Mexico. We all loved the house! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and dishes. Cooking meals was a delight. Plenty of room for us all to mill around and pitch in. The open floor plan and the pool table made for easy mingling. The availability of the van made it convenient to get around. But mostly was walked. The house is an easy walk to town and the beach. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Olga was always so kind and helpful when we contacted her. We felt lucky to find this gem of a home. We will be back someday!
