Welcome to all season lakefront retreat! The property is four season fully furnished home uniquely large (2078 Sqf) and clean,. This cottage has everything you need for a great getaway: 1 Acre of lakefront property with large natural threes, 4 bedrooms with two queen beds, two double beds with futons and two full washrooms. Great two large living rooms with large windows facing the lack, with Roku TV, WiFi Internet devices, Over 12 car park. It is one hour drive to Winnipeg, 3 min drive to Winnipeg Beach and 10 minutes drive to Gimli. It is close to Sandy Hook Golf course, at the end of Winnipeg Beach, Prospect Street. Perfect for multi-family get-together, Special Occasions, Birthdays etc... Deposit of $500.00 required to hold dates, Deposit is fully refundable within 14 days of move out, if the cottage is left in the condition received.. Available for rent all season rental. Summer rates are as follows. The rental rates are: $350.00/night for up to 6 people, plus $30.00 per nigh per additional person. Weekend rates are $450.00/night Winter rental rate depends on the duration and number of vacationers staying. AVAILABLE FOR SHORT TERM, OR MONTHLY. This place is rustic it’s run down, no acs, fans don’t even work good, the bbq hose to the propane tank was already broken wiring was already ripping and rusted that bbq look like it was on its last days. The house smelt like a real ethic smell as if they had someone living there. We never smoked up in the house we smoked it outside. We are not paying that for a already broken bbq. we rent so much cabins this summer and never did we get bad reviews.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, the house and property are well maintained and clean. There are lots of space outdoors to play with the kids, we were able to see the stars at night and wildlife is everywhere you look. Dan is a great host, very accommodating and great communication with his guests. We can't wait to visit again!

The place is as described. Very big living area. lots of beds and sleeping space. Very nice view of the lake. 45mins walk to Winnipeg Beach. 15mins drive to Gimli Beach.
Host is very accommodating and friendly. He made sure our stay was as good as it got.
Very good communication.
Will definitely book this place again next season.

The house was fine. The kitchen was dirtier then we would have liked to see and there was random stuff all over the house. We would stay there again though. All in all it was a nice stay

This property was perfect for out group! We came up for a ice fishing trip and there was plenty of space in a great location! We will be back!

Dan was a great host. Lots of room. We wish the access to the lake was easier, there are a lot of big rocks to navigate to get to the water and if the lake is rough it makes it very challenging. Unfortunately the wifi and tv weren’t working so there were a few disappointed bomber fans. Overall we enjoyed our time.

Lakefront cottage
This was a great cottage for two families to vacation together. There was plenty of room inside and a beautiful yard for lots of activities. We spent a lot of time watching the waves come in on windy days.
Close to both Winnipeg beach and Gimli if you want to take the kids to a bigger beach.
Owners were super friendly and accommodating.

Our family had a nice, relaxing stay at this cabin, lots of room for everyone. Loved having the master bedroom and a 2nd living room on the other side of the house for extra privacy if needed. We had no cupboards to store our food because there was food that belonged to other people in there.
The fridge still had some food, as well as the fridge freezer, which we removed and put into a small floor freezer that had other things in it.

Amazing view to wake up to at sandy hook
Lots of space, beaches to walk or drive to and most amazing floor to ceiling wall of windows looking out at lake. Very quiet as neighbors were away. Kitchen well equipped

The kids used the firepit every night, and the barbecues for most dinners. There are restaurants near enough, if you don't want to cook. Although it is not listed as wheelchair accessible, we found it easy enough for a person with a walker to manoeuvre, as long as he had help at the entrances. Good experience.

Very good for a family vacation
The property is a good size for lots of different activities. The view of the lake is spectacular and fire pit a real highlight. Access to the water could be improved. The kayaks were great. The listing said that the cabin could sleep 19 but the rooms are tight for beds and sofa beds and not everyone found sofa bed mattresses comfortable. A few minor maintenance issues could be addressed. However, the overall experience was very positive.

Perfect getaway !!
4th time renting this cottage for a ladies weekend getaway . Only 45 minutes away from Winnipeg directly on Lake Winnipeg. Beautiful sunrises. Spacious, clean, and 2 bathrooms! Would highly recommend!! Owner Daniel is very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

A lot I would change!
The things I liked about this property was a beautiful view of the lake (although there is no access to the lake), a large fire pit, spacious living room, large dining room table (we sat 10 comfortably). What I didn't like was the pull out sofas, once those were pulled out, there is very little room to get to the bed, the mattresses on these pull out sofas were paper thin, causing even a teenager that doesn't weigh much, much discomfort, the kitchen was okay, but lacked some things and drawers didn't close on some and there needs to be a solution for garbage. Each time we put out garbage (there was only one garbage bin that had a lid), animals would get at it. The garbage gets picked up every Monday, but with 10 people, you are taking out garbage almost everyday. It was a constant struggle to clean up garbage. Dan was good to work with, and if I could offer any advise it would be - get rid of the sofa beds! Put bunk beds in instead (double on bottom and single on top), it would be a much more efficient way to use the space. Also, the small living room is not used to sit in - you could put 3 bunk beds in there easily. I would also enclose the deck area so it could still be enjoyed during rainfalls. The other thing that is critical to find a solution is the garbage - perhaps a container that closes by the road would be the solution. Overall an okay property, but I would not rent again unless changes were made.

Spacious for family of 11, well equipped kitchen, nice view of lake, nice fire pit area with lots of lawn chairs, short drive to gimli or winnipeg beach for beach and amenities

Very comfortable
This was our second year staying with Daniel. He has made improvements to make to stay even more comfortable. The house is comfortable, located on the lake, has everything a person needs. Daniel is very accommodating and wanting to ensure a comfortable stay.

This was our second stay at this rental property. As always, we were treated great by the owner. Its a simple very nice property which is right up our alley.

Location was great! Amenities were everything we needed for a fishing trip.
As we discussed with home owner, improvements that could be made to the property would be a fish cleaning house, WiFi, and repair of windows in order to seal up and prevent cold draft. Overall though, we truly enjoyed staying at this property as it gave us enough space for 14 guys and our gear.

Family getaway
We had an opportunity to be a guest in this beautiful cabin by the lake. The owner exceeded our expectations. This cabin is huge can easily fit 25 people which is hard to find in the province. The owner was very accommodating and the price is reasonable. Very clean, has a very nice backyard with the huge firepit facing the lake. My family and I had fun. Looking forword for our next cabin trip :)

Enjoyable visit
We rented the cottage to accommodate out of town guests for a wedding. Place was very large, with nice views, massive yard, in a great area close to Winnipeg and other towns/amenities. All was as expected/promised. Great for a large group, had 15 the last night and was able to sleep everyone in beds which was great.

Beautiful relaxing lake front getaway
My self and a group of friends have had the pleasure of renting this beautiful lakefront retreat for the past two years. The grounds and cabin have been spotless upon arrival. The owners met all of needs before and after rental with great communication. Lots of room for many guests. Two bathrooms for a group of women is definitely a plus. Each year have seen improvements that enhanced our stay. Kitchen equipped with most everything you will need. And great bbq! Very well maintained. Fire pit over looking the lake is great!!! Beautiful sunrise views as well. Would definitely rent this cottage again and as well, recommend it to anyone. Close to Winnipeg Beach and Gimli, and only 30 from north perimeter. Great value for the money. Looking forward to next year.
