About this house rental
Nestled in Crescent City, this charming house for $399 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Space Huge 2,000 sqft single level home boasting 4 Bedrooms 2 baths and large fenced yard. 3 rooms have comfortable queen size beds and one room has a small twin size bed. Room 1 and 2 have comfortable queen size beds, night stands and dressers. The 3rd is the bunk room with 2 queen size bed and full bathroom. The couch folds out to sleep 2 and there's a air mattress that will also sleep 2 more. The Main bathroom offers a relaxing tub/shower to wash all the sand away. The backyard has a large fire pit, bbq grill and the tranquil 6 person hot tub with changeable led lights and a ambient waterfall. Activities that guests may enjoy in our region include surfing, horseback riding, kayaking, rafting, beach combing, bicycling, swimming/water slides at public pool, fishing, whale watching, hiking, going to the aquarium, gaming at the local casino, antique store shopping, and sightseeing. Guest interaction For any questions, I'm available 24 hours per day and live just around the corner. There are brochures available at our home to recommend areas to visit and dine in. We have a hand written booklet that contains instructions on use of amenities. Getting around EVERYTHING IS WITHIN 5 MILES Other things to note CHECK IN: Check in time is 3:00 PM. EARLY CHECK IN TIMES ARE ALLOWED ONLY WHEN THE PROPERTY IS CLEANED AND READY FOR OCCUPANCY AND PRIOR APPROVAL IS REQUIRED. CHECK OUT: Check out time is 11:00 AM. All remote controls, etc need to be left at premises. If you would like a later checkout time, please ask the day before and we will accommodate you if possible, depending on cleaning schedules. CLEANING: Each property will be inspected, sanitized and cleaned after your departure. The cleaning fee will provide normal cleaning so that you can enjoy your vacation up to the last moment. HOWEVER, YOU ARE REQUIRED to leave the property in the same general condition that you received it by making sure, dishes are done and put away, and the home is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed, dusted and sanitized. OUR HOUSE IS NON-SMOKING. WHAT WE SUPPLY: The property is equipped and set up as a fully furnished property that will include bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Plan on packing your personal toiletry items. Since we provide only a limited supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and other dispensable items to get you started on your first two days of vacation, you should plan on making a trip to the grocery store to replenish these items as you need them. HOT TUB, HORSE SHOE'S, FIRE PIT, ETC... use of those items can be dangerous and that injury is likely to occur to anyone who is not careful. Children should never be left unattended. Guests should observe and adhere to all rules and policies as posted. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of all of the listed items. Also, our hot tub is professionally maintained and we strive to keep it in welcoming condition. If they do not appear in satisfactory condition to you, please notify us immediately and we will have them checked. No refunds will be given due to a hot tub that has stopped working. We will make our best efforts to resolve the issue in a timely manner. PETS: We allow pets. . You MUST clean up after your pet, which includes properly disposing of all waste material. If any waste material is found on the property, $25 of your pet deposit will not be refunded. You must also maintain control of your pet at all times, and NEVER leave a dog unattended alone inside the house. If you are leaving for the day and do not want to take the dog with you, please leave them outside and make sure they don't bark constantly.

We love this property. This is our third stay here. Mike is great and available if we need him. The fenced yard is perfect for our dog. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit and love the hot tub!
We have family nearby and we gather here to cook or bbq and visit.
Beds are comfortable and living room is spacious with plenty of cozy seating.
We’ll be back for sure!!!

We really enjoyed our time here. It had plenty of room for our large family. Lots of areas to play games & do puzzles, the back yard area was a huge hit with the hot tub, fire pit and horseshoe pit. The kitchen (and whole) house was very well stocked. The only issue we had was the main bath’s shower faucet was a little tricky and seemed to just need replaced. It was very centrally located to all the activities we had planned.

Our group of nine stayed here for my mother in laws 70th birthday trip. The home slept us all well and we had plenty of room to enjoy each others company while playing games at the big table or eating meals together. The kids enjoyed the play room and everyone enjoyed the game selection. The hot tub was a big plus! The yard is spacious with a fire pit and horseshoes. The owners have thought of everything you’d need in your home away from home and we were happy to also find a cooler for our day trips and even sand toys the kids took to the beach and played with. The owners are also very easy to get in touch with if needed and very nice. We enjoyed the beaches nearby and hikes in the Redwoods.

I rented the house for myself and two adult children. The house was well located for our plans. It's a beautiful, well kept, and very spacious house with lots of common space, and a very pleasant enclosed backyard that my daughter's dog just loved.

The living room was a communal place where we all came together during the day and at night we went into our separate rooms. The kids played in the hot tub for a few hours a day and the adults went in after hours to hang and talk. It is a well used house and makes it so you are comfortable letting the kids walk in and out with there chips and being wet to run in and use the bathroom. The washer and dryer were handy for drying our bathing suits so we didn't have to put a cold wet one on the next day. The aquarium was down the road a few minutes which was so cool, the view on the way down to the drive thru tree was awesome, and there is a movie theater in town. For those tired parents the next day dutch bros in near and for quick run into town there was burger king, safeway, jack in the box, and a mexican restaurant with many other options for eating adn getting things to make at the house.

Crescent City get away
This house is amazing. The house was clean, well equipped and had comfortable furniture. Our dogs loved playing in the big fenced yard while we enjoyed the spa and fire pit. It was really nice to return to the house after a long walk on the beach or in the red woods.

Dislikes:
-Spa was unavailable. Hosts informed of us this prior to our stay and offered tickets to the community pool and a discounted rate. These tickets were never provided and at this point, no refund for this lack of amenity has been provided.
-No internet access. Host contacted the internet company who stated they could not be able to fix it until after our stay. All the tv's are wifi enabled, which meant we could not watch tv while we were there. Members of our party had to cut their trip short because they were on a "working vacation" and wifi was required during their stay.
-Garbage disposal was broken upon arrival. (Fixed during our stay).
-The water filter in the fridge needed changing. The indicator light was on. Thankfully no one drank water produced by the fridge.
-No heat. There is an electric fireplace in the living room, but it was broken. A small, portable heater was provided, but would only be enough to heat one room.
-We discovered the dishwasher was broken on our second night. Called the host the next morning and was told by host that he was out of town and couldn't come by until later that evening. There was no communication that evening and the dishwasher remained broken. Our party spent a part of our checkout morning washing dishes by hand.

Very Nice Home
We had a 5-night stay. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you'll need. The yard is awesome with a great fire pit. Since it's an older home, the water pressure isn't going to rip your hair out, but it does the job. All in all, if we have to be in Crescent City again, we would definitely stay here.

Whenever I visit a place and they have soft, absorbent toilet paper, I know they didn’t scrimp on anything. The house was what is described plus more kitchen supplies and seasonings, bathroom toiletries, lots of chairs to sit around the fire pit, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Nice amenities and house and beds very comfortable.
