Nestled in New Braunfels, this charming house for $733 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Experience 'life on the river' in this spacious 2,500 square foot riverside home located directly on the banks of the Guadalupe River - just one mile from historic downtown Gruene, Texas! Majestic giant oak trees surround the house and envelop the property with beauty and privacy. Walk onto the large, well-shaded deck overlooking a spectacular view of huge cypress trees, an expansive yard containing an immaculate lawn, wildlife, and striking limestone cliffs lining the riverbanks. The backyard stretches across 170 plus feet of river frontage inviting swimming, tubing, fishing, boating or cooking your favorites on the gas grill. Enjoy and relax on the newly built bulkhead with wide steps making easy access into and out of the river. This sizeable home and property has three and a half bathrooms and four large bedrooms, each containing queen-size beds. The living room area also contains a queen-size sofa bed, and the master bedroom has its own large on-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. The spacious living and dining areas display spectacular views of the beautiful yard and river below. The well-equipped kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, double oven, glass top electric stove, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and all the dishes, cookware and utensils you would ever need. A laundry room, which includes a washer and dryer, and a generous supply of towels and linens are provided. This property will accommodate up to a MAXIMUM of 10 people. PLEASE NOTE: There is a three night minimum on these holidays - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. Owner does live in a separate dwelling on the property, and is available if needed. Dining, shopping, and major attractions are just minutes away, including the historic town of Gruene, Gruene Hall (Texas' oldest dancehall), Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels, Wurstfest, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World, the beautiful Riverwalk in San Antonio, Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Park, and so much more! With its comfortable furnishings, prime location on the Guadalupe River, and one mile from downtown Gruene, THIS IS THE PROPERTY YOU WANT TO BOOK!

Everything perfect . Large family reunion . Many stayed in house 2 doors down . A few stayed here to get away from all the crowd and have quit time . Was very peaceful . Will bring my immediate family back here

We take a mini-vacation in Gruene ever year. This has by far been the best place we have ever stayed. The house was perfect for our needs. We spent most of our time out on the huge deck and down by the river. The grounds were immaculately kept and the view is top notch. Impossible to capture the view with a photo. Bobby was a great host.

Nine old friends reunited to enjoy Los Lobos at Gruene Hall and watch the eclipse by the river. The porch sitting was the best, plenty of wildlife sightings, and the trees... The live oaks over the porch plus the big river cypress were beyond beautiful. The deck by the water was really good. Bobby was a great host. Bonus: we were able to Uber in to Gruene for the show (and back). Peaceful for sleeping, the house is solid and quiet. Would re-book most definitely! A beautiful site.

We had such a nice time. Plenty of water in the river to kayak (thanks for letting us use your kayaks!) The deer were so pretty to watch in the yard in the evenings! Home was very clean, and perfect for our getaway!!! Great location so close to Gruene!! Thank you, Debbie B.

The rental was more than we hoped for. Plenty of room for 8 people (4 couples). Close to everything we did. Best part was the large deck for evening drinks watching the deer Will make this an annual stay.

This is the most beautiful property! We had 10 women in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us! The back porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening meals. The steps that led into the water made it easy for all of us to enjoy the Guadalupe. We loved watching the deer roam the property every morning and every evening. Gruene and the Rockin R river outfitters are just minutes away. We loved it so much and didn't want to leave. Bobby was a great host!

My extended family and I had a great time staying at this beautiful property. It was very clean, roomy and had great views of the river and wildlife. We enjoyed cooling off in the water and sitting out on the spacious deck watching the deer! The owner is very nice and responsive! Highly recommend!

First off the property is beautiful. Trees, wildlife and easy access to the river with a nicely built concrete ledge and stairs. The family loved every day of our vacation. The house offered so much space and was very clean. The owner was accommodating and very attentive. We will definitely keep this property on our list of vacation spots!!

The property was very clean and comfortable. The view in the mornings and late afternoon were incredible. Watched 7 or 8 deer roaming around the property in the mornings and afternoon. Even a pretty fox showed up. The host was very nice and accommadating. Would go back!

My husband, myself, and three other couples stayed there when we saw Willie Nelson and ZZ Top recently. Plenty of space for four couples, nice size bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room. But, the best part was relaxing on the big deck on the back of the house facing the Guadalupe. Some of the guys enjoyed going out on the provided kayaks. We had a great time in nearby Gruene eating out and going to the flea market. Thanks to Bobby for all his help with this much needed trip with good friends. We’ll be back!

We stayed here (group of 8) for a family wedding. The house is super clean and the beds were comfortable. The home sits on a beautiful part of the Guadalupe River where we saw squirrels, birds, turtles and lots of deer from the windows and porch. There are kayaks available as well. Bobby is so nice and we will definitely stay again.

What a great place! My family had a fabulous time.. The location is fabulous and the views are amazing . We also greatly enjoyed using the provided kayaks and floated on tubes right in front of the house. Bobby was also super helpful and a gracious host. We would definitely come back.

Bobby's River House was awesome! We spent most of our time on the huge outdoor deck watching the neighborhood deer walk right up to us. The property has a spacious living and dining room, comfortable beds, and 5 kayaks for use. We found it perfect for 4 couples and a child. Lots of fun and great memories we made at Bobby's! We will be back for sure!

We had a great stay. Beautiful location and attentive host. We enjoyed feeding the deer and sitting on the deck enjoying the gorgeous view. Suggestions for future guests are glass rectangle bakeware pans, and a new king size bed in the Master. The current bed was very noisy.
