Located in McAllen, this attractive house for $300 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The property has been very well maintained and has the feel of vacationing in the country with the benefits of the city. The open floor plan optimizes living space and maximizes the comfort for our guests. The kitchen bar has four comfortably solid mahogany stools with an hdtv for added comfort. There is a breakfast table located in the dinning area with four chairs. The formal dinning area has a beautiful large mahogany table that seats 8 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed with a wall mounted smart hdtv and stand up glass shower located in it's bathroom. The second bed room has a queen size bed with a wall mounted hdtv. The third bed room has a custom made bunk bed station with 4 twin size beds and a wall mounted smart hdtv. The fourth bed room room has a queen size bed and wall mounted HDTV. The entertainment room has a pool table, poker table, and set of rustic couches. There is also a half bath located in this room. The living room has a large wall mounted smart 3d HDTV, a beautiful peaceful sounding water fountain, and five of the most comfortable reclining leather oversized chairs you could sit on. The back yard is a continuation of the rustic theme with a beautiful brick open grill and wagon wheel chandelier, as well as the wood work along the entire back part of the house. There are two wooden tables with 8 chairs in the patio area. There is a remote controlled gate in the back that allows you to park two vehicles and additional parking in front of the house. Overall this phenomenal rustic country themed dwelling is perfect for families of all sizes and/or corporate organizations looking for privacy and extreme comfort while staying in McAllen.

Lots of room. Very cool vibe. Great location. Internet is slow. Not much hot water. Some of the beds need to be reinforced and a lot of fixtures were loose. Still enjoyed and would recommend with a few caveats.

The area and location were nice. The amount of space in the house was good. The beds are not good. One room the frame was broken and the mattress had to be put on floor. The bunk bed room one frame is messed up and my child slept crooked. The master bed where you put your head something is wrong (it’s like laying upside down) so we had to sleep at the opposite end. The coffee pot was disgusting we went to use it, and it still had an old coffee filter in there that had mold growing (clearly wasn't cleaned often). The dishes, silverware, and utensils were gross and needed to be washed before use. The house didn’t have cleaning products, a working broom, or even toilet paper. The washer must be broken we had to ring out every piece of clothing. The dryer was a hit or miss about working. The amount of money spent to get things needed to clean and feel comfortable staying. We stayed for a week. If we would have have other places to stay with 9 people we would’ve. Very disappointed. The pictures online look amazing, but it’s very different in person. Sad family from Illinois. Not worth the money we spent renting it.

We had a blast staying at this house. We had pool tournaments and loved the back yard. Very nice people and very nice place.

Amazing Lone Star Beauty
Our family has been using VRBO for over 5 years for all our vacation needs. Mr. Hernandez' house is the most gorgeous house we have ever stayed in. This residence met all our needs, it was spacious, in a beautiful neighborhood and the owner, Mr. Hernandez was very attentive to all our needs. Very quiet, secure and relaxing stay for our whole family
We just spent a week in this great house. Hector was more than accommodating to our large family coming in from the midwest--even had room for great-grandma. Home is very spacious, plenty of room for adults, teens and kids to relax. We especially loved the privacy and the security of having our vehicles parked securely out back. Great spot to stay while visiting the RGV--Highly recommended for families.

Spacious - but dark and dirty
I stayed here with 3 work colleagues. While the property was spacious, with plenty of room for all of us, the property was very dark and not as clean as we would have liked. This included dirty towels, dirty cabinets in the kitchen, and unfortunately, a number of roaches.

I had my daughters 1st birthday party at the house. It was so spacious! Plenty of space inside and out. Hector was very friendly and gracious. Lovely neighborhood. Definitely would stay again.

Large, spacious home
We did enjoy our stay in this home. The common areas were large and had comfortable seating for all of us with a large TV. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with walking paths at a park not far away. The home was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Hector was awesome! Whenever we had a need, he was very willing to rectify the problem. The home was mostly clean, but we would suggest to Hector that he hire someone to clean up the outdoor areas, wash the windows (they were very dirty), clean out the kitchen cupboards/counters and perhaps get the carpet cleaned in the bedroom by the kitchen. Other than those minor complaints, the home was wonderful, especially for the price.

First experience with a rental home and sadly last anywhere
House was nice and spacious! Great location! Well everything was going good til 3rd night (july 20, 2018)small electrical fire started in laundry room! Thank goodness my husband was able to put it out before emergency firemen got there! Both official reports state electrical fire because high efficiency dryer not vented correctly! Hope a Professional was called to correct problem and hope fire/smoke detectors were installed because there was none! Sadly we didn't get our deposite nor sort of refund! We were placed in a hotel but big inconvenience for our plans!

Great Homebase for Rio Grande Valley trip
Great homebase for our trip to the Rio Grande Valley for birding. There was lots of room for our group of eight. In a quiet safe neighborhood near supermarket and restaurants. Hector was quick to respond to questions.

Great rental experience!
The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The yard was awesome. The location is convenient to north McAllen and Edinburg. Our nephews came over one night and really enjoyed the game room! We will definitely book in the future!
