This is our absolute favorite place to come and stay each year. We sleep right at the beach then walk on to the beach each morning. The hosts are the kindest people and you have everything you could need. We will never stay anywhere else!

every detail and amenity was thoughtful, and perfect for a family with a young child - silent floors and bed, cooling air, big sink. Couldn’t ask for an easier, cleaner, closer to the beach spot. The lovely historical elements all over the room were such a wonderful bonus. Perfect stay. We hope to visit again!

The apartment was clean and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Loved the view of the inlet and watching the activity in the morning when we opened the blinds. Steps to the beach. Hosts Nancy and Kent were lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend!!!!!

My husband and I spent three nights at the oar house. The location is wonderful especially if you spend most of your time at the beach. We found the space to be comfortable for two adults. The property is well maintained and has a long family history with the owners. We enjoyed eating many of our meals while watching the boat activity and sunsets. Our only difficulty was with the enclosed shower stall. It’s small and the shower head was very high. It could be used as a handheld but we found it cumbersome. Also the pictures show a w/d combo in the space but it is actually in the garage.

I had a fabulous stay at Kent & Nancy’s cozy quaint charming cottage!! I booked for 4 nights in order to be available for my beautiful daughter’s Beach Wedding at her father’s place down the street! Nancy and Kent were available quickly by phone with any questions I had and were wonderful hosts. The wedding was picture perfect, even better than a Hallmark!! I will always have fond memories of my stay at this GEM 💎 overlooking the gorgeous Inlet. I’m extremely grateful and a very happy Mama!!

We loved this little apartment so much last summer, that we stayed again this summer. The location and view can’t be beat. Everything you need is there for you. Highly recommend this place for couples and small families with a young kid.

The Oarhouse, steps away from the Atlantic, is clean and airy. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics needed to make our own cooking easy. It has an excellent view of the Manasquan Inlet. It is a perfect place to enjoy both quiet time and beach fun. The friendly hosts have a long and deep relationship with the area evidenced by the many oars and photographs (dating back more than 50 years) on display in the apartment, with explanatory labels.

A true gem

We had a great stay at Oarhouse. The property has the most convenient location close to everything but surprisingly quiet and chill. I would recommend this house for anyone visiting the area. The house has everything you would need to make the trip easy.

This was the perfect location for our trip to the Jersey shore! The beach was beautiful, the view of the inlet was fascinating and our hosts were wonderful! The Oarhouse was well stocked for all of our needs and very clean.

Everything that you would want- great location, great views, very clean, and owners are super accommodating. Highly recommended
