About this house rental
Located in South Haven, this attractive house for $325 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome home to our roomy and comfortable 3 bed, 2 bath home on a double lot with fenced in yard. We provide a fully stocked modern kitchen with stainless appliances, granite and every tool you need. We have bikes for the whole family and a trailer for your little ones as well as a wagon and ride on toys! The king master with adjoining bath on the first floor is perfect for those who don't want to deal with stairs making the house ideal for multi generational vacation families. Upstairs you will find two more HUGE bedrooms: a king bedroom, a queen plus 2 x twin bedroom and a hall bath. In the fully fenced and totally private yard you will find a hammock, fire pit, propane gas grill, picnic table, chairs, umbrella on the deck and patio. Grab the bags game (in garage) or ladder toss-there is SO much space on the double lot, all fenced in for your privacy! Your well behaved pet is welcome too (notify at time of booking, with pet fee). Saturday to Saturday in peak season, 7 night minimum rental. FAQ answers: Check in is 3pm, Check out is 10am. BEACH TOWELS NOT PROVIDED. Coffee pot is traditional-coffee provided, located in the freezer. Laundry, hand and dish soap, all provided. Bike lock with bikes. Firewood available at gas stations. COVID19 precautions listed below: **We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning then disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in. Additionally, we have removed all decorative bed pillows and pillow shams. While the beds do not look as festive as they would normally, we hope you understand.**

This was the perfect place for us to get together with old friends for a weekend of music and good conversation. The house is super clean, cozy and set up just right for two couples or families. It was cold and rainy but that didn’t matter because the house was warm and welcoming. Namastay I’d the perfect name for this listing.💕

We enjoyed the location with an easy 10-15” walk to beach or town, access to bike trail, and quiet surroundings. The surrounding neighborhood was run down but we didn’t have any safety problems. The space worked well.

This house really feels like a home! The house was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Except for food, Shannon provided everything we needed, including plenty of towels, kitchen tools, pots and pans, lake toys, bikes, and though we didn’t have a dog, noticed supplies for them. One car fits in the garage, so parking wasn’t an issue despite there being lots of construction when we stayed. My only complaint is that one of the beds had a stained sheet. Not a dealbreaker for me since I usually bring an extra set of bedding when staying anywhere. The beach and downtown area is a short drive away. I would stay here again and highly recommend!

House is beautiful and had all essentials for cooking. Plenty of toys, games for everyone. Backyard was amazing! Played Bean bags every day and had fires every night! Shannon was very accommodating and available if we needed anything. Thanks for a great week, would stay here again absolutely.

Believe it! Believe every word in this description. This South Haven property was amazing! Everything you could ever need, and then, some was provided. The housekeeping staff did a great job making sure the house was clean and ready to go!
Huge bonus... our dog LOVED the fenced in yard. The owners have done a wonderful job making sure that their guests have a fantastic stay! Needless to say, I highly recommend this property.

Great place, thought of everything.
We had a wonderful time at the house. It is large enough for our family to spread out in and worked well for our dog. Super clean and comfortable. The fenced in back yard was great for hanging out and having a little evening fire. They had all kinds of bicycles and beach toys and even a shop-vac for the sand in your vehicle. Kitchen is stocked and and usable. We booked last minute and they We’re very accommodating. Would highly recommend and we will be going back for a repeat trip.

Very clean. Good location. Only suggestion I would have would be to put a grab bar in the bathtub. With two knee replacements it is hard for me to lift my legs over the bathtub. It seemed slippery so had one of my girls help me in and out.

Beautiful home
Great rental! We’ve stayed here twice, with plans to return for another visit. Very clean and updated, it feels like a home away from home. Spacious, fenced in yard. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants, but we enjoy the exercise and looking at all of the homes along the way.

We were in South Haven for my son’s wedding. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend much time at the property. Everything exceeded our expectations. The property was very clean and well appointed. We would love to come back again when we can relax and enjoy it all.

Great spot in South Haven!
We had a wonderful time staying here. The home was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Just a short walk (~10 min) to the beach & Kids Korner play structure, which was perfect for our family w/ 3 little kids. Quick 5 min drive to downtown or Meijer/Walmart (for groceries). The property includes a binder FULL of info about South Haven, including maps, suggestions on what to do, where to go, and menus from all the local restaurants! Was a really nice touch, and super helpful. The garage is FULL of stuff to use - we didn't use the bikes (there are a bunch!) but we did use the wagon for the kids, as well as the kiddie pool and sprinkler (kids had a great time in the back yard). Very comfortable stay overall. Easy check-in/out. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice home! It fit my family well. We had 4 Adults, 2 Teens, and 2 Fur babies. Our dogs have a small backyard back home, so they really enjoyed exploring the yard and playing fetch with toys we brought from home.
We were able to grill out a couple nights and play yard games. We brought one of our own..."The Bottle Game" and we also played some of the board games at the house. We had good weather as well, with a couple of cooler, 70 degree, days.
The garage offers nice range of different sized bikes, cooler, beach chairs, a wagon, cornhole, ladder toss, etc. We did bring our own beach umbrella, and beach mat.
The home is not directly in town, but still very close to the beach. We rode bikes to the beach the first night, and it was about 8-10 min to get to the blue stairs beach access. Saw a great sunset!
You can also walk to town. Its only .9 mi walk / 20 min. For us, we needed the large backyard for the dogs to play, so it was worth a couple extra blocks for a walk into town. You wouldn't be able to find a large property this size w/ a fence closer to Phoenix Street, or the beaches. Very happy with our stay!

Great Vacation in South Haven
We reviewed several different properties and ultimately went with this one - GREAT CHOICE! Clean, comfortable with all the comforts of "home". Pet-friendly; we were able to bring our 50+ lb. fur baby with us, and he absolutely loved the fenced back yard. Lots of room to run, with a fire pit and hammock for us humans to enjoy. Beds were comfortable as was all the furniture. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities (coffee, sugar, condiments). We especially enjoyed taking the bikes in the garage out for a spin. Everything for a young family to those with teens was included. The town of South Haven had just enough to do without being overwhelming. The beach was a quick 10 minute bike ride. The hosts provided a guide book of different activities in the area - you could find what matched your interests and budget. There was previous ratings about the neighborhood - we in no way felt this was low end, could maybe considered transitional, BUT we loved it. The neighbors were quiet and we had no issue going out walking at dusk/dark, did not feel unsafe in any way. My young adult children (19, 22) would frequently take bike rides or walks at dusk down to the beach to watch the sun set and never had an issue or stated they saw anything that caused them concern.
Bottom line- we would definitely recommend this property and hosts. Having stayed in varying types of rentals from the US to Iceland to Germany/Europe, this rates up there especially with regard to cost/benefit. We hope to make another visit in coming years.
