About this house rental
Situated in Andover, this lovely house for $508 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Please note: I am happy to report that the Hot Tub has been replaced effective 12/25/23!! Hill top home with views close to several top Vermont ski areas: Okemo (15 min), Stratton (30 min), and Killington (45 Min). The house is located on Andover Ridge, 5 minutes up the hill from the quintessential Vermont town of Weston known for the original Vermont Country Store and the Weston Playhouse. This cozy, newer log home is perfect for 2 to 3 families to share. At 3000 square feet the home has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The main floor features a large master with deck/views, king bed, and an ensuite master bath with wonderful claw foot tub and separate shower. Also on the main floor are 2 guest bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a full bath, office/den, laundry room, and a large living room with cathedral ceilings and a gorgeous stone fireplace and is adjacent to an open plan dining room/kitchen. Easy access from the main room to 7-person hot tub with amazing views. Downstairs is a perfect kid’s zone with a large large TV rec room, 2 additional bedrooms (one w/full bed, one w/two twin beds), a full bath and a large mudroom off the 2-car garage. There is also a loft overlooking the main floor living room for additional play or sleeping space. The house includes cable, internet, washer/dryer, firewood, and all towels and linens. There are flat screen TVs in the main living room armoire and the lower level game area. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and toaster oven, gas stove/oven. For Summer and Fall days, there is a deck off of the master and main floor living room that includes a hammock, outdoor dining table and Weber gas grill. The house features radiant heat on the main and lower level as well as a Sauna to warm up in after a day of winter activities!

"Epic Sunsets" "Big-get-lost-in-house" "Cozy Fireplace" "Living in the Clouds" These are some comments of our family members after having spent 7 days in this cabin on "almost" top of the hill. The deck with view is truly outstanding. There were some minor problems, some due to the floods in Vermont, but they were addressed by the owner in a satisfactory manner. Overall, a great house for a family gathering!

Our 4 night stay was a day after terrible flooding in Vermont and the property owner was great communicating with us as we determined whether we could make it to the house. The house easily fit our family as we spent quality time with all our children and grandmother. It was hot during our stay and we had a few fans to help stay cooler. Great kitchen appliances.

Oven and stovetop very finicky, no working smoke detectors, keypad to garage inoperable and had to shovel our way into the house. One of our cars barely made it up the hill, may want to note that snow tires or 4WD may be needed.

This home and property are incredible.
Perched up on a mountain ridge, the views were outstanding. House had more than enough space to accommodate our 2 family group of 9 for a long ski weekend at Okemo - which was an easy 20 min drive from the house.
The temps got crazy cold (-9 degrees/-30 windchill) when we were there, yet the home handled it very well and the inside remained cozy and warm. Can’t get over how much we loved the wood-burning fireplace and the sauna was a fantastic amenity for our ski weekend.
The kitchen has everything you’d need - my only minor gripe would be the gas range burners were a little wonky but once you figured it out it was fine.
Pictures do not do this home justice - just an amazing place. Communication with the owner was excellent - everything was very smooth.
We absolutely would and hope to return next year!

Loved the stay and entire experience. Accommodated change requests with any hassle. Would highly recommend. Hope the hot tub gets fixed soon. Lastly kitchen crockery/glassware needs upgrade.

My wife and I invited 2 friends for 4 days of leaf peeping. The house was everything it was advertised to be. It was perfect. The views were second to none. Anthony (owner) was extremely gracious and friendly. Whether leaf peeping, skiing or just plain old relaxation, this is the place to be.

There was eight in our group, ages 53years to 79years. We had a great time and went to the play house to see steel magnolias and the horse races. The home was gorgeous and had everything you would need. One suggestion would be to get some working floor fans, some did not work. Thanks for sharing your home.

It was pleasure it was dealing with him! 2 days after we left we realized my niece forgot her stuffed animal and the host tracked it down and sent it to us! February Trip
We had a great time at this wonderful house. The host was so communicative and very nice and easy to work with. The house is great and the kids did a lot of sledding in the yard that they loved. Highly recommend this house for a winter getaway in a very snowy and beautiful area of Vermont.

Cozy winter retreat
Overall, another great visit to Andover Ridge. The house was warm and cozy with plenty of wood for the fire place. Could have been a little more attention to detail in the housekeeping. Just some dusty light fixtures and burned out bulbs but absolutely nothing that prevented us from having a wonderful time there!
A few touches on the lower level would make it more comfortable for guests on that floor. Rods in the closets and knobs on the closet doors.
Nonetheless, our stay was absolutely fantastic. This was a repeat visit and we are already dreaming about when we will be back.
Kids had a great time sledding. Parents had a great time relaxing!
Owner is wonderful. Excellent communication. I recommend this property highly!

The house was absolutely beautiful, and the mountain views were stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking family dinners together, and the big living room was perfect for enjoying each others company while we watched the snow fall. It was so fun being able to use the hot tub too! We would love to stay here again!

A wonderful house in an absolutely breathtaking location. Communication was very clear, direct, and prompt, while check-in was smooth. Every moment of our stay was magical, with the mountains in perfect view, and the jacuzzi and sauna were great. Amazing experience, and we have no complaints. Highly recommended!

This home is spacious, incredible views of the mountains and hills, quiet, and within fairly easy reach of wonderful hiking trails (including the Greeen Mtns with a section of the Appalacian Trail), and state park with swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking. The kitchen was one of the best, well stocked in terms of cooking equipment. The teenagers among us (as well as all the adults) thought it was great. We had plenty of space to if we wanted to be alone, and the gathering spaces when all together were wonderful. Hot tub was an added attraction for the cool evenings, or after a long hike. The picture is totally accurate and there were no other homes within visiblity although there are other homes nearby. None of us wanted to leave!
The owner was very responsive with any questions or problems.
