Really disappointing. Erase this hotel from your list !

When I arrived, I was asked to pay right away, even before seeing my room. The electricity in my room wasn't working so, in the dark, I wasn't able to take a shower after a seven hour flight from Paris. I was also told it was impossible to get a cup of coffee in the hotel. The view from my room was over a very sad and very poor shanty town. All this lead me to change hotel immediately. I left afround 5 p:m and didn't sleep in Denver Hotel. Is there a possibility that I could be refunded ? I am an old customer of Booking !

No welcome except to ask me to pay my bill immediately. No electricity in the room. No possibility to have even a cup of coffee !

Good hotel, close to lively area near university but still quite at night

The location is great, the staff very friendly and helpful. The glass front in the rooms are thick and keep the noise outside. Gonna come back another day

Very well located in the city centre

Comfortable and quiet room in the city centre. Many of the city's attractions are within walking distance. Complimentary airport pickup, which is much appreciated given the traffic. Better WiFi than in other places in Ethiopia.

good location, free airport transfer (from airport only) friendly, helpful staff

huge gap between window and wall so we basically slept with open windows - very noisy due to loud music in nearby places + many dogs barking all night

your rooms are clean and neat and it is found at the center of the city.

I got the bed service before six month it was fine and that is why I back to this hotel and reserved with phone but 1.you were reserved my room at number 904 but the receptionist gave me lift service card up to floor 8 and my mother she is old and suffered to down and up from 8th to 9th 2.after I reserved 2 days I add 1 more day but on this day no one tried to clean the room and the beds was not ready when we back to the room. 3.At the end of the day while I left the room I was asked the guard to support to carry my baggage but totally he was not volunteer to help me. Generally your service is degraded through time and I will never back and even I will never to recommend for my friends to demand your service. Have a nice time.

Superb

This hotel is fantastic value for money. There are no frills but it was clean, safe and well kept. Everything worked and staff were really helpful. Free airport shuttle and really strong wifi. There is no food (I think!) at the hotel but there are lots of really excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. If you want a cheap but nice hotel then I would highly recommend this.

Not a good experience in this hotel

Cheap hotel in Addis. Confortable bed, the receptionist from the second day was friendly

Bad smell from the bathroom The first receptionist was not friendly, could hardly speak English. Credit card was not working During the night, the person staying in the room in front was noisy, had his door opened, he was getting girls and was speaking loud while listening to music for more than one hour. I asked to be quiet. He became aggressive. I felt threatened and locked the door.

Excellent value, with clean, comfortable rooms and really helpful staff.

The Hotel is clean and tidy. The staff and Manager are friendly and very helpful.

There is no food option - breakfast etc. or kettle in the rooms, but this was OK.

There is no breakfast on site Excellent location, Estipanos is a very nice guy ,helps with every request, everything else needs to be improved. At check out after 20 days staying at the place I asked to stay 5 more hours For this they charged me 1100 birr

Cleanliness does not change sheets except for a very good experience

Great location and extremely comfortable room. All of the staff were wonderful. I also really appreciated the airport shuttle and the tea in the room.

Excellent , great value for money

Everything in the room was top quality. Beds, furniture, bathroom... They even had a smart TV with Netflix. Speedy Wi-Fi We had viewes in two directions. The staff was very friendly and professional.

The only downside is that since they closed the restaurant since the pandemic started, they worked with a neighbor restaurant with limited options.

An excellent choice for the Budget Business Traveller

The hotel is located in mid-town in a busy neighbourhood, but also one supplied with many restaurants and coffee shops. The WiFi is better than average, though not perfect, not that it is anywhere in the city. Powercuts do occur but are quickly dealt with, meaning no sitting around in the dark for ages, unlike elsewhere in the city. As the hotel is only three years old (or two if you subtract a year of no bookings due to COVID) almost everything works. That includes the lift, the TV and the hot water. Good water pressure too. Hotel bed is very comfortable and you are also supplied with "Denver Hotel" slippers and in the wardrobe, there was even a Hotel Robe. The hotel also arranges airport transfers via their new Toyota Minibus, and when I arrived at the airport, both the Driver AND the Hotel Manager had come to welcome me, which was a nice touch. They were also on time and had clear signs with my name and the hotel name, plus they knew exactly where I would come out of the airport. They also checked where I was up to via WhatsApp as I navigated my way through the Arrivals Circus. In summary, I would classify this hotel as being an excellent choice for the Budget Business Traveller. For the price paid, you won't find many, if any, better value hotel options in the City.

The lack of a breakfast option may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you just want the room and to sort yourself out with the rest (which to be fair you can do for very little money in the local area) then it's fine. No toiletries were supplied with the room (other than soap) during my stay either. Teabags are refreshed every day, but there is no instant coffee. These are only minor things to be fair, and in this price bracket, you'd be lucky to get any of these things anyway.

My stay was pleasant. I recommend this hotel for those who would like to be close to the local people and visit Addis.

location, very friendly stuff, on time picking and bringing to airport by their shuttle. The manager Mr. Estifanos and the shuttle driver Mr. Yared are helpful and cooperative.

no breakfast and bar service although understandable due to covid situation.

With a central location to attractions, museums, dining and shopping, Denver Hotel is a great value!

The location in Arat Kilo was excellent for walking to many destinations, including shopping and food (Ramino's is awesome)! The WiFi was stable and allowed me to stay in touch with friends back home. The room was cleaned daily, the the bed made, and fresh water and toiletries restocked. Housekeeping did most excellent work and I was very pleased with the room cleanliness. The coffee service in the entry was very convenient and tasty. The doorman, Johnny, was very courteous and always greeted me both coming and going!

The safe in my room had a dying battery and beep constantly during my entire stay. This made falling asleep a challenge every night and I had to play music on my phone to mask the sound so I could go to sleep. I mentioned this at the front desk and was told it would be addressed, but it never was. The window prop was damaged or broken and would not hold the window open, causing the room to become quite warm during the day.

They didnt know me on my arrival despite that i booked already on booking.com. The checking-in was terrible! I had to change property for the two other nights.
