The location is perfect! So many restaurants and stores close by. Beach is 2 min drive. Could walk there in 10 mins. Beautiful sunsets a few min walk away. Only complaint is there are big frogs that make a loud crazy noise at night that you can hear . We finally got used to it after a few nights. Bring earplugs if the bullfrogs are still there when you stay. Other than that it was perfect. So many amenities in the place. Beach chairs, beach umbrella, plenty of towels, washer and dryer was very convenient.

Kauai is my favorite Hawaiian Island! Huge variety of beautiful places, all close together. We had a great stay here in December 2023. Two parents in the master bedroom, kids on the 2 single beds in the loft, nice kitchen/dining area, comfy couches for lounging in the living room, and the 3rd floor lanai puts you up in the treetops of a nicely landscaped development. Po'ipu area is a bit overdeveloped but still fun, with sea turtles sharing very nice beaches with swimmers and snorkelers. What we liked best, though, is that from the Waikomo Stream area you can get nearly anywhere in Kauai in 20-30 minutes, and it's only an hour or so to either end of the main road. So all the beaches, canyons, rivers, waterfalls, jungle (and did we mention all the beaches are different!) on Kauai are accessible. Even on a cloudy day you can still enjoy the dry side, and on a sunny day Ha'ena/Napali, Waimea Canyon, and Koke'e are incredible land/oceanscapes. Nothing but joy every day!

I wish we had reserved this place to start. Our vacation started out badly with a different VRBO that we had to leave within the first two hours because of the condition of the property. We quickly found this Waikomo Streams condo and were very impressed.
The hosts communicated everything we needed and we were able to get a hold of them via text if needed.
The condo is fairly large and was more than enough room for my husband and I and would easily fit a family of 6. The condo was clean, furniture up-to-date and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. The King bed was very comfortable and the temperature was always perfect with the windows open on both sides of the condo. We are very happy with our stay and would stay here again.
The location is perfect within 1-mile of beautiful beaches and plenty of restaurants. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of tenant parking.
Washer and dryer in the unit were a bonus that we appreciated.
Only downside, if you even want to call it that, is there are bullfrogs in the creek that is just below the condo and they are very loud all night long, every night. It was part of the experience that was easy to adjust to.
Highly recommend this property.

Our family enjoyed the close proximity to many different outdoor attractions, trails and restaurants. Each morning we were able to prepare food for the day and had plenty of space to relax in the evening. Very comfortable!

Set-up and decor gives you the home away from home feeling the moment you walk in. Condo was clean and orderly, and yet comfortable and inviting. Surrounding grounds were full of greenery and abundamt flora. Very quiet and peaceful.

The place is located at a perfect location and it has everything you need for the island (beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and even to-go containers). However, the pillows were not as clean and we had to wash them again. And the animals were pretty loud at night. Overall though, I think it is still a nice place to stay!

Great location

The condo itself is super cute and in a great location. However, if you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. The stream that runs behind the condo has some crazy loud frogs and lots of loud birds, which are nocturnal. Aside from the noise, the condo well thought out, comfortable and nicely decorated. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen um den Süden der Insel zu erkunden. Die Küche war sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Poolbereich war sehr schön und der Grill funktioniert super. Der Schlafbereich unter dem Dach heizt sich sehr auf, der Ventilator reicht nicht aus. Leider waren die Handtücher nicht gut, auf Nachfrage haben wir neue erhalten. Die Waschmaschine haben wir nicht benutzt, sie war schimmelig. Und leider konnten wir nicht gut schlafen, es gibt eine Menge Kröten (cane frogs), die direkt unter dem Balkon sehr sehr laut quaken.

The only drawback was no air and limited fans. We were quite hot and had to buy box fans, the tower fans and ceiling fans weren't powerful enough and trade winds we're as strong as usual. We had a convention at Koloa Landing and this was walking distance to there and to the Sheraton beach. We love Kauai!

The apartment was nicely appointed, had a great flow of space. the kitchen had everything we needed. The complex was quiet. The nearby shops were walkable. Multiple activities were a short drive. This is a quiet little paradise. Walking around the lush grounds encountering lots of different orchid varieties, flowers and cute geckos was a feast for the eyes. Our condo was roomy, open, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The one and only downer was the inside temperature. The loft was the main reason we chose this property and it was too hot to sleep up there. There are lots of fans to move around the various rooms but at some point you're just blowing around hot air. We heard that Kauai has the most expensive electrical costs in the renter beware.

The unit was like being home away from home. It was furnished the best of any timeshare or condo I have ever stayed in. Everything we could possibly need was provided for us. I loved the location within the complex, as we looked out our third floor lanai and master bedroom to beautiful green plants and a little stream with Koi fish. It was so pleasant and private. The unit and property was clean and well maintained. The location was close to the shopping center for groceries, shops, and restaurants, and also close to the beach. Even though it didn't have air conditioning, we were comfortable because of the numerous fans and all the windows that allowed the tropical breezes to blow through. I loved the funky, fun lights and decor. I didn't use the pool, but sat out there once, and it was quiet and peaceful. The only suggestion I can think of is to do a deep Spring cleaning on lights, blinds and wood slats, etc that don't get cleaned regularly.

We had a great 3 night stay in Waikomo Stream 131. This is a lovely, breezy and spacious 3rd floor unit with a loft. The building was quiet, with a nice pool and gorgeous gardens. The decor is very stylish, the kitchen well stocked, and the unit itself is well located for access to the beach and to restaurants, and as a jumping off point for Waimea Canyon. We especially loved relaxing on the breezy but shady lanai. Although there is no A/C, the unit gets nice air flow and we were very comfortable. Only complaint would be that the mattress is a little saggy, the pillows could be replaced (flat and seem well worn) and the bedding in general felt a little damp/moist throughout our stay, which may be due to the material, or maybe because of the overall humidity in the suite, though we didn't notice this issue anywhere else on our visit to Kauai. Overall, we'd stay here again.

There was scotch tape over several light switches with do not use instructions. An electric outlet on the kitchen counter didn't made me concerned about safety(electric fire).Overall the place was too dark at night. Also , there were no chairs with backs and no round table making playing board games very uncomfortable.The loft bedroom was too hot at night as there is no ventilation up there.Fans don't really help.Carpets and furniture are old and should be updated.Repairs to the walls under the north windows are required;not a note telling me to close them.

Great location, within walking distance to Poipu beach. The condo is well maintained, clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Only thing to note when we stayed is that there was a toad that croaked quite loudly from sundown to sunset, so bring earplugs!

We loved our stay at the property. It was just as cute in real life as the pictures showed. The condo is spacious and airy and well located for exploring the island. All the appliances were in excellent condition, including the washer/dryer. We used the bbq at the pool on two occasions and both times had the entire pool area to ourselves. Our only small complaint was that the condos carry noise. Evening quiet hours start at 8pm which meant the minor inconvenience of not running the dryer after this time because it causes too much disruption. TV noise from the neighboring condo carried into our bedroom on several nights which wasn’t a huge issue for us but could be if you are a light sleeper. We found some great snorkelling at the boat launch one street away. The day we were there, we saw a sea turtle and a manta ray. We bought groceries at Big Save in Koloa as the grocery shops near the condo were expensive and didn’t offer much selection. Long’s Drugs is just across the traffic circle from the condo and we found it to be an excellent place to stock up on water and basic food. Prices there were the cheapest we found. The condo provided a personal concierge who telephoned us before the trip to see if we were wanting to have her set up any excursions for us. She followed up with an email full of information about things we might like to see and provided her cell number in case we had questions or concerns about anything during stay.
