Nestled in Fontana Lake, this lovely cabin for $275 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Eagle’s Landing is a 2 Bedroom/2 Full Bathroom, 1,345 (inc. Decks) sq ft cabin for rent on 12 acres in Bryson City, NC that overlooks Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This land is bordered on 3 sides by 600 acres of the Nantahala National Forest. Lake access and pontoon rentals are available just a few short minutes from the cabin. Eagle’s Landing was designed and built by local artists and craftsmen with great attention to every detail. This is brand new construction with thoughtful furnishings that include one-of-a-kind artwork, decor and handmade furniture crafted by the owners. Be at peace knowing these homes are completely free of any toxic fragrances or chemical cleaners. There are no air fresheners, plug ins, scented candles, incense, commercial laundry soaps or fabric softeners. We wash all of the linens, shower curtains, bath mats etc. in house to insure they are cleaned without any toxic commercial soaps, stain removers, or bleach. We use non toxic cleaning supplies like Unscented Seventh Generation, BonAmi, BioKleen, peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda. This entire 12 acre property has NEVER been sprayed with pesticide. We are aware of how these toxic commercial fragrances have a burning effect on the nerves, can perpetuate a weakened immune system, deplete the nervous system, and cause several other chronic health symptoms. Rejoice in knowing that inside our homes and outside in the surrounding hundreds of acres of National Forest, clean air and oxygen are absorbed with every breath. This was our second time staying at Eagles Landing. The place for us is perfect for viewing the fall leaves and visiting apple orchards. The surrounding area has a lot to offer. Always a craft festival or market to visit and the Great Smokey Mountains is perfect for never ending activity. Returning to the Cabin before dark to relax on the deck overlooking the lake with the beautiful colors of Fall surrounding us while watching the sun go down keeps us coming back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

There are numerous Cabins in the Great Smokey Mountains with great views of the Mountains and Water but none of them compare with this property. The view of the Great Smokey Mountains over the beautiful Fontana Lake is breathtaking. Waking in the morning and sitting on the porch overlooking the lake was relaxing. The proximity to Bryson City was just down the street and easy to get to. I will definitely be staying at this property again. Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us!

During our stay, we watched bears walk along the far side river bank and saw a couple of eagles fly by. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Everything we hoped for. Our hosts were excellent! Any questions, they were quick to respond. The cabin was extremely clean, the walls covered in beautiful artwork, and views from every side. Oh, the view! We couldnt tear our eyes away! The drive up was gradual (a lot of switchbacks) but oh, so nice. Everyone in town was friendly. Took home the memory of whitewater kayaking on the Nantahala. Thank you, Michelle, for the wonderful memories!!!

This cabin was exactly as picturesque as depicted in the description. Short trip to Bryson City which is a cute small town. The host allowed us to walk through her extensive garden where we gathered vegetables for a salad. We enjoyed the changing weather from the large deck. Our only suggestion would be to put the picnic table on the back porch where it would get more use. Would definitely visit again.

Eagles Landing is the perfect place to unplug for a couple days! The cabin is well appointed and very clean! We spent evenings having dinner by the firepit or on the porch overlooking the lake. The weather kept us from doing planned outdoor activities but we were still able to visit NOC, Bryson City and Gatlinburg. Sans rain, we had planned to rent a boat to tour the lake and do some hiking. Michelle was a super host and we would definitely stay here again!

You are hard-pressed to find a better view! Cabin is meticulously maintained and well-appointed. Beds are very firm, so if you need a softer sleeping situation, you better pack a mattress topper. There are two adjacent cabins by the same owner and the owner's residence is just the other side of some trees, but this cabin is on the end, deck facing the lake, so you only know you have neighbors if they are outside talking. We hike 15-20 miles in a weekend, so missed having a hot tub or soaking tub to soothe our tired muscles, but chose this cabin for its spectacular view, good location, and EV charger. Easy access and convenient to town and the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

We never got tired of enjoying the breathtaking views off the back deck. It's a very comfortable cabin with all the modern conveniences. It's also located very close to the Great Smoky National Park and other outdoor attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was so wonderful! Very clean, comfy furniture, Beds etc. everything you could possibly need to feel right at home! The Host's were great, very responsive! We also loved the view and the firepit with all the firewood you could need! It was really nice not having to stop somewhere and buy firewood. I just can't say enough about this place!!!

My wife and I stayed three nights at this absolutely beautiful house that is on a bluff overlooking the Smoky Mountains. The view is just spectacular from the deck, living room and bedroom. The pictures in the listing do not really show how wonderful it is to sit on the deck and watch the mountains, especially at sunrise.
The house is everything you could ask for - new and comfortable furnishings, well-equipped, very clean. It's just a very, very nice place to relax and enjoy. The hosts - Michelle and Shannon - are great to work with. Michelle's responses to messages are almost instantaneous.
This was our best VRBO experience ever and we cannot recommend this property strongly enough.
