About this house rental
Located in McMinnville, this attractive house for $325 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. At Wine Country Properties, we believe in serving you by being responsive to your needs and by providing the best location and atmosphere to make your vacation memorable. Located ONE BLOCK off our famous 3rd Street - our Wine Country Farmhouse is perfect for those interested in staying right in the mix of all that is McMinnville. Within walking distance, you will enjoy 17 wineries & tasting rooms, 34 unique restaurants, 7 tap-rooms & breweries and wander 14 stroll-able blocks. The Evergreen air museum, space museum and water park are less than a mile away as is Linfield College. Also, an easy drive or walk from the house is the McMinnville Aquatic Center, which has adults/kids swimming, spa and a weight room for $4 admission. This circa 1911 home has been lovingly cared for and features a beautiful farmhouse kitchen, equipped with all the necessities, furnished in the period of the home and roomy for group cooking and gathering. There are two bathrooms in the home, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs bath has a tub/shower unit and the upstairs bath features a roomy tile shower. Three luxuriously furnished bedrooms are available (two queens & one king). One bedroom is located downstairs and is furnished with a queen bed. Upstairs bedrooms feature an additional queen and king size bed. The landscaped back yard is fully fenced and is great for families and pets. There is a large patio area that is partially covered with a gas grill, patio furniture, and outdoor lighting. Guests will enjoy this professionally decorated home which features an eclectic mix of new polished pieces, local art, and treasured antiques. The home features Wi-Fi, cable and also has a DVD player. For the convenience of our guests, we also offer the use of a washer/dryer located in the utility room. We're excited to announce that the Wine Country Farmhouse has received some recent upgrades including; new master bedroom carpet, master bath upgrades, and kitchen upgrades!

Place is as advertised and easy walk to downtown , clean, and well stocked. Only negatives are some road noise from busy street and a lack of water pressure in downstairs shower. Even had a nice backyard and barbecue for when weather is nicer. Also a plus to have off street parking for two cars. Great restaurants are close as well.

My family had a great time staying in the Wine Country Farmhouse. It is a short walk to great restaurants and shops. The home was cute, clean and had comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed sitting in the well-kept garden in the morning with our coffee. The home had everything we needed. We will rent again the next time in McMinnville.

Great house in a great location. All the amenities you could want or need. Easy walk to bars and restaurants. Visited 12 wineries during the week and all were within 45 minute drive. Fenced in back yard was perfect for our Frenchies. Even managed to visit the Evergreen Air and Space Museum.

We booked this place with some friends to celebrate some birthdays in Oregon wine country. The house was clean, cozy, had an amazing backyard, and the proximity to downtown McMinville was so convenient! We very much enjoyed our stay here.

The road noise at night was terrible, especially in the main floor bedroom due to traffic and dogs barking. Access to the main floor bathroom was a long distance from the bedroom. Positives: the kitchen was well appointed and walking access to restaurants was good.

We were in town for a family wedding. We wanted a place close to town that would comfortably fit 5 adults. This place fit the bill! It was a very warm set of days and the air conditioning worked well. We were able to walk to town for coffee, lunch and browsing the many shops.

Darling and perfectly appointed home in the heart of McMinville! Super comfy beds and loads of pillows which we love. Adorable backyard too! Nice neighborhood for dog walking and very convenient and walkable to downtown. Very clean , kitchen is very well outfitted. We had a great time and would definitely return!

The stay was fine … I’d give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. The property had a great location, and it was clean. One of the couples who stayed with me said their bed was uncomfortable - ear plugs were provided by the property manager and were needed for that bedroom. The beds in the other bedrooms were fine. The living room was a bit small - not ideal for 5 people. Three of us hurt our fingers opening/closing the front door with the key … we all banged and hurt our fingers … it’s fine once you learn the hard way to be very gentle and slow. I think if it was only 2 couples were staying the bed situation and living room situation would have been much better.

The house is exactly as pictured. It is roomy, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were cozy. The kitchen is huge and seemed to have everything one could want - though the house is so close to town we just walked to restaurants. Everything was immaculate. Unfortunately it was cool and damp when we stayed, but the outside patio area was lovely and inviting. We were sorry the weather only allowed us to enjoy it from afar. It would be terrific on a nice day. The owner was very prompt in replying to questions and providing suggestions for places to eat. The whole process could not have been easier or more enjoyable.

We needed a place for our family with grandparents stay and extended family that visited to have a landing zone in between graduation events. The location of this house is great and the house served our needs. Some things to note that I didn’t see in other reviews that were issues for us. There is no garbage disposal. The ice maker and water dispenser in the Refrigerator does not work. The fridge is very small and hard to get large items in and out of because the door doesn’t open all of the way. It is a bit awkward having the main bathroom off of or in the kitchen. The other safety item we noticed is the door knob on the front door is set too close to the door jam and we had multiple people in our party pinch their fingers trying to shut the door.

We had a great time staying here. The convenience of being able to walk to the main downtown area and restaurants was perfect. The property also had a great backyard and a few outdoor games for the family to play with when the sun came out. We would stay here again.

Charming house, very clean and comfortable. Only a couple of things to note. Heavy street noise and the downstairs bedroom bathroom is off the kitchen. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the house.

We were in town for a wedding at one of the area wineries. We found the home to be very welcoming and comfortable. The layout was good and the master bedroom bed was super comfortable. The laundry facilities And offstreet parkingworked out great and it had a very nice backyard. For our first experience at a VRBO, we were extremely pleased. Thank you to our hosts!

Great house right in the heart of McMinnville. Just a block off of main street with great access to restaurants, bars, tasting rooms, and shopping. Just a few minutes to get out of town and begin exploring the beautiful wineries around the area. We loved it.

For an older home, the place is very lovely. It needs more seating for sitting in the living room. It only has four seating, three on the couch and one upholstered chair, which was wobbly and we didn't want to use, not including the five dining table chairs, which are made of wood. Because I had a boot, I had to remove the small carpets so I wouldn't slip. It's close to many things that you can walk to. We still enjoyed our time there and would come back to it.

We stayed at the property for 5 nights when we had a killer heat wave here and the house stayed cool and comfortable with great AC! It is also very central to wineries, and only 45 minutes to the beach. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dogs, plenty of room to relax, and the kitchen was very well stocked with spices, coffee, paper towels, bath supplies and more. We could walk to all the local restaurants, and they even have wine tastings right in town so no driving needed. Would highly recommend!!!

McMinnville offers much right in town, and this charming older home is conveniently located for an enjoyable experience while in the area. An older home is expected to be a bit noisy., but any other concerns (air conditioning for example) have been handled by the hosts. There is a nice patio out back for late-night sessions, and everything is well equipped. It was a pleasant experience dealing with the hosts.

Went for a girls weekend to visit the wineries and it was a perfect location. Within walking distance to downtown and all the food and shops. Rental was very clean and as described. Very charming and a lot of character. Would highly recommend!
