The view is worth every penny. Huge, clean unit. Excellent communication. I would stay here every time. Cannot say enough about how beautiful the view is.

This is a very nice and clean unit with a wonderful location. The walk down to the beach is short but steep as many have mentioned. We would take morning walks to the beach and then also hang out at the very clean and welcoming pool. The air conditioning worked well all of the appliances were clean and functioning. The provided kitchen cooking and eating utensils were adequate and allowed us to cook a few meals. I had to work while here and the internet was strong and stable and made logging into work a breeze.The view of the beach and ocean was top notch and the waves sounded like they were 20 feet away. I would have no problem staying here again.

This unit is my favorite, its my 4th time spending a week here and it keeps giving me the same expectations. The security staff always with a smile, the HK and Vacasa staff amazing as always!! The sunsets speechless and if you sleep with the window open the moon will always show up to make your night even better! See you soon 827!

The place was just like the pictures! So spacious and nicely stocked with amenities for our one week stay - washer/dryer, cooking utensils, netflix login, two balconies to enjoy the ocean view, etc. The area was very chill/relaxing, compared to other beach areas in guanacaste that have become crowded but yet with amenities within walking distance. The location turned out to be great for us - we couldn't tell from googlemaps how far it was from 'stuff' but it turned out to only be a 5 min. walk to the small plaza with restaurants, pharmacy and mini-market as well as a 5 min. walk the other direction towards the beach. If we had more energy in us, we would've gone to Margaritaville for drinks, which was right across the street - Note: the walk does include a steep decline (there's steps) and walking on the side of a main road, but there were others walking on that path. We enjoyed reading some of the books left on the shelf, that we left a few behind to 'contribute'. :)
The only minor things we found lacking: WiFi was weak in one of the bedrooms, no dishwasher. Plus, there was construction right outside one of the bedrooms that started before 8am. Recommend to check about any construction before you book if sleeping in is important... Nothing huge, we would definitely book again!

Bed was comfortable. Unit was very clean. As other reviews have noted, there is a step up to get into the master tub/shower, but it shouldn't be an issue unless you have serious mobility issues. Gustavo (local contact) was very communicative and helpful. Several restaurants within walking distance. Decor was unobjectionable. There were a few dings and items of wear in the condo but nothing that impacted the stay. The condo complex pool is actually much nicer than I expected from the photos. We would stay here again.

We loved watching the views of the sunsets from our balcony. The condo was tastefully furnished and had everything from beach towels to beachchairs. The kitchen had basics. The pool was pretty but very chilly. The walk back from the beach is not an easy one. Parking felt safe and condo staff was wonderful. We will stay here again.

The unit was a good size for a family of four, three balconies were a nice surprise. Having a coffee pot with filters was helpful, washer and dryer with detergent also helpful. Easy walk to the beach and the handful of shops and eateries.

Amazing location & incredible views
My husband, two boys and myself stayed at Oceanica for 3 weeks. On checkin we were promptly greeted by Gustavo, who ensured we had absolutely everything we would need. The unit, 827, was clean and much much more spacious than the photos present. The pool area is clean, we used the BBQ many times and it was always spotless. The grounds are very well kept. The staff is very cheerful and helpful. My boys loved swimming laps in the pool. Flamingo beach is gorgeous, clean, quiet and the water warm. The views from our balcony were spectacular, especially the sunsets.
We had an issue with the wifi and the AC unit but Gustavo had everything dealt with and fixed so quickly. We travel frequently and we have never had the pleasure to deal with anyone better than Gustavo and Rigo, thank you for being so prompt and professional.

BEAUTIFUL UNIT & LOCATION
The unit was very clean when we arrived. It’s much more spacious than the photos lead you to believe. The views are incredible, especially the sun sets. Flamingo Beach is pristine. Rigo & Gustavo were a pleasure to deal with, amazing customer care from both of them. I would highly recommend this unit, it’s location, and the property managers. The grounds are immaculate, the pool lovely, bbq area was a great feature. All of the staff from maintenance to security were so friendly. My husband, two boys and myself had the best vacation at Oceanica.
